Rankin Darby is a wonderful contractor to work with. He is a nice person to have working in your home and very professional. He does excellent work in a very efficient and timely manner. I assumed his wasn't the lowest price I would be quoted but chose him without getting additional quotes. I was very satisfied the first time and called him back for other jobs after.

I liked the fact that when we had the initial quote process that the gentleman who came to do the estimate was timely, very quick and explained everything because I do not know a whole lot about windows. I appreciated the fact that it was a local company rather than a corporate company. He explained everything to my satisfaction. Then after the estimate was done, I spoke with my husband about it and then shortly thereafter we set up a time. It was done within a two-week process, because he had to order the windows and get his crew together, and it was all done really very quickly. I would give them an "A" all the way around, because I was really satisfied with everything that was done, any questions that I had, and I just would say it was an "A" effort.

Rankin came and we discussed windows. I previously had Rusco come talk to me but they got on my nerves with the fold out stand and company info that I didnt want to hear. I wanted bottom line. . Rankin came in. measured and assessed as I have larger windows than the regular . He ordered. When they came in I paid half down. They were in within two weeks. He set up the appointment. One man and his wife came and I thought OMGand gt; This is going to take more than a few days but I was wrong. The man took out all the screens and windows and probably would have finished all in one day however I have an awning and second floor area and he had to go back and get one of those stands to go overtop of the awning to walk on. My windows had been in since 1968 and were nasty and a mess. He put all in and caulked inside. He only had the four on the back of the house that he completed in the morning (this morning) 030513. He cleaned up all of the mess outside. Nothing is out there. The windows are wonderful. I have this huge front picture window with those laticework type wood things and decided to go ahead and get a picture window . It also has two side windows. That was 844. Its very big.

I was very pleased with the process of refacing my dormers and replacing the masonite boards on my sunroom. Rankin worked efficiently and left the premises in impeccable order. Without a doubt I would trust his company with replacing of windows, doors, or providing general carpentry work again.
