+ -1 moreMy call was returned promptly and an offer was made to arrive immediately if the situation was an emergency. Since the matter was routine, we scheduled a mutually convenient date a few days later for an inspection and estimate. Greg arrived as agreed and provided a written estimate; I found it acceptable and we scheduled a mutually convenient date a few days later for the actual tree removal. All work was performed as promised on the scheduled date. The crew seemed experienced and they remained focused on their job; all work was completed and the site cleaned up by the middle of the afternoon. Well done. Curiously, when I suggested over the phone and then again in a written note that Greg return to discuss some additional tree work; I received no follow up.
Description of Work: Cut and removed large fallen oak tree from back yard; did same for a couple of smaller trees that were impacted by the large oak. Removed all wood and branches. Chipped small stuff and spread in area. I did not need any of the stumps removed.

Description of Work: Removed 4 trees and stump. Were on time and completed the task quickly. Came and gave estimate, called about utility locations and called the day before arrival to verify date. Complete cleanup after themselves. I will use again.

Description of Work: Our neighbor's tree fell on our house, I called Etter's and he arrived with in 30 min of my call. Cut and removed a huge Oak tree from our roof even though it was still raining. Covered the hole where a branch punture through so that the rain didn't leak in anymore than it had. Came back after the rain stopped and removed the wood blocks from the tree so they would not mess up our yard any more than they had too. Great job, fast response in an emergency. My neighbor also hired them after we did to remove another tree from their carport that had been knocked over when the tree fell on our house.

+ -1 moreWe had gotten several estimates and their price was extremely reasonable. He was prompt and he cleaned up, there was no trash left. The work was very well done. In fact, our neighbor's hired him after he did ours. He is reliable.

+ -1 moreThings started out okay, even funny but when all was said and done we were not only displeased with the service but pretty darn upset that our healthy landscaping, fenceline, yard and even our birdhouse (which was on a tall fence post by itself- how do ya miss that?!) were ruined. We'll call someone else in the future.
Description of Work: Tree removal people hadn't climbed trees before, were afraid to climb one tree and tripped just walking to it on their equipment. The removers were at least a little better than the owner, who came to grind the remaining stumps. He broke down a fence post and demolished a bird house that was a wedding present. He didn't even mention our demolished wooden bird house, just left it out in the yard in pieces. He had to remove a fence panel to get his machinery in our yard and didn't properly reattach it when he left, so our three dogs were meandering around the subdivision. The dead trees around our house are gone but our yard is still a mess, even more so with the ornamental trees and shrubs that were destroyed during the process!
