+ -1 moreGoing on 5 months now and they are still making excuses. They apologize for long delay but still don't do anything. They agree timeframe is inexcusable but if I don't call every day, they would never call. most of time, I get no call backs and they don't answer phone. They have all the money except for $2000 and apparently have spent the whole $25k they were given. I have no choice now but to sue for breach of contract as all I get is excuses and promises. 6/2/11 Their contractor license was suspended. I found out 1 other customer was scammed out of $13,000 with no work done. They are claiming bankruptcy and have gone to work for other companies.
Description of Work: Supposed to add a 100 sq ft addition to back of home. started mid-Oct 2010 and promised by 2 diff people that it would be done by Christmas easily. It is Feb 18 and they worked 2.5 days in Nov and have done nothing since except some electrical work that took 60 days. going to get lawyer now. Kristie Sturgill and Shaun Childress. They had footer dug and roof attached and framed out. No insulation, drywall, flooring, etc. and it has sat that way for the last three months.

+ 1 moreWe had Renu do several jobs for us. Work was not quality and they needed to be watched to complete the work (e.g. did not put a p-trap on the washing machine and had to re-do it--only after I said something, had to call a plumber out after they did the job as the w& D didn't work b/c the workman put too much glue in the line). They did give us the money back that we had to pay for the plumber--the owners (esp. the wife) were responsive to the problems.
Description of Work: remodeling, installing lights, installing cabinet, install w & d hook ups.

+ 1 moreWe complained of the sewage splatter on the wall and on the ground. They said they cleaned it, but to this day it is very obvious because of the stains it left. The area they dug up did have grass prior to digging. but was destroyed from the digging. They did fill in the hole and said they planted grass, but a few weeks later it looked like a dog with mange. The company did take 500 dollars off of the 2000 dollar bill so we could pay a landscaper to repair the damaged area. We would caution anyone if they call this company for the same problem we had.
Description of Work: We called the company to help unclog a leak in the basement. We were unable to use any water because the system had backed up and flooded our basement. We were told that they would not perform the work if they thought they could not complete it. When they arrived they said they could do it. The two men left for a while to go and rent a snake in order to clear out the pipe. When they returned they were unable to remove the access screw to the sewage pipe. So, the two men left again to purchase an electric saw so they could cut out a large portion of the metal sewage pipe which would be replaced with pvc and two rubber boots. During this cutting, sewage was splattered around the area (fusebox and wall) and sewage also slowly and steadily dripped onto the ground below the pipe. They inserted the snake, but when they tried to rewind the snake it had caught onto something and they were unable to pull it back in. They then proceeded to try and free up the snake by going through the septic tank. They tried to locate the access door to the septic tank, but were unsuccessful. They told us they would return the next day. In the meantime, we could not use any water or toilets and the pipe that had been cut continued to drip sewage onto the floor throughout the night. The next day they returned with a small tractor which we had to pay for. While they dup to look for the access door, the tractor cut into a gas line so the fire department and the gas company had to be called out. We had to wait another day! When all was said and done, it took several days and cost us alot of money.
