Just don't even call these people! I've recently discovered that the furnace this company installed for me in 2010 was installed poorly, and the contractyor did not even get a building permit or have the gas furnace inspected (this is, now I know, a requirement). In June 2011, they came back to work on my AC, and after two visits, the AC was in worse condition than before. They left several leaks, inside and outside, and the had disconnected my house filter from the AC and didn't re-connect it. They didn't tape the ducts around the AC, and I had cold air streaming out into the basement, not into the house. I didn't even know all this until my AC went out from the recents storms and outages. The current contractor showed me all the problems. I knew there were problems after they had worked on the AC, but I could not even get the owner to call me back and listen to my complaints.ough
Description of Work: They replaced my old gas furnace in 2010. When I told them I was getting another estimate, they lowered the price drastically. I thought I was getting a good deal. I wasn't. Then in June 2011, they worked on my AC unit and left it worse than it was. I've only recently discovered the extent of the damage they left behind.

On Thanksgiving morning the pump was pumping, water going into the holding tank. The pump was attempting to pump water to the outside, but it could not handle the work load. I had water all throughout the floor. I mopped water, shut the unit off, built a fire, and called Tim. He said it wasn't part of my service contract and I would have to pay. I would have a bill of about 5 to 600 dollars. I sent him a letter letting him know to honor his 10 year part and labor warranty. He has not done so yet. I have yet to see him honor the first thing he's told me. He did not replace the R22 line from the inside to the outside unit, which was 3 1/4 inch pipe. The pipe on the unit on the inside and the outside is 7/8 inch pipe. He combined the two which has caused me issues. I had another company out this morning who pointed this out to me. I wrote Mr. Dooley a letter when I was having this trouble in 2007 and called him out on his work. He left me a voice mail saying he was not responsible for service even though he had sold me a warranty and service. The more I talk to him the more his attitude comes through. He is a smooth talker. I recommend that anyone seeking out Tim Dooley get several assessments of the work. I also recommend that they get everything in writing. Friday was the first I've seen of him since 3 years ago when they installed this unit.
Description of Work: He installed the system in 2007. I was having a problem with my 2.5 ton unit. I spoke to him about upgrading to a 3 ton. Due to allergies, I need a humidifier in the winter. He tapped into my water line to run to the humidifier. Instead of replacing the condensing holding tank and pump (to handle the 3 ton), they installed the 2.5 ton unit onto the 3 ton system.

This customer has been handled according to Frigidaire Warranty policy in every instance he has called. He hung up on the service manager for no obvious reason, and then was called by the local distribution. We have been given excellent marks, by Frigidaire for our service and have approx. 15 million dollars of HVAC in the field since, we established, we don't have unhappy customers. Some people are bitter, not happy & generally don't get along with any company. This describes this customer. We are there for all resonable customers that have respect for our company .
