HORRIBLE UNPROFESSIONAL WORKERS. Landscape work is decent, but workers continually leave fence gates open after performing work, endangering multiple pets including mine and many of my neighbors. I and many of my neighbors have brought this to the attention of upper management MULTIPLE TIMES and the workers still continue to leave gates wide open without any regard for the safety of pets. We have been pleased with their landscaping for over 20 years but this continued negligence and reckless disregard for common courtesy and respect for their customer's homes is absurd. The fact that we even have to request that they close the gate in the first place displays their ambivalence and disrespect, and the fact that it continues to happen is beyond despicable. I am not the type of person who ever writes these reviews, but after my dogs getting out and today finding my neighbor's elderly dog in the middle of the street. I cannot in good conscience not warn future customers about the potential danger they could be putting their pets in. They are mostly consistent with their weekly days of operation so I always keep a close eye out on that day, but if there is ever a holiday or in-climate weather which causes the usual day to change I am left in the dark. I don't believe as a customer I should have to check my two fence gates each time before I let my dogs out to play in my own backyard. We have brought this to their attention multiple times, and I can't imagine my neighborhood is the only site where this negligence occurs.

OK they cut lawn every Tuesday.

The equipment they use to cut the grass is big and will tear up a lawn that is being watered. They will not pick up any sticks prior to cutting so these get chopped up as they cut the grass. Weed control is nonexistent. I am not sure what they sprayed but the beds and lawn are loaded with weeds. In addition they will tell you aeration is coming in the next week only to send you emails the weather has caused delays. They sent an email early fall saying they were coming to aerate/seed in the coming week. 3 1/2 weeks passed, numerous phone calls and emails were written to get them to come. They showed up late fall to aerate/seed and we missed the primary growing season. Also be very careful to completely understand the contract. Leaf removal means cutting the grass and mulching the leaves into the grass. They are not hauling them away until the last pick up. Bed maintenance is spraying for weeds. They will not pick up anything in your beds unless they pruned and are cleaning up. Will definitely not renew my contract at year end.

Our grass looks pretty lush and full. They perform leaf removal in the fall, cut our crete myrtles (-sp?), seed the lawn, put pre-emergent weed killer, and keep our ivy manageable.

Service contract started in June 2014. Went with Mike after interviewing/getting estimates from three others. His overall plan was compariable to the others and was cost efficient for the amount of services provided. My yard was not to my standard when I purchased in May; I had received a violation letter from my HOA because of the weeds in beds, etc. Mike and his crews (landscaping and turf) have been very responsive to getting my lawn up to speed, quickly. I have nicely pruned shrubbery and lawn service every Tuesday. I was able to replace my chemial treament company because it's included in his annual contract. I know all of these companies are busiest this time of year, but Mike has always called me back within 24 hours.

It could not have gone better. We hired them to do the landscaping, which was done before we expected. We also hired them take care of our property year-round. I would highly recommend Robson Landscaping.

We could not be more pleased with their service. The cost is reasonable and they are absolutely prompt and reliable.

They take care of everything, always show up when they say they will, are respectful of home and my family, and are friendly and polite.

Robson uses a nice looking brown mulch. They came by one day to put piles of mulch by the areas to be mulched. The next day they came to spread the mulch. Our yard looks terrific. The colors of the plants and flowers just "pop" so well due to this mulch. Also, the edging that they do looks very good. It looks like our lawn is somewhat sculpted. We are very satisfied Robson lawn care customers. We pay a monthly fee to have our lawn completely taken care of as specified in their schedule of work. This includes weekly mowing, several fertilizer and weed control treatments, pruning of certain trees and bushes, aeration, and more. This is the best lawn care company we have worked with in the Richmond area.

Before we signed a contract they promised to provide full service only to tell us later that they don't do this, don't do that, and by the way this is also not included into full service. They had crews of people that do not speak English run through the yard with a speed of light without paying any attention to what is going on. Our yard had weeds all over flower beds they would never clean the flower beds up. When I call and complain about it they say that our contract has 6 weed sprays a year and they have done that and they are not going to do extra work to clean the weeds. Several times I had to show them the borders of our property only for them to not pay any attention and leave yards of our border line not taken care of, that p***** of our neighbors. They were leaves out to the back of our property where we have a stripe of forest with a creek. While doing that they broke our chicken wire fence and never repaired it. While blowing leaves of the deck they several times blew off children's toys and anything that was on the deck and never bothered to pick it up. Several times they blew the dirt all over our garage and my husbands car while blowing leaves out and never apologized. Our front yard started looking atrocious with bold spots all over and they never did anything to bring it back. We started getting negative comments from the neighbors. We finally got so tired of their poor service and fired them on first week of January. It happened that their crew was on site that particular day. All they did was blowing trash of our deck. Imagine how surprised we were to receive the bill for full monthly fee. My husband disagreed and offered them to pay 25% of the monthly fee, which is 1 week of work. Instead of getting back to us they filed this bill with a collection agency. Not only they destroyed our lawn, broke our back chicken wire fence, billed us for services they have NOT provided and filed with collection agency while we were trying to reason with them, they keep harassing us with bills that they have filed for collection. This company is a perfect example of poor customer service and total lack of professionalism.

They also do some little extra stuff that we may ask like mulch. They have been pretty phenomenal and we have had them since 2008. They are very punctual and they lawn looks great. They always come on Tuesday with their crew. They get the lawn done within probably 20 minutes. We have an average size lawn. They clean up everything. He gave me a deal when we signed the contract.

We are very pleased so far with the work that Robson Landscaping and Turf is doing. When we first entered into the contract with them in February, Mr. Robson spent time walking around the yard with my husband to understand what needed trimming. Within the next day or so, our crepe myrtle trees and bushes had been trimmed. Our yard looked better right away. In March/April, they have applied fertilizer and weed killer to the lawn. As specified in their contract, the lawn is now being mowed weekly. The lawn looks great and our yard looks well maintained. My husband and I are delighted that the items specified in the contract are done as scheduled. We do not need to pick up the phone to remind the company of anything. What a pleasure!

Contacted Mike Robson by email and received a written quotation in person within a few days. Next door neighbor and I both executed contracts for full-service including weekly mowing. Crew (4 men and well-maintained equipment) arrive every week at the appointed time give or take a half-hour, do an excellent job, and are gone within a half-hour or so. The crew works hard and efficiently and are polite and professional. All areas, including patio, deck, walkways, driveway, and curb area are blown clean before they leave. The yard always looks great when they finish. So far, they have done mowing/edging/trimming/blowing and some weed control only, with seeding, aeration, and fertilization to start in September. The crew chief is knowledgeable and has provided satisfactory answers to all my questions. Mike Robson is readily available by telephone or email to resolve any issues although none has arisen so far. Their monthly invoicing is very professionally done and accurate so far. In short, Robson is a professional outfit that charges a fair price for quality service.

This price is to mow my lawn, which is about 1/3 of an acre. They are wonderful. Their prices are reasonable. They are very reliable. I will continue to use them in the future and would recommend them to others.
