I called and left a message at 7:42AM with my issue of needing a sump pump replaced.. I received a callback at 7:54AM from Jim. We made an appointment for him to come the same day between 2P-4P. He called at 2:59PM and said he would be at my house in 15 minutes. He was here shortly after 3PM and left about 4:20PM. Fast. Efficient. Problem solved. I think the price was about average. This was my first time using Eades and will most likely use them again.

Responded very quickly to our request for an estimate. Services were scheduled very quickly and we are very satisfied with the new water heater and disposal. They were even kind enough to give my husband tips on repairs he could do himself.

When called, Jim Eades came out to my home, gave an estimate and was able to schedule installation in a timely manner. He was delayed a day with another emergency (he's also a plumber); he had to install a furnace for another customer. Jim was supposed to start my floor on Wednesday and be done on Saturday. He didn't start til Thursday, worked Friday and Saturday and still needed to come back another day. He was going out of town on Sunday and Monday, so didn't come back til Tuesday to finish and move back my furniture from the garage into the room. Instead of only 3 days as originally proposed, it was almost 7 days before the job was complete and I could use the basement again. Jim and his assistant did an excellent job of laying the tile floor, but they made a terrific mess on my walls, both entry door sills, and my moldings. Afterwards, I spent more than 2 hours washing off grout, footprints and handprints. There was grout spattered within 2 inches of the ceiling! They left a mess in my front and back yards where they did some mixing and spilled (or poured) the mixture on the ground. There were some dents in my dry wall from either banging into the wall with tools or kicking it when on their knees. If you need a beautiful tile floor, they can do it, but be prepared to a major clean up and minor damage.

,Arrived on time, assessed needs promptly (indicating various options), secured necessary parts quickly and finished job in estimated time and within cost range quoted.

The drains were backing up. Couldn't flush,shower, or anything that used water. After he came all is well!

Jim Eades replaced my hot water heater and revented my furnace and hot water heater properly all the way to the roof. Whoever installed the furnace and hot water heater previously did not vent the units properly. Carbon Monoxide was actually being blown back into the house.

They were very punctual, polite, and did good work. Also they cleaned up after themselves as well. The price was very fair for the work done and we would hire them again. The only complaints we have are with the utility sink drain pipe - it is slightly off plumb and could have been routed better otherwise it works fine, and the pex lines for the washer/utility sink are not straight - they travel down the wall at a slight angle. (Relative who was a plumber for years pointed these out to us after the install.)

My wife was doing the wash when she noticed a backup of suds water coming out of the drain in the wash room area. I checked in our garage and noticed that the drain there had backed up on the floor. After cleaning the dirt and water from both areas, I called Eades plumbing at about 10am and they came by 3pm on the same day. Jim Eades and his associate very quickley decided to "snake" both the main drain and sewer line and the secondary line which ran from the washer area and intercepted the garage drain which then ran into the main line. The backup was in the secondary drain and the "snake" did the job. Eades stated that over the years, an accummulation of stuff does build up and cause problems. Eades had the right equipment, did the job professionally and took about an hour or so to complete the service. They did a great job on short notice and saved our weekend as well.

Eases suggested the modern fixtures. I'm glad I said yes because th new look is fantastic. I was impressed by the speed and craftsmanship. They did extra caulking on their own initiative. The new caulking looks very nice. They cleaned up 100% of their mess and did not track dirt and dust through the house.

They returned our phone calls quickly, unlike some others we tried, gave an estimate over the phone, arrived promptly at the scheduled time, and were very professional. We didn't compare much on fees because we needed someone quickly, and they were the first to give us an appointment the soonest.

He seemed very genuine and hardworking. I liked that it is a private family business. He seemed genuinely interested in fixing my problem and not just taking my money which is what I felt was classic.

My fathers home was built in 1956. The drainage pipe from kitchen had completely rusted through and water was spilling out. Odors had been detected in all sinks. Mr Eades was prompt, professional, priced the job reasonably and I was very pleased with the results. In addition, Mr Eades was patient and considerate to my 85 year old father who was apprehensive and hovered over them. I will be calling them again for additional work in the future.

arrived on time. i felt totally comfortable leaving mr. eades and assistant in my home while i ran errands. he finished early, and left an invoice; totally okay with my mailing him a check.

He completed the main bathroom in two days, and the full shower area in five, exactly according to his estimate. I am so impressed with his craftsmanship and his professionalism. I had two other proposals that came in at about the same amount but they only included a refitting and no tub replacement or pipe replacement.

Obviously it is not fun having the water shut off. Eades Plumbing was the only one that would come out that same day. It only cost me $35 extra, which I thought was a bargain in order to restore water. He came when he said he would even though it was slightly after normal hours. He had to go get some parts and then he fixed the problem restoring the water quickly. He charged me what he said he was going to charge. All things considered given he restored my water, fixed the pipe, and came out within 4 hours of talking to him, I would say the price was a bargain. Professional as well.

Everything was done very professionally; made a special effort to get the white handles that I wanted

He was able to get to me very quickly and he arrived exactly on time, Mr. Eades was extremely professional but personable. Tested several things, fixed a bad pvc joint, primed joints and reglued. Made sure twice that there was no leaks before he left. Was there at least hour and charged me the minimum service call rate. He was very knowledgeable. Definitely will call him again no matter what plumbing problem I run into.

Mr. Eades came to the house to give an estimate and suggestions on the work I wanted to have done. The estimate given was satisfactory and he was available to do the work at that time after getting some additional material. Work was completed very efficiently, the area was left clean and the area was protected from any damage/spills. Once he recognized that he was going to be late for his appointment for the estimate, he called to let us know he was running about 30 minutes behind schedule. He then arrived at the rescheduled time. I'd recommend you give him a try.
