Description of Work: I had a leak in my heater. There were two parts that needed to be replaced. The parts had to be ordered. I spoke to the rep and advised my disabled mother was at home and not to discuss things with her as she has had a stroke and has a heart condition and to call me with anything that needed to be done. I was told that would be done and they would call me. They didn't call me. In the afternoon I called my mother who was very upset about the heater and had understood that it was over 800 and she told them to order the parts. THIS is why I told them not to talk to her. She doesn't understand and does NOT need to be thinking about things like this due to her health situation. I have used them before and was very satisfied. This time I think the price was quite a bit higher for two parts and the labor seems to have gone up. He came, put the parts in. They were leaking that evening. I had to call in the morning and have them come back and tighten the parts again and now it is working; they were there quickly. I am a person who likes to use ONE company and not have to switch around. This time I was a bit upset. I hate to think I have to change companies but I am concerned that my concerns are being overlooked.

Description of Work: There was no duct work. My house is 1700 square foot with a basement. Took two days and I had to call them back the first evening because it was not cooling but there wasnt freon in the system enough and had to work itself through there and they were right there when I called and it was freezing in here when I got home. Perfect. Very nice people to work with .

Mr Farris was very thorough and professional as he checked the A/C unit and ventilation. Discussed types of filters to use and helpful hints when adjusting the dampers in the attic during summer and winter months

+ -1 moreThe estimator was extremely professional. He didn't try to upsell anything, and answered my questions in a straight-forward manner. I wanted to replace my current hvac system with a system that met the federal tax credit qualifications, but didn't have all the bells and whistles that are available on today's more expensive systems. That's exactly what Bower provided. I met the inspector the Monday after the system was installed and he noted a few things that needed to be corrected. I called Bower, and they came first thing in the morning to take care of the inspector's concerns. I would definitely recommend Bower Heating and Air to anyone looking to replace their HVAC system.
Description of Work: Replaced A/C with high efficiency heat pump. Replaced oil furnace with high efficiency gas furnace.
