 + -1 moreThe driver (Daniel) did more than I expected him to do. He did not have to assist me with moving the item, yet he he went beyond what I expected him to do! He was very courteous and professional. He had a sense of humor and I appreciated that.
Description of Work: They moved an item said to weigh between 1250 - 1700 lbs. They were able to go to NC, pick up the item from a business in NC and bring it back up to VA on a Saturday. Same day service! This was very convenient for me. The item only needed to be moved 10 feet once it was off the truck. I had checked around and called 4 other shipping companies in the area and no one even came close to what Security Transport charged. One of those companies, (a large and well known moving company) I had used a few years ago. Still, they wanted 4x what Security Transport charged. I would have thought they would have been a bit better on the price since I was a returning customer. But, that sort of customer service does not seem to be around today. This other company, said the move MUST include 4 people and the truck. Thats's very strange because Security Transport did the exact job and they had only 1 man and a truck which was all I needed. What does that tell you?
