Brown Exterminating Co

After a week of trying to get rid of the fleas myself, I took the dog to the groomer and called Brown Exterminators. My timing was great because he was able to make a trip to my house that morning and before the dog got home. Our rep was very friendly, explained what to expect and what not to expect. Since I live in the forest, I signed up for monthly service. Extremely happy!

When I responded via Angie's list, I was contacted by the end of the day to schedule my appointment. Within a couple of days, the exterminator arrived. He was prompt, very knowledgeable and friendly. He took note of my pets and kids and was sure to use appropriate kid/pet friendly techniques. He explained very thoroughly what he was doing and how each piece of what he was doing worked. He used a three prong approach to rid my kitchen of ants. I thought he was very thorough and the ants disappeared.

Prompt response and was very very flexible to accommodate my schedule. Loved the $69 offer. Didn't want to pay a fortune for a few ants.

As advertised. Prompt, professional and no heavy sales pitch to sign up for periodic maintenance.

Ended up having them do two jobs -- and they did great work with both. Very pleased with them in all respects.

Originally, we contacted a big name company in the exterminating business. The big name company was responsive and the cost was big as well. We checked Angie's List and found Brown Exterminating Co. We contacted them 08/13/14. They were even quicker with a response and the price quoted was a third of the first quote from the big name company. 08/15/14, Joe Tanner, the serviceman, showed up when he said he would, he assessed the situation quickly. He said he'd remove the nests and it would be for the amount quoted. He was respectful, informative and efficient. The nests were gone an hour later and he let me know what to expect from the insects in the future. All very helpful. Brown Exterminating treated me well and their serviceman represented them well.

George contacted us within 24 hours of our Angies list purchase. He was very professional and nice to talk with. We scheduled a day for him to come out. He was prompt, knowledgable and through. He gave us some tips to help with pest prevention. We asked him about signing up for regular treatment and to our surprise he said we really didnt need it. You can't get more honest than that. I would recommend George and his company to anyone who wants honest and professional service.

He came once and I never heard from him again. It was good when he came, but I just haven't heard back.

George was a professional all the way from scheduling the appointment to his consultation with us while here. He not only showed up and provided the service, but he showed us things around the outside of the house that create ideal conditions for pests and gave us recommendations on what we can do in those areas. He was courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. We will definitely use Brown Exterminating for our future needs. Their high rating on here is well deserved.

Brown's was very pleasant to work with, though it took a little longer to get scheduled than I expected. There was a little confusion the first time we tried to set up the work, but after we got the confusion straightened out, everything went great. I wasn't home during this exterior treatment, but it seems to have been quite effective.

Ralph Martin has been my professional home inspector for years and I'd like to commend him for his service. He does a thorough inspection and is very helpful in "educating" me on what is out there and what to look for. I find him very knowledgeable of the insect/pest world and he answers every question to my satisfaction. I know whenever I suspect a problem, I can easily contact him and he responds in a very timely manner. He has always been a polite and friendly person and I enjoy talking to him when he visits. I highly recommend him!

I really liked the technician he is really a nice guy, he sprays every thing. He is really very pleasant and nice and i definitely recommended to my friends already.

Mr. Foley was a pleasure to work with. Planning: Mr. Foley came to our house and provided a termite inspection. We explained that we were about to have our crawl space insulated with spray foam and that we wanted a preventative termite treatment before the foam was installed. Mr. Foley offered treatment options and made recommendations of how and where to apply the termite treatment. We selected the options that we wanted. Mr Foley, wrote up a detailed proposal which included a hand drawn outline of the house. For each part of the drawing, he indicated exactly how the treatment was to be applied. This is the kind of proposal we like, very clear. It leaves no room for disagreement about the cost or work to be preformed. Scheduling and Communications: We interviewed three companies and selected Brown. We called Mr. Foley to advise him that we accepted his proposal and scheduled a treatment date. Communications were simple, efficient and friendly. Work: On the morning of the treatment, we received a phone call telling us that the crew would be delayed slightly. The three man crew showed up a little late, but ready to work. They had Mr. Foley's proposal and drawing. We reviewed job with the team leader before they started work. They followed the proposal to the letter. They were efficient, thorough and friendly. They did a good job of cleaning up when the work was complete. We appreciated the phone call saying that they would be a little late. Price: The Brown proposal was considerably more expensive than the other two proposals. However, Brown proposed a much better, and much more labor intensive, application technique. We got what we paid for, and are happy with the job.

He sprayed all around outside; we discussed how wasps were coming into the kitchen; he used the organic treatment. He knocked down one wasp nest. I haven't had any wasps in my kitchen since 5/7; I have had one new wasp nest outside in our entrance foyer. So far, so good.

It went well. Contractor showed up on time as promised and was very professional. He offered a summer promotional plan but was not pushy at all. He was simply informing me that this is an option that I could take part of. The work that was completed was done very well. We have not had any issues with spiders or ants since Brown Exterminating Co came out and treated our property. We would definitely use this company again.

It went well! So far so good. I’ve seen a difference around the house so far. They were very professional and right on time. I didn't smell the normal scent of chemicals like we do with other companies.

He was very professional. Checked house and grounds alerted me to future problems.

They are great. The specialist "George" was very helpfully and very informative. He even gave us information on things that we can do on our own.

Brown's did an excellent job of removing the wasp nests on our many porches and doing a preventitive spray to keep the wasps form returning.

The service was perfect. It was easy to schedule and they arrived quickly. They sprayed inside and outside of my house and they seemed to know what they were doing. I have already recommended them to my parents who have also been pleased.

They were great. They were just very personable and very helpful. Their price is very competitive. They were very responsive.

Staff was professioinal, friendly, and timely

George was on time, answered our questions and sprayed the perimeter of the house. He also noted an issue with the dryer duct while he was under the deck & informed us.

I'm 90% sure that Brown Exterminating did it so I guess I approve of their services. Brown and George came and exterminated them; got rid of them. The price was reasonable.I think they came pretty quickly. They seem to know what they were doing.

Great service. Super nice to work with. Would recommend and will use in the future.
