They were great. They came in to do the job and did it in reasonable amount of time and for a good price. They gave me a good deal.

I had a good experience with them and liked the installation. The guy who came out for Rockfab Kitchen & Bath was good and did adjustments to the cabinet doors and didn't charge anything extra for doing it. The pricing was high and I had to compromise on design since I had a rock slab that was cut into pieces.

The installer was very knowledgeable and meticulous in the installation. He came back as a courtesy a few weeks later to adjust any of the doors that had settled. We had one door panel that had a slight imperfection in the finish and they gladly exchanged it fr a new door.

I visited RockFab without appointment and was given a tour of their granite slabs in stock and several folks (including the owner) answered my questions. I gave them a layout drawing of my cabinets and took photos of the slabs I was interested in. They gave me a price estimate range on a sticky note (FYI: slabs are marked with a price category A, B, C, D, etc). I then reviewed the photos with my wife and we made an appointment to view the slabs together. We picked one out and then were given a price for that specific slab, again on a sticky note. We called them back a day or so later and said we decided to go with that specific slab and requested a firm contract, which they emailed to me as requested. Upon reviewing the contract, I requested several changes in the fine print; Specifically they were A: "Any price increase in material that occur(s) during that period of time between contract execution and substantial completion of the project shall be paid by purchaser". B: "Contractor shall have sole discretion and right to substitute comparable materials and such substitution shall not affect contract price". C: "Contractor may enter the premises to remove excess material(s) at all reasonable hours". The requested changes were approved and I made the down payment via credit card over the phone. Several days later they made an appointment to do the templates. They guy they had do the templates was very pleasant, professional and very helpful when discussing what we wanted for the layout details, and what was needed for support over an area of countertop we had overhanging a radiator. Several weeks after that, we got a call saying they would be coming out the next day to install the countertop. This was perhaps my only complaint. I had emailed them several days earlier asking what their schedule was (so I could plan my week) and got no response. I had to reschedule my business travel plans so that I could be here when they did the installation (I could have rescheduled the installation but was anxious to get them in). The guys that did the installation were very professional and clearly knew what they were doing. It was impressive to watch them do the installation. Prior to installation we reviewed several areas of concern with my walls not being truly straight, the future installation of the dishwasher etc., and they were very helpful. My only caution to others would be know that the installers assume you want things the way they are when they get there and do not challenge things - i.e. I have a textured wall and was planning to remove the texture where the backsplash went (I mentioned something before installation but we did have a miscommunication on that) - they started gluing the backsplash over the texture which made it stick out further than I wanted. Fortunately, I caught it in time and they were very responsive in getting the glue off while I scraped the texture off the wall and then they reinstalled the backspalsh. Overall, it was a very good experience and we are happy with the results.

They submitted several designs for the remodel and we selected our favorite. Everyone we dealt with was extremely professional and RELIABLE. They showed up when they said they would. The job began and finished when they said it would. We are extremely happy with the end product. Without question the most pleasant experience I have ever had working with a contractor. We would not hesitate to use their services again or recommend them to anyone needing a kitchen remodel.

Again, Rockfab was great. Leslie was good to work with, although there was some confusion about my actual install date. Everything was worked out very quickly - they were flexible - and again, the results are great. I highly recommend them!

Jennifer at the Rockfab sales office in Lynchburg was excellent to work with on this project. Everything was coordinated perfectly with the showroom and plant in Roanoke. The installation was incredibly easy and the kitchen countertops look beautiful. Entire project was much easier to manage through Rockfab (vs. Home Depot or Lowes) - because they did EVERYTHING - and it was at a better price.
