Junk King Central Virginia

I was able to schedule same day service. The workers called and were in the area and came within 90 minutes. Gave me a fair estimate, got my $30 discount for scheduling online. The workers were in and out with my huge sectional sofa in a flash. They were friendly and cordial, and in uniform. Sure, I could have done this with my minivan and two or three trips to the dump with my husband, but my old bones can't take that any more. Great Job! My back thanks you!

Not only did JunkKings respond to request right away, they showed up for the appointment promptly at the time we scheduled. Three gentlemen in uniforms hopped out of the truck. Introduced themselves. Asked where the items were. Assessed the cost to haul it all away. Once the price was agreed upon, they got to work. I relaxed on the front porch as they hauled and hauled and hauled. Lol! They worked quickly and quietly. In less than 30 minutes they were done. They even swept! I would certainly hire them again. Great guys.

Price went up with addition of box springs. I didn't expect that.

The day of, they called to see if they could come early because they were running ahead of schedule for the day. That actually worked better for me anyway. They arrived, introduced themselves, looked at what we had, and gave me a quote. After I accepted the quote, they went to work and finished quickly and safely.

They worked hard, but removed the entire thing and cleaned up every bit of it. Highly recommend!

The gentlemen were very kind, well dressed, and well spoken. I have to admit that I was a bit confused with regards to the cost of the service. On Angies list, it said that the price was for 1/8 of a load, but on the coupon that wasn't mentioned. So I was caught a bit off guard when the $110 job actually ended up being $258. I think that the coupon itself needs to show that it is only for 1/8 of a load. It currently just says $110 for Junk Hauling and Removal, and no place on the coupon does it say the limitations. I think I didn't read closely enough, but still think better information on the coupon would have made me feel better when they said it would cost more than twice what I expected. I would use them again.

This is my experience which lead to absolute total satisfaction with the company from use of their website, corporate contacts, local personal owner contacts and of course the Team which completed the project. Here it is plain and simple from another businessman's highly critical point of view as I say to Junk-King: You 'DO' what you say you are going to 'DO,' when you say you are going to 'DO' it. You treat the customer with the respect and honest integrity one would a good neighbor. You (your Team) exceed one's expectations in every respect, regardless the number of interactions. This must and does start at the top, permeating through the entire company in attitude and action. The entire experience was a pleasure and an absolutely refreshing business experience from my contact via website, corporate, local Richmond owner, Bill Taggert, Jim and the rest of the Team I had the privilege to meet. Allow me to further point out the very reasonable cost involved to complete my rather large yard debris removal. It would be a gross understatement to say Jim and his assistant worked their butts off in 90 degree heat and humidity to accomplish this project. The cost too was a pleasure to render especially when such a high standard is set and maintained. I have no hesitation in both using Junk-King's services again or highly recommending Junk-King to all those I come in contact. I thank you for setting and maintaining such high standards including a high level of business integrity, honesty and respect of your customers.

This turned out fine. They hauled away a little bit of everything. The people that came out were very professional and helpful. I had more in the truck than I had paid for so there were some extra costs.

These guys are great. When I made the request, I expected them to not be available for a couple of days. They came the same day I put in the request for. They were very prompt, efficient and friendly.

They were fantastic! Very professional and efficient. Upfront pricing and no pressure. I gave them a B for punctuality, only because they finished up slightly later than the window I scheduled them in. However, they had called before the window to say they would be arriving towards the end of the time frame and confirmed with me if that would be ok. Really, punctuality should more like a B+ or A- rather than a B. AND they should get an A+ for responsiveness and communication!! I am already contemplating our spring cleaning and plan on calling them again!! Well worth it. Highly recommend!!

I called Junk King about an old riding mower that had been sitting under my deck for years. They came the very next day and quoted a price that was less than half of what a competitor had quoted and even took a few extra items for no extra charge. I will be using them for all future hauling jobs.

Our backyard slopes downward. Without complaint, the crew from Junk King hauled a lot of heavy material up the hill to haul away. This is the second time they have done this type of job for us in our backyard. They are friendly, courteous, punctual, and leave no mess behind. Wonderful experience.

The folks from Junk King contacted me to see they could arrive around 10:45 instead of the 2 time frame we had set earlier. I agreed and they were right on time. They removed all of the assorted stuff within 15 minutes by really hustling. They were professional and very friendly. Great people to provide this service. They also provide a community service by taking what is sill usable to Goodwill. I would recommend them for sure to anyone with things to get rid of.

After I moved from one house to another, I needed the things that we weren't taking to the new house to be removed from the old house. Junk King removes most unwanted items and disposes of them for you by either recycling, donating or dumping what can't be salvaged. I like that Junk King followed through with exactly what they said they would do, that they were thorough, neat, professional and personable. When one truck was tied up in traffic and not able to get to the house as scheduled, they sent another truck. Bill and Greg worked hard to empty every place I designated. They went in spaces I hadn't been in in 20 years. They even found a box of books that belonged to my mother that had been missing for years. I highly recommend their services.

Called to tell me he was on his way. Arrived on time. Carefully took furniture out of house. Took about 15 min. Staff was courteous and friendly. Was able to pick up my "junk" the day after I called.

I scheduled a appointment on the company's website less than 24 hours before the appointment date and time. I chose a Saturday since I work weekdays. I was unclear if the appointment that I set was for an estimate or if the hauling would be done that day. I called the office and was advised that I would be given an estimate and if I was agreeable to the price. the branches could be hauled away that very day. As promised, I was called 15 minutes before the arrival the next day. After the arrival of the 3 men and their truck, I was given an estimate which I then negotiated for a price which was more within my budget and appropriate for the job at hand. The branches were loaded within 15 minutes and the men and the truck were off to their next appointment in record time.
