They're very efficient, very good, friendly, and they did what they said they were going to do. I was very pleased with their service.

I’ve used Woods heating and air for years. I have a service agreement with them. They do a good job. Thy were at my house for probably an hour.

It went fine. I showed him the unit, and left him to his work. Everything is working fine while he was here and I don't expect any problems this summer. :)

They were hard to get ahold of sometimes but they did a good job.

It would be nice if they had a few more techs so I could schedule my appointments sooner.

Scheduling the appointment was easy and professional. The tech showed up on time and seemed nice. After checking our unit in the attic, the tech blew out our line and pushed the restart button on the overflow switch. He said we needed a new drip pan which they make "custom" and that it would take 2 techs 1/2 day to pull out the coils and look at the internal pan for leaks. If we needed a new internal drip pan the cost for both pans, labor and putting the drain line back in the drain would total approximately $1,600.00. He said they really did not want to do the work and we should contact the company who installed the unit. I asked whether they only worked on units they installed and he said no. I also told him we were unsuccessful in getting in touch with the man who installed the unit but of course we needed our AC to work. I was EXTREMELY disappointed with the service. After doing some price checking - come to find out internal and external pans run about $40-140 each. A tech from another company came out and he initially did the same procedures. He then pulled out the coils (by himself), checked the pain which ended up to be simply out of the clip which caused the leak and overflow switch to turn off. He cleaned our old external pan, pushed the overflow switch and the unit is now working fine. My husband climbed over the unit and placed the drain line back into the line with his hand (approximately 3-5 minutes). Total time spent by 2nd tech was 1.5 hours and it was less than $200.00. I feel that Woods took advantage of me, took my money and did not get my unit to work. I would not recommend this company.

They did a good job. I would use them again.

They are coming to clean the ducts in a few weeks. I really like them. I didn't have a coupon for the duct work, and when I asked the guy a few years ago, he said he would give me $50 off. They are very easy to work with, and it is a family run operation. They do provide good service. They are really nice, neat and friendly. They come in the spring and check the heat pump part of it.

It was for a rental property that I have and I called them and they came and took care of it. They answered my call, gave me an estimate, and did the job as they said they would at the price they quoted.

Overall the service side of things was great. Friendly guy, on time, was done in 20 minutes, everything works great now. My problem is the pricing. When I called, they said $60 for them to come out + whatever the repairman actually had to do to fix it. Most other places cost $80-90 just to come out. The final bill was for $150. He was in my house for no more than 20min. He screwed a wire back into a wire nut. For that to cost $90 was pretty outrageous to me. Classic bait and switch. Fortunately, I had the Angie's List $50 off coupon so it ended up costing $100 (including $60 visit), which, in the end, is probably what most of these companies would charge for that work. I would just look elsewhere unless you don't mind being surprised with the cost of the actual work.

The house is cooling down as we speak! Brad was very punctual, friendly and efficient. He recommended we have a tune up and also think of replacing our furnace and AC sometime soon, which we know is coming down the pike. There was no pressure and it was a pleasure working with Brad of Wood Family AC.

I had them in for a special package on Angie's List to check out and clean my system. I was very glad I did because they discovered that something was wrong and did the work to fix it and stuck with the $79 special to fix it and two very professional and polite technicians had to to come out fix it. Will definitely use them again.

Woods is great! They did whatever the inspection service was. The technician is detail oriented, explain things, and he's just really interactive. It's what you hope it would be. I would going to use them for any of all things in the future that they do.

06.12.14: -The installation went well for the most part. The workmen were ALL extremely nice. They came on time at 8:30 AM and other than a very short lunch, they worked constantly until 5:30 PM. There were 3 things that annoyed me about the completed work. While walking about the property with the last Woods' employee, I noticed several things, that in my opinion, should not have been overlooked. Firstly, where the pipes for the outside unit come into house through the foundation, the hole was left un-caulked. The remaining Woods' employee caulked it when I pointed it out. Secondly, on the inside site of that same hole, small chunks of cement were left on the floor in back of the water softener and washer/dryer. (Due to the hook-up of the water softener, I do not feel comfortable moving them out of there to clean up the mess.) Lastly, the new pad that the HUGE outdoor unit sits on, was not seated correctly on the dirt. Level, yes. However one corner just has mud packed under it, After a few good rains, this will begin to wash away. 06.14.14: -Today Woods came back to install 3 vents in my basement. I had asked for the vents to have switches behind them that would cut off air-flow completely when turned "off." (I wanted these "cut-offs" installed because in the summer, the basement is always cool. Winter is why I wanted the vents there for the heat.) The switches installed do not cut off the air supply completely to the vents. My complaint, and it's stupidity on my part, is that they didn't show me how these were working. (Nor did they test them. I know this because I had turned off the system.) -Overall I am satisfied with their work. When I have another job that needs to be done, I will call on Woods again. -Keith W. Barnhart

They contacted me and informed me they were unable to work on an oil furnace which is what we have.

The person on the phone was very professional and pleasant. The tech called prior to coming on site and bandaided the problem to an old system, and accepted the $50 Angie cash coupon which was fantastic. Compared to other companies in the area, we were impressed with responsiveness, punctuality, price, and customer service. Will use again.

They got the job done in about 45 minutes to an hour and a half. The technician was prompt and actually showed up early. He completed the job on time. The scheduling was painless.
