They were wonderful. The price was higher, but the quality of the work was much better than a competitor. They were professional and prompt. We had issues with scheduling, but that was because of the weather. They were excellent.

After an estimate and quality check, the contractor replaced our front porch railing and siding with all-seasonal plastic molding. The entire project took 2-3 days, and overall it looks great. My only concern was that there was almost a 4-6 week delay from when we approved the estimate to when the work was actually performed. All team members were professional and the work was done to our specifications think the price paid was a little on the high side, but overall we were pleased with this upgrade to our house front. Would recommend this group again for future exterior work.

The salesperson did a nice job with the presentation, as well as showing me their product, however they were significantly more expensive than the 3 other places that I had out to give me estimates. They came in right at $13,000, while the other three places ranged between $8,600 and $9,400. Given the price disparity, I couldn't go with them.

The experience with them was excellent. Their pricing was competitive. They did excellent work and finished on time. They cleaned up everything every day. They made sure every nail was picked up daily. The crew was super nice. We have had numerous compliments on the work they did for us.

When they came out to perform the estimate, they listened to our wants/needs and took the time to explain all our options. They walked us through the pros and cons of our choices,. I really felt like they were partners in helping us make the right decisions. We had 3 companies come out to provide estimates. One representative from another company upon hearing we had already talked to Lonestar said he was not even going to bother trying to explain anything to us about their products since we "knew it all already." The comparison in the estimate process between the 2 companies helped us make our choice - Lonestar! The team arrived promptly each day, and were very nice. They were very professional, and cleaned up the yard completely every day before they left. We were extremely impressed by the quality of the work! Their work was very detailed. On the vinyl siding, the detail around the dryer vents, electrical sockets, doors and light fixtures was amazing! I was nervous about the window replacement process. I had heard horror stories from friends about how dirty the inside of the house got during the process. I had nothing to worry about! Once the windows were in, one team member came in the house and vacuumed up any debris (not that there was much) and cleaned all the windows. I had zero clean up to perform behind them. The porch rails are my favorite part of "my new house!" They are beautiful. They planned ahead, and poured concrete to anchor the rails down a few days before installation to ensure there was plenty of time for the concrete to set. No corners were cut with this job! I am completely satisfied with every employee I worked with through the process. Everyone was professional and wanted to ensure we were happy. The President of the company even came out to the house to help out with the job one day! This was a great experience! I highly recommend Lonestar for ANY house project.

From the meeting with Bobby to the completion overview with Shawn this was a great experience. I would and have recommended Lonestar to co workers and friends. I had such a good initial meeting, they were definately in the running for my business. Bobby didn't waste my time, like others, bad mouthing the competition, he told me what Lonestar could do, and showed me. Ladies, I met with Bobby one afternoon, my husband was unable to be there (and trusts me to make decisions anyway). Instead of treating me like a "girl" I was treated with respect. All of my questions were answered and I felt no pressure to decide. I did interview several other companies, with a couple I felt pressured, treated like I didn't have common sense and rushed. Shawn came out and measured each window opening and set up the tentative installation date. If Mother Nature had cooperated, they would have been done in a day. The crew was extremely polite and worked efficiently. The windows look and work beautifully. When we put new doors (5) on the house, you can bet I'll call Lonestar. Thank you guys!

The experience from beginning to end with the company could not have been better. Robert arrived on time to present a bid. He was knowledgeable and professional and was aware of my time restraints. He presented the job in detail and gave me an estimate. He indicated that if "lead" was found, which in such an old house it would most likely be the case, that I would have to pay an additional amount for the windows because of the extra install time. I selected Lonestar, although they were not the least expensive, but rather in the middle of the three quotes. They presented their company the best of the three in such a highly competitive business. Each step of the way was easy. They did everything EXACTLY as they said they would from Bid to Completion of Job. In addition, they had about 7 or 8 employees working the entire day and left my home, inside and out - debris free! That was a treat ( I am a clean-freak) and very unexpected from that many men roaming around... It rained later in the day and what a joy not to experience any "leaks". Plus - to my surprise, my windows look as if they came with the house - just cleaner and fresher. A week later, Shawn came to show me how to operate my windows. This company is grand...

They were very good in terms of the estimate, and their estimated price was $18,700. I have not decided whether or not to use them because I am still getting estimates. I would consider using them again in the future.

Showed up on time and finished on schedule, despite bad weather. A couple of minor items needed to be addressed, but they were very responsive and kept their promise to stay on the job till we were 100% satisfied.

I am not going to go with them as they are very expensive. I called them for a quote because they had good rating on Angie’s list. They were very professional and I liked the fact that their installers are their employees and they do not have subcontractors. I did not go with them only because of the price.

Great, called them in Nov, hoping to get the work done by yr-end for energy tax credit. Paid extra for non-white exterior frame & sash/sill. They scheduled it for 12/27 & 28 and were there on time and finished on time. Had a few screens that didn't fit just right (we had 15 windows exactly the same and 3 that were1/4 inch different). They had to reorder, so it took a couple weeks, but now we have 3 extra screens when needed.

I could not be happier. It took a long time for me to make my decision and they were patient. The quote was accurate. They delivered on time even given my last minute request to have it done before the end of the year and right before Christmas. During the whole process they were communicative and did great work. I love my new windows and would definitely use them again.

Lonestar did an excellent job. Their bid was a bit more expensive than some of the other bids. But I choose Lonestar because: 1. Lonestar's staff were very polite, friendly, and professional from the beginning. Everyone was nice to me, including the salesman, the installation manager, and the guys installing the windows. 2. Lonestar did not require any money up front and made sure I was completely satisfied with the windows before mailing me a bill. 3. Lonestar installed the Simonton windows which are high quality and made in the USA. The installation went very smoothly. The new windows were caulked and sealed well and fit perfectly. I'm very pleased. When I replace the rest of the windows in my house, Lonestar will be my first choice and I will probably use them again.

They were very easy to work with and they did a good job. I would recommend them.

The estimate they gave me was for $13,000 to $15,000 for that work. They were friendly and not pushy at all. They were informative and experienced. The reason we did not go with them was that the windows that they carry were just too big for the frames and were reducing the amount of glass on the windows. I am considering using them for the siding work though. Their responsiveness was extremely good. They were on time every time. They were highly professional.

From the initial visit and estimate to the job's completion, they were prompt, courteous, professional, and did what they promised to do when they promised it. The onsite crew was very respectful of our property and our dog - they made sure to close the gate so the dog couldn't get out, didn't track in any dirt (despite working on muddy ground) when coming in to use the downstairs bathroom, didn't leave ANY debris after finishing the job, took away all the old materials (screening, doors, railing). They called to let us know they were on their way both mornings (it was a two-day job), got right down to work, and worked apparently non-stop until they were done.

Frank was respectful and kind when he came out to estimate repairs on our leaky sunroom. While his company did not receive our business because a competing bid & building plan was more suited to our needs, we would certainly consider Lonestar the next time we needed windows or siding.

I had several contractors come talk to me about new vinyl siding for my home. The company owner came out from Lone Star and was extremely professional and straight forward with me on his proposal. There was no hard sell at all from this contractor. I decided to go with Lone Star and am highly pleased with the work that was done. They started the job exactly when they said they would and all the workers did quality work and payed close attention to detail. Later on, I used my grill too close to the house and one panel buckled fom the heat. I called Lone Star and the guy who was my job manager came right over to replace it. I highly recommend using this company if you're looking for high quality work.

Great experience with Lonestar! Out of the three Angie's List companies that I considered for this work, this company would have been my second choice.

They are yet to do the work, but I love what they have shown me so far. I got four estimates, and theirs was the best by far. They were wonderful. They explained everything in full detail when they came out. They worked with me and answered all my questions too. I really liked them.

From the estimate to the final inspection (both done by the owner), we could not be more pleased. Material was delivered and the worker's showed up when they said they would. If they were going to be late, they always called. They did an excellent job, and the building looks like new.
