The crew was top of the line. They arrived every day on the dot and I never had to worry if they understood the mission. They came in at 8 but my dogs and I slept until 9 or 10. This crew knew all the details and were very skilled in doing the work. It was a case of complete trust. They.Cleaned up after themselves every day. They put everything back in place. They could not have been any better. When I wanted to remove an eyesore kerosene tank, they even loaded that on the recipient's truck for me. The resulting house is gorgeous!You can feel safe if they are doing the job that your house will be in good hands. Normally after contractors have invaded your life for 3 weeks you are glad to see them go. We were glad to see them finish our now beautiful house, but we were also sad to see them go. While they were here they were so helpful that If I had 100 houses that needed windows, doors, and siding they would get the job every time. LONESTAR Windows and siding is the way to go for quality work and no baby sitting required! A full A++.

Lonestar was by far the lowest estimate I received to add siding to my home. In addition, they replaced a large, off-sized window. The work was done promptly and I have no complaints about the crew. One piece of the siding did come off about a month later, but when we called they came out and repaired it within 2 days. Overall, I recommend.

Absolutely problem and stress free. I have a special needs daughter and was not able to check out every detail. I didn't need to because everything was taken care of by Lone Star, turn key project. I highly recommend Lone Star.

Angie’s list was invaluable in helping us finally find one contractor that could do all of the work we wanted done. It was very important that our 7 projects used top-grade materials that would be installed professionally, in logical installation sequence. We started looking for contractors for our home projects in 2010. After more than three years, we are finally done and extremely pleased with the results. We conducted a every extensive and time consuming contractor vetting process that included countless meetings/phone calls, BBB checks, reference interviews and job site visits and after two unsuccessful years, in 2013 we decided to try Angie’s List. We found several possibilities but chose Lonestar. While our vetting process was long and tedious, the benefit was that we learned something from almost every contractor (good or bad) and reference we met. We finally found what we were looking for: One contractor with an excellent reputation and quality of work that could do our roof, siding, deck, entry door, front porch, windows and gutters We met Robert from Lonestar on Jun 13. He provided the original proposals. After meeting with other contractors and obtaining references, we vetted the other contractors and Lonestar by making extensive site visits to see previous projects and to meet with their references. We were very impressed by what every Lonestar customer had to say as well as how good their project(s) looked. Lonestar appeared to be best suited to our needs so we met and called Greg Paul (Vice President) many times over the next several weeks to make product selections, work out details for each of the 7 projects and to negotiate prices. We were very pleased with Greg’s knowledge and professionalism and finalized our proposals the first week of July. Roof. This was the first project performed by a sub-contracted roofing crew. They began work 11 Sep, removed and installed new Timberline shingles. It took 3 days to complete work on the house and shed. While the roofers worked very hard and appeared to do good work, we had to intervene several times to stop or delay work - they installed 4 vents in the wrong places and had to remove and reinstall them correctly, etc. Additionally, the roofers were sloppy and did only a fair job cleaning up each day. They were especially bad the last day. The roofers worked into the dark each night, which concerned us for safety and quality of work reasons. We expressed these and other concerns, as well as our disappointment to Greg several times. It was fortunate we were home when the roof was being installed because we had to get directly involved by stopping work, questioning what the work crew was doing and having the crew leader call his supervisor to clarify exactly what work was to be done. We called Greg directly about our concerns a few times. To his credit, Greg was honest about the fact Lonestar had only recently started doing roofing – he told us this before we finalized the proposal and because of how impressed we were with every one of his references, we decided to go with Lonestar. Regarding the roof job, Greg made it right by us by addressing every concern we had. For these reasons, we rated Lonestar a “C” for the roof. The crew for all of the other projects (siding, windows, window wrap and sealing, porch, deck and door was all done by Steve (Lead), Corey and Andrew. They worked from mid-Sept until they completed all of our projects, then addressed each of our concerns regarding the roof. We met with Greg to finalize our bill the third week of Nov 2013. We never did get to meet the gutter installer but he installed our new gutters in one day and did a very good job. We did find a few small leaks and one adjustment and know Greg will take care of these when we notify him. Greg and Steve addressed every single item on our punch list. In addition, Lonestar offered special financing that we were eligible for (no interest for 1 year) and took advantage of. The composite insulated siding from Exterior Portfolio Crane Solid Core D7 premium insulated vinyl siding is excellent! We saw this product and another well known cement siding at numerous job sites/references we visited. The Solid Core not only looks better than the cement siding, you can’t tell it is Solid Core unless you are standing right in front of it! Where we saw this product used by other Lonestar and contractors, every customer was very pleased. In fact, we changed our minds because of what we saw and heard at the many job sites we visited and saw both cement and Solid Core. We saw several job sites where installation of cement siding was clearly lacking in quality of installation and workmanship. We were surprised that the Exterior portfolio composite vinyl insulated siding product was extremely competitive in pricing with cement siding but offered much more because it has significantly reduced outside noise (mowers/blowers), our heating (and we expect our cooling) costs with its insulation, it is more impact resistant that cement, never required painting and best of all, it just looks better! We are confident the insulation has reduced our heating bill along with our 34 new windows, new door and our new GAF shingled roof that is now properly ventilated with ridge vents and roof vents. Additionally, our new triple-pained windows provide better insulation and security for our home. We were never pressured and Greg and his work crews were always considerate. We asked Greg and Steve for their professional/personal opinions many times and were grateful for their comments and advice. In a couple of instances we modified our proposals to have more work done or modified based on their input and are very happy we did! Overall, we are VERY pleased with good folks at Lonestar and even more pleased with how our home looks (and saves energy costs) now!!

From the sales staff to the installers, everyone I worked with at Lonestar Siding and Windows was a complete professional. They quoted me a fair price with an Angie's List discount for siding, shutters, new gutters, replacement windows, and repairs on my front porch. I had to wait about seven weeks for them to start on the project, but that was because they had so much work in the pipeline. When they began the renovation, they finished ahead of schedule with quality results. Greg Paul was a joy to work with and kept me informed about scheduling on different parts of the job. He walked the property with me after the project was done to complete a final evaluation of the work and sent someone back the next week to take care of a couple of minor fixes. My house looks amazing and I would recommend them highly.

We love our new roof and siding . Everything from the quote to the final inspection was done in a professional manner. There was a mix up with the supplier but Frank provided multiple updates which we greatly appreciated . We couldn't be happier with the completed project and will hire Lonestar again.

We found Lonestar on Angie's List and we were not disappointed. Everything went exceptionally well. We had a lot of weather related delays (very rainy spring/summer this year) which was out of everyone's control, so we got off to a late start. Steve's team was amazing and Greg Paul was exceptional at keeping us in the loop the entire time. The professionalism of this company is one not often found these days. At the end of each day, they totally cleaned up everything, including sweeping the driveway behind the house. (I joked it was cleaner while they were here than it normally is!) You couldn't find a stray nail, piece of trash, or any equipment anywhere! After the windows were installed, they were completely cleaned off and the area around each window vacuumed. I came home from work to find all the windows installed with no clean up necessary. (I had heard horror stories about this process from friends that used other companies.) One of the windows (cherry wood laminate) had a small scratch on it. Steve said he would not install it and ordered a new one. My husband said he had to look hard to find the scratch and was pleased that Steve not only found it, but was proactive in getting it replaced. We had to wait a while on that window and the front door and even then, no money changed hands. Greg meant it when he said we did not pay until we were totally satisfied. The quality of work is excellent. We created a punch list for our "walk around". We had three minor items on our list. Greg had several pages on his! (Including a few handprints on the siding that he wanted them to come back and clean up!) We were very impressed with Greg's work ethic. As he said, it's their name on the sign and he wants it to be right. We had three separate estimates done for this job. One was much cheaper, but when I spoke to several people on their reference list I found a great deal of dissatisfaction. The other company was slightly higher. Robert Tabler did a great job explaining the products they would be using and answered all of my questions. He had samples with him and was able to work up the price while he was there. We did go top of the line on the windows and doors which added to the price as well. We have lived her for 24 years and the house needed a major facelift. We love the new look! I believe in the adage - you get what you pay for. We have learned that over the years the hard way. This is the kind of job where you want it to be the best it can be - Lonestar made that happen. Could not be more pleased!

They came out very promptly and gave me as estimate of what it would take to do the work. The workers that came out were very, very nice and very professional. They did a great job. I ended getting the whole thing for an absurdly low number. With the Big Deal and everything, I think they actually lost money building my deck. They very cheerfully did the work for me and they did a really very, very nice job. They had some real special details that they did where they kind of picture frame out the corners. Bringing the wood together in the corners looks very, very nice. They completely the whole job very quickly. They got all the permits done and it was just a very smooth job.

i work they did on our son's home will be repeated on our home. I personally recommended this company to a co-worker who used them and he said he was thoroughly please with the price and quality of work, will use them again and has already recommended them to his neighbors and friends. If you are considering siding, doors, or awnings on your home we would recommend you at least give them a chance to give you an estimate and you will be also impressed as to how they explain the products and service they provide. A great company.

Everything was great from start to finish. Work was done neatly and on time and price stayed exactly as qouted.

Lonestar is the best! We had a great experience from start to finish and our house is gorgeous! From a super speedy initial return phone call to Robert the courteous and knowledgeable salesman, to Greg the Vice President to Jang and the crew, everyone was professional and hardworking. They answered all our questions and were available in person, by phone and email. We never had to wait! From our initial appointment at the end of September, work started by mid-November and was completed within two weeks (including Thanksgiving right in the middle!). We had to be out of town for several of the work days and we felt comfortable and confident with the guys working and keeping an eye on things for us. Greg stayed in touch and sent us pictures of the progress while we were away which really reassured us. Towards the end of the project, we added some decorative trim to a big window. Greg was immediately able to give me an estimate and examples to pick from. It was ordered immediately, delivery took a little longer than expected, but once they had it, we had it and it really finished the look of the house. Greg did a final walk around and filled a bag with any small bits of yard debris he found leftover from the major cleanup the crew did. We are still finding nails (which we were warned about and expected), but once everything was finished besides the beautiful work, you could never tell there was a crew working! The porch was completed and the quality and craftsmanship is stunning. I love that our two year old can play on it and I'm no longer worried about splinters. The crew was also able to happily replace our doorbell and all exterior lights (even the security lights way up high!). I bought the lights and doorbell and they took care of the rest. Greg recommended getting LED for the security lights up high and it was a great call, hopefully it will be a long, long time before they need to be replaced. When it comes time for a new roof for us, Lonestar will be our only call!

The crew was on time, they were professional and did a beautiful job on all aspects of our home improvements. They were very reasonably priced.

The representatives from Lone Star were punctual, courteous, and knowledgeable. We were given a number of options for siding for our house. We were talking with several contractors about the project. The people from Lonestar were helpful, willing to answer my many questions without being pushy. Once we selected Lonestar, Greg worked closely with us to ensure our needs were met. The work crew was punctual and courteous, and they cleaned up after themselves daily. They addressed all issues we had to our satisfaction, working with us until they were sure we were happy with the product.

They were great!! From the initial consultation to the final day on the job. Everything looks great!! Would definitely recommend them to anyone!!

Frank Paul was professional & competent in his work and during all of our interactions. He came to my house & provided an estimate within a couple of days of my first contact with him. There were multiple holes in the vinyl siding on two walls of my house caused by flying tree bark. Mr. Paul was unable to track down the exact type of siding that was on the house (neither was another contractor that I talked to), but I had a few extra strips that were left over from the original siding job. Mr. Paul said that we could either buy new siding and paint it to match or we could use the extra strips and cut and replace pieces where the holes were. We decided on the patch job b/c it would have been tough to match paint to our current siding. Mr. Paul described in detail how he would make the repair and what the pros & cons of that approach would be. He finished the work in one morning and even came back after lunch to tack up a couple of pieces of siding that had become unsecured on the front of my house. His work looked great and the patches blend in seamlessly with the rest of the siding; I never notice the patchwork when looking at the house. I would definitely use this company in the future for any work that they would do, no complaints. Also, this was a smaller job that other contractors didn't want to bother with, so I particularly appreciated his willingness to do this job for us. The final cost for the job was exactly the amount of the estimate I had been given and was very close to what insurance was willing to cover, so no nasty surprises on cost.

Lonestar's Customer Service was as good as it gets. It started with the Salesman and then we spokewith the Owner and when the installers came out they could not have been more Customer Freindly.

The response time from the initial call was quick. An appointment was set up to discuss color and type of glass etc. Once I had placed an order, Greg Paul (Vice President) came back to remeasure (just to be sure). I was given a lead time of 10-12 weeks, and in fact received a call within 7 weeks. The installers were respectful and professional. I had to have my doorbell removed, these guys patched up the hole so all I have to do it smooth it over and prime. Would do business with them again in a heartbeat.

Mr. Tabler was very nice, very courteous. I loved everything he said about the building/design of the deck. He also left reviews for people that had used their company in the past, starring the customers that had used them specifically for decks. We didn't chose this company because of the price and because when I looked at the estimate it was not specific about what each part was going to cost so I couldn't understand why their estimate was more than double of anyone else we got estimates from. The original total was $7,835 for a wooden 21' x 12' deck. Because I'm an Angie's List customer I received 20% off. That still put our total at $6268 which was $3500 more than what we ended up paying for a deck that is exactly what we wanted. Mr. Tabler did do a follow up call after our estimate and he sounded surprised to hear that his estimate was more than double of any other estimate we received. I have to say, getting multiple estimates sure did save us a lot of money. I would definitely include this company to give us estimates in the future, like I said, their company seemed top notch from what I saw.

Called Greg, he looked at job, gave me a quote. Returned the following week and completed the job. Great no hassle service.

My experience with Lonestar was great from start to finish. After receiving quotes from two other companies, I decided to use Lonestar for a few reasons. First, the quote process was easy. The other two companies wasted 3 hours minimum of my time and were all about the hard sell and drama. Lonestar had my measurements done while I was at work and met me after work to discuss the details. Second, the other companies had lots of "upgrades" meaning that different sizes and styles of siding were different prices, including the type of shutters I picked. Lonestar siding prices are the same no matter what you pick, same for shutters. Lastly, I needed a door replaced. The other companies told me it was an odd sized opening, would require a special door and it would be expensive. Lonestar measured it and stated it was a standard door and gave me a much less expensive price. The installation process was very good as well. The installers were very courteous and asked me each day if I ilked how it looked and if I had questions. Their work is meticulous and very professional. The white trim even has a custom molding look which I really like. The gutters and down spouts were installed last and look and work great. I am very happy with Lonestar's courteous manner and professionalism. I would use them again and recommend them to everyone.

Simply put Excellent Service. If you have an issue Frank and his team will fix it right the first time and do it when they say they will and stand behind the work after it is finished. How many other companies can you say that about. Very professional company. Explain exactly how they planned to level my deck. All costs involved and went out and did exactly that. Have not had a problem with the deck since. Replacement siding - no issue. Small job but came out out and fixed the issue. Even found and ordered siding for me to match the house. Outstanding company!!

The crew was responsive and considerate of my schedule. Windows were installed first and the men were very professional cleaned up after each stage of the job. Siding is amazing and the attention to detail was meticulous. Gutters with caps last and again the workmanship was perfect. We have received so many compliments from our neighbors, all wishing they had called Lonestar.
