Description of Work: He applied a cleaner to the carpets and vacuumed it out. We had expected the rugs to be shampooed and cleaned, but this was just a chemical cleaning like the dry cleaner. It's my fault for not asking more questions, and the carpets were nice and 'clean' for Thanksgiving, but I wouldn't do this again.

+ -1 moreI didn't end up choosing Chem-Dry because the gentleman I spoke to on the phone sounded unprofessional. I could tell that he was the actual tech himself and not a customer service representative-but that wasn't the main problem. The intonation of his voice had an air of aggravation. It seemed as though he was rushing me off the phone. He claimed to have the best prices around but he did not. He is beat by a company called Pand S Home Services which is the company I ended up choosing to clean my carpets.
Description of Work: I only spoke with this company on the phone in order to get an estimate. I didn't receive any services.

Description of Work: We have used Chem-Dry several times before, both in a previous residence in a different town, and in our current residence. They do conscientious work for a very good price. They are trustworthy and truthful, courteous and professional. I am scheduling another appointment with them, they make that very easy. I'll submit a more thorough review after that service.

+ -1 moreThe Tech arrived ahead of promised time. Job took approx 2 hrs. He was very thorough. The stains (light colored carpet) were extensive, and hadn't been properly removed by previous cleaner (steam clean). We were very pleased with the results. He was reasonably professional, but chose to tell an offensive political joke and claimed superior, righteous knowledge regarding the incumbent - which lowered his score re: professionalism.
Description of Work: Cleaned carpet on 3 floors, incl 2 BR, 2 stairways & hallway, LR & lg. den, removed stains and applied protective coating.
