It was a nightmare on every level. The professional level was horrible. Their responsiveness was horrible. I was downstairs every night taking inventory and reminding them of what they hadn't ordered yet. They had to replace several appliances. They actually brought us a used dishwasher and put it in. There was nothing positive out of that experience. We had high hopes, but it was horrible. If I could have walked away from that house, I would have! It was a small kitchen, but they were so disorganized and so many things had to be corrected. I actually went into the store numerous times. I wanted to know why they didn't have any communication from the top to the bottom. They didn't have any meetings or anything. What they promised us when we sat down at the table with their book, they said this will be done here and this will be done here. This is the contract and the contacts. There was nothing that happened like that. I was actually the foreman the whole time. They kept taking breaks for days. Apparently they were working on several projects at the same time. They were ordering things to come at different times. They would come to our house one day, or half a day or in the morning and then they wouldn't come back for three days and then not tell us. They had a key in case they needed to lock up, one time they walked in without knocking or anything. We had to actually fire the main contractor's son. We said we didn't want him back in the house, he was very disrespectful. We called their main office and complained, customer service. They returned things, I literally could not keep track of the cost. It was a very bad experience. The materials were substandard to what they had in the store, the cabinets they had, the samples they had in the store, they were good solid wood, I talked to the designer. When they came to us they were bad quality and the stain was completely different. At that time we just wanted to get them in and out and gone. I think we had to return the microwave, the dishwasher I know we had to return. I couldn't even tell you all the things that went wrong. Finally, they had to cut the granite, and they cut the edge the wrong way. We said look, we'll take it, just put it up and be done with it. We had holes in the cupboards, we had glass front cupboards, in the pantry we had lights and glass in the front. They had drilled holes about the size of a silver dollar into the back of the cupboards to run wires and I don't know why they did that, you could see it from the living room. They left the holes empty, didn't even put plugs in. There were so many things, I am mad just thinking about it. I would definitely not recommend Lowe's. We were mislead on the price. A lot of things came in over budget under quality materials. We had to return the dishwasher. They actually brought a used dishwasher. I don't even know why they took it out of the box, it had water in the bottom of it, in the dishwasher. When they put it in, there were rust spots in the bottom of it and the next one we got had rust stains it in so we had to return that one too. You never knew who you were going to talk to. I don't know if they were punctual, they came and went at their leisure. They would show up at noon and leave at 2. We never knew when they were going to come. Even if they told us, they never came at that time and then they would leave and go to another job. No I would absolutely not use them again, we will not even go into the store down here.

I purchased a washer and dryer from Lowe's . They delivered them the next day and tried to install them. They gave us the wrong cord for the dryer and the delivery man could not finish the installation . He called Lowe's and the Manager of that dept. said he would bring us the right cord on his way home and finish the installation . That is exactly what he did. This is outstanding service. Thank you Lowe's. We will buy all our appliance's from Lowe's from now on.. Brenda Poage

We were looking for someone to remove our old vinyl floors in the bathrooms and kitchen, and install new vinyl floors. We were informed that Lowes does not provide removal of the old floors. So we went to "Floored" and "De Hart Tile" companies in Christiansburg, and got quotes from both of them. The quotes were right in the same ballpark, and both companies were great to work with. We chose De Hart Tile because we they had samples of floors we really liked.

Very punctual and informative in providing the estimate and details of work that would be performed. Decided to use another, smaller contractor because of more customization options and timeline flexibility. Gave low score for quality only because of the pre-fab pickets being used compared to the individual boards by other contractor. Price was cheapest of bids, assumed because of the material difference - Decided to spend more for better materials because it met our needs long term. Was very willing to work with our complicated timeline, including giving us temporary option for containing our pets while the fence was waiting to be built.

Lowes and their installer David was very prompt, efficient, and did quality work! They made sure that the house was livable for us during installation ! They did an excellent job and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for this service! Will only be using Lowes from now on!

Lowes never submitted quotes, however did refund $ 35.00 in the form of a store credit card. We believe they were having problems with their installation contractor.

I wasn't terribly impressed, because they came out and measured the doors, and the person who measured came up with the wrong size so basically my husband measured the doors himself. They were hard for me to work with. They came out last fall to do the measuring, and then they didn't get back to us so I had to call them. They said that they consider it new installation. I was not impressed with that at all.

They were very kind and professional. Because our home is old, we had to have an extra charge per window for lead removal which any company would have had to do by law. They were very clean, quiet and quick. They also offered us 0% financing on our Lowe's card for 18 months and were very competitive on pricing. I was happy and would use them again. The windows look great. My only complaint is they didn't get all of the sticker off of the windows before they left so some of them had to be scraped with label remover. Not a big deal.

Initial lowes employees measurements were incorrect leading to project delays. This initial mistake set the tone for a lengthly project. The contractors sent from Lowes were true professionals and did their best to rectify the initial mistake.

The experience with their service was great. The staff were very friendly.

I had zero problems and they delivered the refrigerator within 24 hours. They did not charge a delivery fee. They did not have the stove that I wanted so I had to go someplace else for that. I got a 4 door instead of a 2 door refrigerator. They are on time; they were right on the money. I would absolutely use them again.

Their kitchen design service was very experienced in making recommendations and helping to keep the cost down. I was extremely pleased with the look as the price was very reasonable. They are great with follow through.

The employees were on time and did a great job. They were very knowledgeable, kept working, didn't waste time on breaks or chattering, and finished the job even ahead of time. They cleaned up after themselves, and then the next day a rep from Lowe's called to get the feedback. We had nothing but praise.

The person who came out was really nice and really professional. He had arrived when he said he would. He was very experienced, but very expensive too. He said he would do the work himself. He was an installer/estimator. We had also had cabinetry work done by them eight years ago. They had done a really good job back then.
