Called Woodfin after when the A/C was out on a very hot day and another installation company did not return my call. They came quickly and Tim was able to diagnose and fix a tricky problem left by the contractor. It was a complicated fix, but they did it with the highest degree of professionalism. I will be using them from now on. Tim, Woody and James are all GREAT and highly recommended!

Brendon was the plumbing representative that came out to our home. He arrived on time, we spoke about any problems or concerns we've had over the past year and he performed his inspection. He addressed all our concerns and provided information and tips that should be very helpful going forward. He is a U.S. Army veteran, which I think speaks highly of Woodfin and it's employees. We also had a little social time when we talked about common places we both have been. He was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Ryan was our air conditioning inspector. He has been in our home before and also arrived on time. While we were talking about any problems or concerns we've had over the past year, Ryan was getting to know our Siberian Husky all over again. He then performed the inspection on both our A/C units including fans, compressors, pressures and safety features. No problems were found and he provided us a copy of the inspection report, said goodbye to our dog and left. Ryan was very professional, thorough, knowledgeable and friendly.

I've used them for years. When there was a problem that I needed delivery, they are very quick to respond. They do give you a discount if you pay within so many days. They're very timely. You pick up the phone and you call them, if they can't make it that day, they will be there the next day.

They installed a water heater at a house I was in the process of selling. The first potential buyers to come by after the installation noticed a strong smell of gas in the garage. I called Woodfin up, not very happy, and asked them to fix it, which they did. But now they are billing me for coming out. So they probably cost me a few potential bids on the house, and then they charged me to come out to fix their mistake. I'd say the original price they quoted was good, but when you factor in the additional amount they billed me for their mistake, plus the hassle of dealing with it, plus driving away potential buyers for my property, I'd say I probably should have gone with a higher cost, higher quality company. Live and learn.

They were much easier to work with than other companies we contacted, their pricing and agreements are essentially similar to the competiton ($59 a month for top level package), but we felt more items were included with their price, and upgraded quality (touchscreen, mobile apps, keyless entry, etc.). There was no pressure to their sales pitch, the installs were seamless and they followed up afterwards ti see if we had any questions. Would definitelt recommend them to others.

Adam G. did an excellent job! It was so nice to come home to heat and air from work. He was very through with his work! Woodfin is definitely my #1 home team!

I had yearly plumbing inspection befor the above job was done and the plumber was great. Answered many plumbing questions I had. The plumber who removed and replaced the above faucets was prompt, courteous, and worked solidly for 4 or more hours. The job made me pleased to have the 2 outdated faucets replaced with the new ones I had purchased earlier the week before. He also updated the plumbing lines that were also old and outdated, amd explained why they were needed. I have used Woodfin for my HVAC and plumbing and have always been pleased with their work, courtesy and would highly recommend their services. The office staff is also very professional and efficient . It seems that all the staff I have met enjoy their work and like working for this company.

Wonderful, no problems found, technician cleaned and prepared it for the spring/summer seasons.

We were desperate to find someone to stop a major plumbing leak in our kitchen. The shut off valve was under the house and we could not get to it. The problem is a major repair job. The plumber from Woodfin came quickly, diagnosed the problem and capped the plumbing to bypass the kitchen so we could use water in the rest of the house until they could come out and do the rest of the work. The technician was great and very helpful. He spent longer at the house than I would expect for the cost of this initial work.

It was a large job. The techs arrived on time, were efficient, tidy, and professional. They also determined that part of the original diagnosis of the work to be done was unnecessary and adjusted the estimate to reflect the abbreviated work.

The office staff was polite and professional. The plumber diagnosed the problem immediately (we had a plumber from another company come earlier who misdiagnosed the problem, made an incorrect fix and suggested the problem would be expensive to fix if it continued). The plumber was polite and professional. We would certainly ask for this plumber again.

I have had experience with other HVAC companies in the past and this is the best company I have found. They were very professional and I had absolute confidence that they were being honest with me about what needed to be done. They also gave us a one year warranty for the work. Although I gave them a B for price because it was quite expensive but I think probably I couldn't have gotten the same work done for much less if at all, another contractor quoted practically the same price but wanted all the money on completion whereas after giving me the quote, Woodfin very kindly agreed to let me split the payments over 3 monthly installments, which was a bonus.

This company is one of the best I have ever dealt with. They are professional, courteous and their employees are skilled and eager to help homeowners learn from the problems they take care of. The plumber replaced the defective hose and showed me what had happened. My only problem with with Woodfin is that their prices seem to be very high in all their services.

Woodfin was extremely helpful and responsive in getting a new account setup and next day delivery of oil.

I contacted Woodfin to reinstall a toilet which I had removed in order to check for a leak. This is a very simple, straight-forward job which should have only taken a matter of minutes. I was extremely disappointed when the gentleman quoted me a price over $350. He then proceeded to tell me that I would save a significant amount of money if I were to sign-up for their "plumbing plan" which, if I remember correctly, cost in the neighborhood of $200-300. I understand many companies thrive off of offering service plans to their customers. However, it's inappropriate to push these plans when all a customer needs is a very minor repair or service performed. To make matters worse, the gentleman did a rather poor job as he failed to cut the flange bolts or seal the toilet. I would not recommend Woodfin and do not intend to use them in the future. I have had excellent luck with Foster's Plumbing in the past and highly recommend them to anyone needing plumbing, heating, or AC repair.

This was part of our annual maintenance contract, so there was no charge for this visit. The service technician was efficient and knowledgeable; and answered our questions and addressed our concerns very satisfactorily. He recommended a reseating of a toilet to insure against the potential of damage at a later date, and we took his advice.

There was no charge because the call was under our annual maintenance agreement and the repair itself was done under warranty. James was able to explain the possible causes of our problem (no heat from the heat pump) in a clear and comprehensible way. He checked with us before proceeding to insure that his diagnosis and repair would not inconvenience our schedule for the day. Fortunately the cause of the problem was the simpler of the two possibilities, and so he had the old malfunctioning item removed and the new installed in the space of an hour or so. He made helpful additional recommendations to insure the efficient functioning of the system.

the Problem was resolved to my satisfaction. And I will use them again, and will consider them for a price quote in the future.

Todd was very neat, timely and informative. He was careful to explained what he had to do and how the process was going to unfold. He made it possible for us to have a some limited power while the install was going on, which made our lives comfortable - the essentials TV , internet. and two refrigerators. He and the rest of the Woodfin team were respectful of our home and more than willing to answer question and explain what they were doing and why. The complete process has gone smoothly from the quote from Alex to the installation. There are a few items still to be done due to a new gas line being installed, but Woodfin is ready as soon as that event happens to finish the install. Alex. my service adviser who sold me the system, stopped by to see how all was going. I am glad I chose them for this project and is why I have them maintain my home - electrical, plumbing and HVAC.

We live in a two story house and we were only getting the first floor on it. I felt that the price for just getting it for one floor of our house was more than I thought it should be.

All went very well. Matt called to advise he was en route, arrived at scheduled time, and immediately began work. He finished job in reasonable time, was cordial, and cleaned up properly. I would welcome his return.
