I thought they did a good job of that but it was more than I wanted to pay. So I didn't use them. The guy seem to know what he was doing. He seem to point out some of the things that had to be done. They sent me the estimate in a pdf file by email within a couple of days.

Mr. Dollman came to our house and helped us sketch out a floor plan for a kitchen remodel, gave us a ballpark estimate of the total cost and then emailed us a computer-generated image of how the new cabinets and appliances might look. He followed up with an email asking if we had questions, concerns or wanted to change things in the design--very professional and courteous. Another thing we liked was that, when he first arrived, he asked, "Do you cook? How often do you entertain?" He based his design suggestions on how we will use the space, rather than on some theory of how a kitchen ought to be organized. He also looked around the house at adjacent rooms that might be modified to provide additional storage space (our existing kitchen is really small). We have put this project on hold because of other things that came up, but we will definitely keep Dollman in mind in future.

The provider started the project a month ahead of the scheduled time. The renovation entailed removal and replacement of tub and surround as well as tiling of floor and installing of new faucets.They also replaced the light/heat/fan fixture in the ceiling. The entire project took 5 days. Mr. Dollman's employees performed the work in a timely and skilled manner. They made sure that they had materials we had selected and were always very professional.

From day one when they began the demo, to the final touches of paint this has been a wonderful experience. Dollman Construction cut through the brick walls of my garage and installed beautiful new windows as well as replacing the garage door with french doors and windows on either side. After framing, the interior walls and ceiling were brought up to code for electric, insulated, boarded and plastered. When I just couldn't decide what type of fans and lighting fixtures to purchase, they guided me through this part of the remodel and I'm beyond thrilled with all of our choices. They installed the flooring and did all the painting as well as making sure I had the numerous electrical outlets that I requested. The contractor helped me design custom cabinets that run the entire length of the sunroom (over twenty feet). They built a custom fitted laundry area in the back of the sun room and also built a utility closet to my specifications. As a change order, they installed a new heating/ac system for me and found a more efficient system than we had originally discussed, thus saving me at least $3000.00. While the sunroom work was going on they were also working on totally remodeling my kitchen. The kitchen demo was quick and painless. I was never out of the loop on anything, especially the custom cabinets for the kitchen and all of the lighting choices. There was an unattractive brick wall in the kitchen that needed to be incorporated into the new design and the contractor gladly took on this challenge with the end result being spectacular. The flooring and painting in the kitchen are fantastic and at all stages through out the build, the crew has kept my home beautifully clean. They have washed my windows, taken down screens, moved appliances and kept everything neat and tidy. They even removed their shoes when walking across my carpet. Believe it or not, all the time that the sunroom and the kitchen were being created, there was another Dollman crew working on converting my deck into a screened-in porch. This also has been a wonderful experience. They have installed skylights in the newly built cathedral ceiling that are just perfect and the new roof is a work of art in itself. Initially the screen porch was just a general idea for me, but the contractor took my idea and ran with it, creating an extra living space that I'm still in awe of. I have to admit that I did change my mind several times throughout the build, but the contractor and all the crew have been wonderful about everything, never promising anything that could not be followed through on. I cannot imagine a more positive experience, and am already planning more changes in the future. Thanks Angie's List for leading me this company!

They came out and look at the property and I got a quote. Their quote was way too high and out of my budget. He was friendly, professional and nice. He was pretty much on time.

Outstanding job at a reasonable price completed in a timely, professional fashion. Of three quotes they were the best not just in terms of price, but also features/detail. Communication was good from the quote through completion. They actually finished ahead of schedule and their hustle didn't diminish the professionalism or attention to detail. The did an excellent job of keeping materials out of the hedges and beds and did a great job of clean up when done. We love our new roof! We'll use them on the next project!

Our 6 year old upscale house had a beautiful no maintenance decking on it when we bought it a few months ago, but the deck supports were not installed to code...the 10 foot high deck was only nailed in place and the supporting posts were sitting unattached to the concrete patio. Dollmans crew secured it properly with bolts and anchors and attached the posts properly. They came even sooner than anticipated and completed the job without delay and cleaned up before leaving. Mr. Dollman stopped by later to make sure the job was done properly. I would definitely recommend them.

This was an outstanding job! The house looks totally different! We could not be happier and were very please with the work done by the contractor. Their communication from start to finish was excellent. The job got behind by a week but this was to be expected and was communicated to us about a week in advance of it occurring. We fully expect to use them again for more work we plan to do in our home!

1. The roofing project was completed in a prompt and efficient manner with minimum disruption to the occupants. The workers were professional and worked very hard in extremely hot weather. They were very careful to avoid any damage to the building and cleaned up all construction debris. 2. & 3. These two projects were both completed in a timely and professional manner . In summary, I have been completely satisfied with the cost and quality of the work by Dollman Construction.

They started the job when they said they would. They were on time every day and were very professional and courteous to my staff and our clients. The porch looks wonderful and we are very pleased with the work they did. We would certainly recommend them to any business as they took extra care to ensure the least amount of disruption to the members of the firm and our clients.

While I did not choose Dollman, I was very impressed with the company. Mr. Dollman was prompt, friendly, and very knowledgeable. I would consider Dollman Construction for other projects.

This house is a rental property and the tenant was waiting to move in. There were a few issues that had to be addressed first, like the broken window. Also the dryer, which is located in the basement, was not vented. Since this was a new rental, there were some other items that just had not been done. I needed to have a mailbox mounted on the side of the house - which is brick. I also need the house numbers mounted on the brick. The door to the basement was sticking so badly that it was a safety concern. Jimmy came on Wednesday to look at everything. I thought that since it was such short notice, he would have to take care of the most important issues first,and then follow up with the rest at a later date. Jimmy actually worked on Sunday and got EVERYTHING completed so the tenant could move in immediately. The quality of his work was excellent and he was very professional!

Work was completed in a very timely manner in spite of a storm which knocked out our power. The new windows were a different size/shape so there was some construction involved. Rob did a beautiful job and even returned to put the finishing touches on the drywall. We had one small problem with an electrical outlet, and Rob came back the same day I called. We are having them come back when I'm ready to have drywall installed in the living room. Great Job!

I called several people that didn't show up or when they did they never called me back with a quote. When I called Dollman Construction they showed up the same day and he gave me a quote while he was there. The work was started on time and completed ahead of schedule. My yard was left clean everyday. The workers were very nice and I have since hired them to repair brick on the back of my house. I wish I had called these guys first. I would recommend this company to anyone that is tired of the frustrating process of hiring a contractor.

We ended up purchasing a new home which had the features we wanted to add on to our current home but up until that point, we worked with Jimmy to draw up the scope of our home improvement project. Jimmy was always on time, readily available either via e-mail or by telephone, and was well versed in his field. As "smart homeowners", we met with another contractor just to compare prices and services and the other contractor showed up 15 minutes late, and we really felt like he wasn't listening to what what we wanted. Jimmy was always on time, heard our wants and needs for the project, and was very professional. We would definitely use him should our new home need upgrades or any add-ons.

We hired Dollman Construction to do the design work for our remolding project. We loved the ideas they came back with! Dollman Construction started the project about a week sooner than expected which was convenient for us. Overall the project went extremely well! We would recommend this company to anyone.

Overall,he was very professional,neatly dressed and called to let me know he was running a little late.I will not hire him due to the awfully high price to replace my facia board.

They were punctual and professional. Everything went very well. I will use his company in the future for my home improvement needs. The crew took out the old staircase and replaced it with one that makes access to attic easier and safer.

He was a nice guy and very kind. He provided a quote pretty quick I just decided to use another company. But I would consider using him in the future if needed

We tried to contact several contractors to which they would all say "sure we will come out there tomorrow" and then they would never show up. This was extremely frustrating. We were at the point of thinking we would never find anyone to help us fix our problem. We decided to give it one last shot. That is when we contacted Dollman Construction. They gave us the same response "sure we will be out there"and they did. We hit the jackpot! They did show up. Dollman Construction was very knowledgeable, prompt, and eased our worries. They showed up on the day that was scheduled, on time, and fixed our leaking roof. We were so pleased with the job they did that we had the Dollman Construction do a few other jobs for us. I would highly recommend this company to my friends and family.

Dollman Construction met with us and designed our family room and master suite addition. The project went great. They started on time and cleaned the job site daily. When the crew did the demolition in the house they were very careful to protect our floors and there was less dust than we had anticipated. The workers were very nice. Jimmy worked with us on making all of our material selections and they look great. The addition is absolutely beautiful! The hardwood looks wonderful! The master bathroom shower that they built is incredible.We love the granite top too. The exterior of the addition looks like part of the original house.The addition was designed and built for handicap access to allow us to stay in our home longer without assisted living or a nursing home. Jimmy gave us great advice on the features we needed to achieve our goals of staying in our home. We have since used Dollman for several other smaller repair projects at our home and for replacing the storm damaged roof on our business. We will use these guys again in the future if we need a contractor.

We had Mr. Dollman come out to our house to discuss building our addition. He prepared plans and provided an estimate in about a week. Before construction could be started a cement patio had to be removed. Construction was started on time according to our agreement. We encountered no unforseen construction problems. I'm very pleased with the way the addition looks and I have received many compliments. We have given out many referals and our friends have also used Dollman Construction. I enjoy spending time in my addition.
