We have a Sears Home warranty and they sent Alliance Plumbing to fix the garbage disposal that is leaking. I filed the claim on April 9th, they sent a technician to check on the next day from Alliance Plumbing Inc. They said the garbage disposal needs to be replace and we set up a follow up session on April 16th and I paid the $60 deductible. They never showed up on April 16th. I called them several times and all calls went to a phone pick up service that said they don't have a way of direct contacting the company but would send a message so that they will call me back. Again, no one called. So I called Sears service and they tried and couldn't reach the company. Days later, Sears finally got the woman named Beth from Alliance Plumbing and she promised to call me. Again no call for another two days. So I followed up again and this time Sears agent connected me to Beth directly. She was not apologetic at all and acted like nothing has been wrong, so we set up another appoint for April 27th, again, no one showed up. I called Sears service and was able to talk to the manager Lisa, she followed up with Beth and I got another call from Beth asking to set up another appointment, again, not apologetic at all, I insisted to have the technician shown up on April 27th as I don't want to take another day waiting for them. She said she would follow up, again, there is no call, no show up. As of now, the issue hasn't been addressed, and they have taken the money from me and from Sears. They are a fraud. I have never had any experience as bad as this one. Can't believe they are still in business. I have requested Sears to send a different company to fix the issue and I hope that will be a better experience.

Horrible! They said I needed a new cartridge. Plumber took photo of needed part. It took them two months to return with the part only to find out it was the wrong part. The owner himself came out, and I was told that the woman I had been talking to on the phone (when I could get through) was his wife. He then proceeded to tell me about some very personal family problems that were affecting his business. He said they would call back within a week with a date for new part arrival and installation. No call. I tried to call them back. No answer. My Homeownders Warranty tried to call them. No answer. Finally 3 months into this, I was reassigned a new plumber.
Description of Work: Fix hot water pressure problem in shower.

My home warranty HMS sent out Alliance to confirm or deny if my valves were working. On January 8, 2014, I had a frozen pipe under my sink which burst and flooded my home; causing approximately $10,000 worth of damage (covered by my Home Insurance). Alliance could not get to my home under an emergency worker so my Home Insurance covered me to send a provider of my choice. I used Angie?s list and found 4FastPlumber who were at my home that same evening and were great. 4FastPlumber documented that the valve was not working which is a Home Warranty covered item. My conversation with HMS & Alliance was very clear about what was already document and was assured by both companies that time was allotted to FIX the problem in the event the ?valve was in fact not functioning? ? this too is documented. Alliance finally got around to making to my home on January 14, 2014. The technician was polite and efficient however he showed up in an Oldsmobile (maybe his personal sedan) and not a service vehicle which struck me to be very strange. The technician tighten up the valve under my sink then documented that they were functioning properly. I insisted he writing down that they were not functional until he tighten them ? this is critical verbiage for insurance and Home Warranty purposes. He was also there to follow up on an existing claim through HMS for water occasionally leaking around my washer & bathroom (6 months earlier but never addressed/assigned to Alliance). The technician recommended snaking my drain but said his boss had the snake that day so he would need to come back another day. Let me be clear, this technician was professional and efficient but how does a plumber not have a snake? It was my impression that this company had no intention in getting anything done other than telling HMS what they needed to hear in order for no further warranty work to be completed. I based this on my experience with the plumber not being remotely prepare for actual warranty work. I will not be calling them back for any service.
Description of Work: The technician tighten up the valve under my sink and inspected any active leak by washer and bathroom.

I was assigned this company through my home warranty service so only had to pay the $100 deductible but suffered much more through the experience. I had a relatively minor problem with a toilet - the water would occasionally drain out; and with no water in the trap, a foul smell from the drain would come. The person that came said that I could replace one part but that may or may not fix the issue; and that to replace that part versus the whole toilet would be the same level of effort - half an hour is what he quoted. When he came back, he ended up breaking a valve; then the flange, then the pipe, and the floor. He ended up having to come back 4 times - and each time I had to take time off of work to receive him - and each time either did not bring the required part or the tools. In the end, he fixed the issue but created permanent damage to the pipes which I'm hoping won't cause me bigger problems in the future. When I called the office to ask for someone else to be sent out, I learned that it was a two-person company and the owner actually worked somewhere else! The technician was very polite but somewhat techically challenged. It was a terrible experience
Description of Work: Fixing an issue with the toilet - but ended up creating a much bigger problem than the one he was there to fix.

It was just bad. They were very sorry, but they couldn't even send someone out the same day after I had to wait over a week for the appointment. It was all for nothing and now I have to start again to get someone out here.
Description of Work: I waited over a week for the appointment only to find out that they had erased my name and wanted me to reschedule.
