About us

Sleepy Hollow Kennel is Veatch Family owned & operated. Located in the Blue Ridge Mountains, our location offers a “camp like setting” to board your dog. Being family run provides a vested interest and level of continuity in the care we take to board your dog. Since we live here at the kennel, security is around the clock. Reservation can be made either by phone or from our website. We do not require a deposit, and payment is check or cash when you pick you dog up. Please visit our website for complete details.

Services we offer

Boarding is offered in indoor/outdoor runs. We have varying size runs to accommodate any size dog or multiple dogs together. Bathing & nail trims can be scheduled for a boarding stay or as a weekday visit. Full grooming is available for established customers. Cat boarding is offered on a limited basis. We also sell dog food and firewood.

My dog likes going, she's always happy when I pick her up. We take her for at least a few days every 3 months when we go out of town, so she recognizes the place and never seems upset to go. That says a lot to me!
Description of Work: My dog is my baby and they keep her every time we go out of town. My dog is an escape artist, and it's good to know she's totally safe. They keep them in a really shady area that doesn't get too hot, even in the hottest parts of summer. The staff is very professional and always prepared. They have tight office hours, but after you've been there once you can book online and they are quick to respond. Make sure you listen to the directions they give you, the GPS can take you the wrong way. Price is a couple bucks cheaper than other kennels, and this one looks a lot nicer. They'll provide the food and administer medications.
