They came when they said they would, they charged what they estimated it to be and finished the project in record time. No issues, it was a great experience.

Showed up on time with enough manpower to get the job done in 1/2 a day. Highly recommeded.

Had a reassuring feeling of professionalism from the start. We were given an estimate on the spot, which reflected exactly what we finally had paid them. No surprises! The entire work crew worked hard for us, and respected our property very well.

John came out two different times to make sure the plans were just right. This was during their busy time of year, but they ended up being able to put up the fence a couple of weeks earlier than expected, which was great. We did get one other estimate for comparison, but SAM Fencing was about $1000 cheaper. They worked quickly and their work is high quality. We were nervous about spending so much money on something like this, but in the end, the fence turned out to be even better than we expected and we are very pleased.

Quote and appointment promptly conducted. Pricing way out of line v. all other quotes. When asked why one section was $209./ft ( 17' total) while another was about $50/ft (65'total) and notwithstanding the exact same material at the same location, the answer was they had to come back a second day in the Spring. Made no sense

They provided the best price hands down and finished the job in the duration provided and started a week before they planned.

Sam's Fencing did a fantastic job with our 4' dog-eared picket fence that we had put in our backyard to help contain our kids and pets. They were here on time and worked through the project in just two days with one day in between. They were here and gone before we knew it and were extremely helpful!

On time, protected yard and flower beds, removed old fence, installed new one in 2 days. Polite, neat, excellent work. When several pickets warped in several months, they returned to replace them at no charge. Great company!

The sales rep first started out telling me he very much doubted he could find these post any more. That it was a short run fencing product and it was not made any more, but they did install it at several location and have not received any complaints so far. So now I have no option to make any repairs. So I requested a fair quote to replace the fence with a 3 rail split rail or ranch style fence or treated pine. Due to the cedar not holding up and that this particular product, in my belief, is an inferior product. I asked also for fair consideration for the cost. I do realize I have received some value from the fence and do expect to pay a fair portion of the cost. I pointed out to the sales rep. that I do currently have a pine post in the same area that has not decayed and are 15 yrs old. Some in my back that are over 24 year old and show their age, but have not decayed. I did not receive good answer as to why their premium cedar fence has decayed to this degree in only 7 to 8 years and my pine post have not. The sales rep then snapped some pictures (he told me) and sent to the owner. And the owner agreed he was surprised at the amount of decay in such a short time frame. They then quoted me $3850.00 for the split rail fence and $4400.00 for the ranch style fencing. I was not happy with this quote and asked the sales rep to get back with the owner and he did. He had already left and called me back in a short time frame. They would take another $200.00 off each quote, but this was the best they could do. I am very dissatisfied with these quotes, what am I suppose to do? Buy new fences every 7 to 8 years? I do believe the company should have met me half way since I did not receive half life out of a standard fence and this was suppose to be their premium product. I normally don't write reviews on companies but felt like I needed to in this case. I normally just don't do business with them anymore. In this case that is exactly what I'm going to do. I'm not going to do business with them anymore. I do have other options. Thanks for reading this.

I would not use them again. I have a narrow driveway and the gate they put on were directly next to the asphalt and made it to narrow to get my vehicle in. I let the crew know about the issue, who seemed to be fine with re-doing the work. Once the owner approached me, he was definitely upset and advised of all the time it would take to correct.

They arrived early in AM both days. The posts went in first. They were very detailed oriented. They came back to put the fence up. That was completed in the day. It truly is a custom fence with the hills in this area. They cut the boards once they are nailed up. It really is a beautiful fence. They did an excellent job in my opinion. I did get 2 other estimates. They were all about the same price. However, I felt that Sam's fence with reviews on Angie's list was the best and this helped me to make my decision of who to use. The crew was early both days; very professional; and very detail oriented. Great group of people to work with.

I was contacted immediately and sales rep came right out to give estimate. Price was really reasonable.Very professional and listened to all my requests and concerns. Came back on scheduled day to sink the posts. Returned next day to install the fencing and it was done very professionally and in one day. They cleaned up the yard when done. Spoke with installers and they were all knowledgeable. this was a very pleasant experience and I got exactly what I paid for. Plus it looks just beautiful. This is an A-1 professional firm and I would certainly recommend them.

John was professional from beginning to end. I think Sam Fencing has the process down pat - it went as others have described here. I got an estimate mid-summer and then my general contractor (who is pretty precise with his guesstimates) priced the work roughly the same and had some positive words to say about Sam Fencing. I went with them, paid a deposit and then the fencing came in within about 2 weeks of signing the contract, as John said, and they were out to install within a couple of days (I don't recall exactly the time frame but it was very soon). Took 1.5 days, everyone was nice, the fence looks good and so far, we are happy with it. Very pleased to get our yard fenced!

Affordable, punctual and professional. Got three quotes and was by far the most reasonable. Very quality fence that was put up in two days. Left for work in the morning and fence was installed when I got home - didn't even see them put it up. Highly recommended.

95 feet of brown vinyl 3-rail fence. Removed 110 feet of 4-rail wood fence.

The initial sales call went well and the estimate was provided immediately on the spot. The crew arrived promptly on both days of installation. They worked with us to make some slight adjustments in the location, and changed the gates when we told them we dislike the way they looked. It was only a minor adjustment. Unfortunately, our internet wire was cut during the installation. Initially, they were going to repair it themselves when they thought it was just a phone line. However, they declined to repair the broadband line, and we are glad they did. They did make the call and arrange repair with the telephone company, and we do appreciate that. Clean up was thorough, and the overall product was well-done.

Very prompt and professional in response to a quote on services to be rendered. Competitive pricing. Another vendor won the bid. Sam's Fencing did not offer removal and disposal of the existing fencing. That was a definite deal breaker.

They took 2 days. The first day they came out and installed the posts. They came back out two days later to install the fence. They were professional and fast. Overall, it was a good experience.

This was a fairly large space that began in my yard but continued into a wooded area. I had called several companies for bids. One never called me back. Sam's fencing and one of their competitors both came out. both were very close in price but due to feedback on Angie's List I chose Sam's Fencing. John was informative had great advise and gave me a quote that same day while he was there. He said the fencing would take about two weeks to come in and two days to install. that's exactly how it went. The fence looks beautiful and they took into account that it's function was to contain my dogs so it even though I had uneven areas they were able to keep it close to the ground in all areas. I thought the price was good and the workmanship great. I am moving into a house that I am having to do a great deal to and having workmanship go so smoothly is appreciated.

Work was performed in a timely manner. Started and ended as promised, and cleaned up afterwards. Very professional and courteous in demeanor. High quality work. We were quite satisfied with the job, but the cost was rather pricey. I also expected that the chain link fence would have been made of better quality materials.

Excellent job. All employees were courteous and professional. It took me a few years to make up my mind as to the kind of fence I wanted and where exactly I wanted it, which meant several different estimates and remeasuring. Each time the estimator came out he was equally patient and helpful. I also did obtain competitive bids, and Sam's Fencing was slightly less than the next closest. I would highly recommend the company.

I'd highly recommend. They were punctual coming to give the estimate, they asked for a little less than a third of the cost as a down payment. They said it there would bea 3-4 week wait to install, but two weeks later they gave us a call and came out. It only took two days for them to install. It's perfectly level and very sturdy. Their gates don't come standard with a handle, but since my husband and I are shorter, we called and asked if they could put one in and they did at no extra charge.
