It went fantastic! Hartley builds entire homes so their roofers where able to get some advice on how to fix the chimney and were able to do it without demolishing the whole thing. They but a huge dumpster in our driveway on a Wednesday. Their crew showed up the next day at 7am and worked into the afternoon. They spread tarps out all around the house to prevent debris from becoming an issue. They hoped to be finished by Friday (we have a detached garage so it was a pretty big job) but rain forced a delay into the next week. They showed up Monday and nearly finished up everything. They had to have a specialist come out and do the last bit of stonework on the chimney but in the end everything was awesome. They did a great job of cleaning up all the debris and were very helpful when we had to move some of their tools to get our dogs out for their walk. Their bid was thousands less than the next higher bid and including fixing the chimney. I am very happy with all aspects of their work. Price, timeliness and craftsmanship were all top notch. No more leaks!

From quote to final payment and after to tweek a few things, Hartley Home Exteriors was great. Price was what we budgeted (two other quotes were outrageous) and working with Brian, Todd and Lisa was easy. Couldn't have asked for a better experience and our home looks brand new!

Couldn't have expected better. Professional and conscientious. As an example, they removed and protected several pieces of antique furniture and a hutch full of valuable pottery and china. Everything was dusted, returned to its proper place, and arranged as before.

The garage was quickly dismantled and all the debris was carried away. The new garage looks so nice and matches our house, which the old garage did not. We have had a lot of wonderful compliments on the new garage.

They were prompt and attentive, even during the busy holiday season. It was a pretty big job and they kept me in the loop at every step of the way. They are a courteous, patient and helpful.

Contractor was FANTASTIC! They came out with the insurance adjuster to assess the damage. They successfully worked with the adjuster to ensure that everything that needed to be covered was indeed covered. When it was time to do the work, the team was prompt, on-time, and they finished the roof in a single day (it is a 2700 sq foot home). They left a clean work site and did a terrific job! I highly recommend Hartley Home Exteriors (AKA Hartley Home Builders)!

My husband and I solicited 6 different quotes for our basement project. Of those quotes, Hartley was about half the cost of the other contractors while still maintaining a superior work product. We hired them to do the framing, electrical, plumbing, tile, carpet, drywall, etc. They built out a bathroom from our existing rough-in & also added a small kitchenette/wet bar. Our basement was completely unfinished with only a few lights/outlets & insulation on the walls. They were very prompt to respond to our questions and changes (we had a lot of them mid-project). At one point my husband and I noticed a few electrical outages in the upper portion of our home. We thought it might have to do with the electrical work that was done. So, I wrote Brian an e-mail on July 4 & received a quick response and in a matter of hours he was at our house & had everything working and checked out. The best part is- the "issues" weren't anything to do with our basement remodel. He helped us fix other issues that weren't even part of the project AND ON A HOLIDAY WEEKEND! I have already recommended them to friends and neighbors and will continue to do so. Whether you are just building out your basement or building your entire home from the ground up, make Hartley your first call. You will be very glad you did!

I contacted Hartley Builders to schedule an estimate and the following day the owner Brian stopped by. Very prompt. After receiving the estimate the work was schedule the next day. The work was exceptional as was the customer service. Very happy with the end result and would not hesitate to use them again in the future!

Out of the three companies I contacted for an estimate, Hartley Home Exteriors was the only one who offered to work directly with my insurance company. They were able to schedule a time to replace my roof within days. They completed the whole roof replacement in one day. They were able to figure out what was causing a leak and repaired all of the damage. The clean up was impeccable and my roof is perfect. A contractor from Hartley Home Exteriors was sent to repair the drywall damage and repaint. He was very personable and completed the work in a very timely manner. I am very impressed with the professionalism of this company. Everyone I met with was very kind and helpful. They went way beyond what I expected and helped me negotiate with the insurance company with great success. I appreciate all of their hard work! I can recommend this company with no reservations.

The roofers showed up on time and started work right away. Even though we had cold weather, they worked long hours to get the job done. Unexpected damage was noted in the underlying plywood, which was brought to our attention immediately. They fixed that and then continued to finish the job. When everything was completed, they also cleaned up. Overall, they did an excellent job and we would use them again!

The siding repair went incredibly well. The siding that blew off the house was able to be re-used which was a concern that I had with matching up to the exiting siding. The repair was quick, convenient because our tenant did not need to be there, and seamless. After the repair, you cannot tell there was prior damage. Highly recommended!
