I am sorry to hear about your problems. However, we do not do flowers at all. I believe you are speaking of another company. Perhaps, Premier Turf and Landscaping. We have been confused with them before. Good luck.

The entire team at PTF was wonderful to work with from initial estimate through final installation. They were able to come out and generate the (free) estimate without requiring us to be at home which was extremely helpful. PTF provided a detailed estimate and answered all of our follow up questions promptly. Installation was scheduled without difficulty and the crew was very professional and did an outstanding job installing the new sod. PTF even went above and beyond and was able to add an additional small area last minute without additional charge. I would highly recommend PTF to any of my friends and neighbors and will be using them again next year for the back yard.

Description of Work: They laid down sod/turf they had grown at their farm (in our front and half of our backyard where our dogs don't roam). They thought the job would take only 6 hours but when it went much longer, they remained cheerful. They also did a wonderful job of cleaning up which I did not expect.

My home sits on a rather steep hill. Because of the grade, my backyard was not only virtually unusable and also a bit unsafe to mow. When Mr. Hatcher came to my home to provide an assessment and estimate, he immediately understood my problems, indicated that the situation was fixable and explained how best my needs could be met. We were both agreed that I wanted the job done right and I only wanted to fix it once. From the outset and throughout the process, Mr. Hatcher was thoroughly knowledgeable, consistently pleasant, and kept me fully informed. He and his work crew were efficient, tidy and professional. It took approximately 1 1/2 workdays, 6 truck loads of fill dirt, one truck load of topsoil, and a whole lot of grass sod to level my backyard. When the work was done, Mr. Hatcher and his crew had created an attractive, usable, and safe back yard for me and my pets. My neighbors are as pleased as I am with the "new look". The price was fair and the workmanship excellent. I highly recommend Premier Turf Farms, LLC.

BEWARE! He seems like such a nice, quiet spoken, likable man. But his work doesn't match his quotes nor his promises. Even his first small job was poorly unorganized, and poorly completed - not enough soil, sod, nor time - and never really completed to specifications. Job #1: Contractor did not arrive with enough soil nor sod. Second load of "soil" was not mineral soil but instead uncomposted horse manure. The last several hours the men were working under lights because it was pitch dark. Even though he promised multiple times to fix the grading and even out the soil, he never did. Job #2: Contractor left hundreds of feet of exposed drainage pipe in ungraded, exposed, lumpy mounds of subsoil, plus left two huge piles of topsoil he had skimmed off field surfaces and put aside. Plus, "his" design to lay pipework, which added cost to initial quote, doesn't work. Fired him for abandoning job. Began work in March. Last seen 5/31 on project #3. He told me not to call him because he would know when fields were dry enough. He never reappeared. He only sent inquiries about payment for incomplete work. Still trying to resolve all issues. Job #3: drainage terrible, landscape cloth laid poorly and incompletely, subsurface gravel not evenly, consistently applied so that it works its way through surface layer throughout entire sacrifice lot. Inappropriate surface caused stone bruises requiring special shoeing and additional farrier appointments. Had to have top surface level regraded. Still some problems. In general, the contractor's quotes were grossly inaccurate. He work was unorganized and untimely. His grading / drainage designs don't function well; he can't acknowledge errors, instead blaming everyone else for his incompetency. When we talked about the problems associated with the sacrifice lot he blamed the drivers unloading the top surface material; he blamed weather; he blamed my care of the lot, and the said that the gravel near the surface must have come from other sources. Never did he acknowledge that the problems might have been his own.
Description of Work: I hired the contractor to perform 3 jobs ... two had unresolved problems after "completion." The contractor abandoned the 3rd job requiring completion from a different contractor. Job A - grading / sodding back lawn. Contractor paid additional $ to provide additional soil to regrade surface of back lawn before installing sod. (End January). Job #2: regrading and providing drainage pipes for two fields. Contractor began in March and stopped job due to wet conditions. Contractor told me he'd return just as soon as the ground dried on 5/31/2014. He never returned to complete job. He only sent me invoice for uncompleted work. I sent him notice end of July firing him and have hired other firms to repair his mess and finish job. Job #3. Contractor hired to make sacrifice lot (to keep horses off pastures during the wet) requiring drainage / grading work, installation of cloth, subsurface gravel, final surface coat. (April / May)

Response from Premier Turf Farms LLC
It has taken me a long time to write a public response to this review. At first I wanted to defend myself and point out all the places I disagreed with her. How we did not abandon her or the job. How, at the sod installation, we had plenty of dirt from a reputable dealer close to her house and that it was all the same; and the number of daylight hours are really beyond my control. And that we came back in the spring and fixed the sunken areas around her newly installed propane tank, replaced sod her dogs tore up (free of charge), and tried to roll it twice. I went into great detail about the grading work we did and why we wanted to wait until summer to finish. But then I realized that my response here is mainly for the other customers who are considering a sod project and looking for a company to work with. I have already written multiple, very lengthy explanations to this customer detailing my actions, estimates, and the weather. I tried for many months to meet with her and finish the job. It saddens me greatly that it has come to this. When I first met her, we had a mutual feeling of connection and I went out of my way to help her with this project and her budget. The potential for problems and mistakes are always there, no matter who you are dealing with. It is how they handle them that matters. And that’s really what it is all about. As you can tell, there were several projects at this one location. Actually, it all started with a straightforward sod installation in her backyard. We accommodated her desire to do it very quickly, once she made a decision. We worked very late on the sod installation in January because of the forecasted storm and we wanted to be sure we finished. The next day we got several inches of snow. We came back at the end of the winter to do the grading that couldn’t be done earlier and she asked if we could install drain pipes as well as grade. Then it all changed again, she wanted to turn a paddock into a stone sacrifice lot. None of that is a problem in and of itself but it makes things more complicated when they change so dramatically during the work being done. I felt that, while the customer was frustrated at delays with the weather that she was, overall, very happy with the work we did. She made me feel like any issues that had come up had been resolved. The last day I was there, May 31st, she and I agreed that it was too wet to finish at that time. And that since I had been purchasing materials for several months and had a lot of hours in, that I would send her a bill for what had been done to date. That is when communication stopped. I wanted to go back and finish but she wouldn’t reply to any of my emails. When I got her letter at the end of July saying that we had abandoned her and detailing why she was unhappy, I was truly aghast. I tried and tried to meet with her. I spoke with the county agent that was involved with the design and inspection of the sacrifice lot (she is getting tax credit to help pay for it) and he was also unaware of any issues. He said he would be happy to meet with both of us and she refused. Finally, in November, she agreed to let me come out to her property. One of her accusations had been that I had charged for a roll of fabric that I never used under the gravel of the sacrifice lot. I ending up digging a hole through inches of gravel to show her it was there. My wife also has horses and I sympathized that her's had had hoof issues but I did not see large stones on top of the bluestone. I thought that visit might be an opening to discuss her other problems but she got even nastier. I am truly sorry that her review is filled with, what seems to me, feelings of being duped. Honestly, what you see is what you get. I am a farmer. My father was a farmer. I have a degree in agronomy and I have decades of experience growing crops and working with the land. I have many years of experience installing sod in all different types of locations and doing the grading and prep work for that sod to be successful long term. I want anybody else who is considering whether Premier Turf Farms is a good fit for them knows that out of the hundreds of jobs we have done, I can not think of even a handful of people who felt this way and, by far, this has been the worst. We are a small company and care about each individual job that we do; we want you to feel good about working with us and be happy when you come home and look out at your yard. And, yes, we would like to be paid when we are done!

Description of Work: Outstanding individuals comprising the company. All focused on a positive customer experience. They measured and installed about 1800 square feet of sod. Everything went perfectly. In for two weeks now and grass growing well and seems anchored as well. Utilized Podio mobile app for project mgmt and information sharing as activities progressed in planning, scheduling and closing out of entire project. Top notch company and quality people.

From the first meeting to come out and give an estimate, Clay was great at answering questions and offering different solutions to the blank canvas that was our back yard. Their estimate was very competitive, particularly given the large scope of work, which included a full day just to regrade our backyard and install new topsoil. Scheduling was very easy and the team coordinated with our irrigation system installer to ensure that everything was done right. After they completed installation they even set three different programs on our irrigation system so that the sod would be properly watered for the crucial first four weeks and then transition to a and quot;normaland quot; schedule thereafter. The install team was meticulous in proper placement, ensuring the irrigation system was giving full coverage to the sod and giving detailed tips on how to care for our sod. If there was something that was helpful, they did it. One of only two contractors we have used that have exceeded our expectations.

We had a small mix up in communication as to the delivery email address of the proposal. A call to the office straightened everything out. When the crew showed up they were about 50% short on sod. It seems a typo when calculating the total sq foot resulted in a mistake both in terms of sod needed but also the price. Again, Premier acknowledged the issue, went back to the farm, cut the rest of the needed sod, and returned several hours later to complete the install. When I insisted they adjust the invoice to reflect what they actually installed vice what they mistakenly shorted (themselves), they refused to accept any additional money stating the price I was to pay was the price they quoted. This was a great example of how to handle things when everything doesn't go perfectly -- something most companies fail miserably on. Regardless of the couple minor issues, I'm rating them with an and quot;Aand quot; across the board as they delivered a high quality product and when issues arose they addressed them in short order, without drama. Highly recommend!

Description of Work: Working with the team at Premier Turfs for sod installation was great from start to finish! They use a great software that allows clients to communicate regularly with staff and to view all activity and progress of the project. Work came in at budget and although it has only been 2 days since installation, we are thrilled about the results. We were able to stay within our budget and to cut costs by doing the prep work ourselves.

Description of Work: We needed fresh fescue sod for our front yard. We planned to install ourselves. I called various sod farms and Premier Turf was very responsive, informative, well-priced and could work within the necessary time frame. The sod delivery was a little later than expected, but phone calls with the office clarified the delivery schedule - I was home all day so it wasn't a serious inconvenience. The quality of sod was very good and I would use their services again.

From the very beginning my experience with PTF was fantastic. From the moment I called to have request an estimate appointment to service completion it only took approximately 1 week. Every employee with whom I communicated was professional and friendly. The crew that came out to do the work were punctual and completely thorough. They watered the new sod as they installed it instead of waiting for the whole job to be complete. They kept the areas in which they were working clean and left the job site spotless. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. One final comment, I am especially honored to leave this feedback because PTF was, by far, the cheapest estimate of the six I received. Because they were almost half as much as the next lowest estimate, I was concerned about the quality of work and material. They certainly did not disappoint me and they counter the old adage and quot;you get what you pay for.and quot; In this case, either the other landscaping companies are over-pricing their services, or PTF is losing money because their service and products are just as good, if not better. I doubt they are losing money... If my yard cost a lot less to sod than what my neighbors paid other companies (for relatively the same square footage), and my yard looks just as good as, if not better than, my neighbors' yards, you decided. I have more work to do in my backyard and will certainly look no further. Premier Turf Farms is my choice!!!
Description of Work: Premier Turf Farms hand graded, removed rocks, installed top soil and new sod in my front and side yard. They also spread lyme throughout the new and existing sod.

Clay came out and did an onsite inspection of the property and gave me a quote. After agreeing on price, Clay and his two helpers came out on a Saturday morning (within a week of agreeing on the details) and spent about 4 hours doing the work. Clay was very thorough and ensured the the job was done right. There was more mulch than he anticipated, but he stuck to his price and did an excellent job. Clay is a very personable guy and spent time after the job walking me through what needed to be done to take care of the sod and ensure it's a successful installation. Clay also gave advice on other areas where I wanted sod, but said that I'd be better off with seed. He recommended the seed type and where to get it (instead of just upselling me on more sod). I called a variety of other sod farms and landscapers and Clay was by far the best and was priced very competitively.
