Description of Work: Condensate line from attic minisplit AC had fallen off outside, and the condensation was leaking into the room. They charged 99 for the visit, up to 99 for an extra guy to hold the ladder, and a mix/mash of parts (a single metallic hose clamp) and labor. THe repairman said that the installation was not done properly and did not have the clamp. They did the installation... so they reluctantly reduced to 99. I thought this to be dishonest.

Description of Work: Our gas heat was not working. It was determined that the automatic damper was not working so he permanently locked it open and cleaned the flame area. David was friendly and professional. He explained the options and what made the best sense both economically and from his professional opinion. I appreciated his straightforwardness and honesty. I would definitely use this company again.

{Member's name} We were sorry to hear of the poor rating that you gave our propane department. Unfortunately propane prices vary quite a bit based upon quantity delivered, tank ownership, whether an account is set up for automatic or will call delivery and other factors. Every company has their own criteria that determine pricing. Some companies also add on fees for Hazmat, fuel surcharge, delivery charge, etc. that will increase the net cost to the consumer. I am sure we aren't the lowest price in all cases but I am also sure we are not always the highest, particularly when you take into account that our price is our price and there are no additional fees. We make every effort to price our product fairly, consistently and transparently and to accompany that with the best service possible. I am sorry your experience with us was not a more positive one. Description of Work: Outstanding service. I had called for a second opinion on mold growing in our air handler. The company I had been using (which has become part of a national chain) had tried to sell me a UV light to eliminate and prevent the mold for $1,500, which seemed ridiculous. Woodfin offered the same solution for less than $400! Unlike the other company, he didn't try to up-sell us on anything else, and he spent time explaining to us what was going on and how the UV light would work. He also suggested some lower cost options for our vent filters. I had always heard good things about Woodfin, and I'm now I'm so glad I called that I'm switching our maintenance agreement over to them. Highly recommended.
