Great company to deal with, from the comfort advisor who came by to give me the estimate, to the plumbers and electricians (and their helpers) who worked hard in our recent heat, to billing services who helped me to set up on-line access to my account. Everyone was very friendly and professional, always showing up on time when promised, making sure I was fully informed on the work that was being done and what was coming up next. I hired Woodfin because they were the only company who could do a complete turn-key installation, including propane delivery, and because of our previous experience with them many years ago when they delivered heating oil to my former home. I'm very pleased with the job that was done and will continue to use them for electrical and plumbing work in the future. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs any of these services.

Two days after signing contract, the unit was installed which was 5 days earlier than expected. Since I had no air for approximately two weeks and have respiratory problems, this was truly appreciated and a blessing. The installers were very professional and fast.

A company we had paid $150 to check our furnace previously told us there was no hope for the furnace and it would need to be replaced. The gentleman from Woodfin cleaned a few things, replaced the filter, added an automatic shutoff switch that switched the furnace off when our outdoor oil tank gets too low, and checked a few other things for us. Now the furnace works great and we do not have to worry about burning the furnace up if the oil gets too low.

They are pretty good. They show up when they said they are going to show up. I have no complaints. I like them. They are polite and they show up and they do the work and explain what they are doing.

And estimate on new faucets and some electric work. the work done was good. they were very professional and the overall experience was good. I felt they were expensive on most of their pricing and even overly expensive on some of it. I was able to get done for a much lower price. example 450.00 was quoted for the kitchen faucet replacement. I had it done for 200.00 the electric was estimated at 625 I got it done for 125 but I would use them again just being very cautious about the cost.

It was a nightmare! And still is. I have a dog in the back yard where much of the work needed to be done. They never called when they were supposed to so many appointments had to be rescheduled. I took whole days off that they didn't show up after arrangements are made. No calls then either. There were times they are to meet utility companies here. Also very badly coordinated. I complained and asked for a reduction in charges. They refused AND charged interest and late fees on financing I didn't process as the agent said it was too much paperwork when I asked about it. This was last summer. Last month they called out of the blue to ask if I knew they were to meet the gas company at the house as the dog was in the yard. I was at work and had never been contacted our told I would be as the merged had to be exchanged (should have been done last summer). A month late (2/10/14) the gas company shows up UNANNOUNCED but neither he nor the office when I called could reach the person who was supposed to meet him there. I was told to keep trying to reach! I refused saying that was their job not mine and asked to speak with his supervisor. Couldn't reach him either. Still don't have a return date scheduled.............

I used Woodfin a few years ago to replace my hot water heater. Fortunately I have not had a need to call until now. My heat/AC unit was making terrible noises. Finally today, my heat would only come on in emergency mode. Since I had good experiences in the past with Woodfin I called again. The technicians who should up were very nice and professional. They examined everything and determined the cause of the noise which was loose screws. Of course the heat was working when they showed up so they made notes about potential issues which may need to be addressed at a later date. The best thing about Woodfin is their honesty and professionalism. They do not overcharge or fix things needlessly. I have used them in the past and will continue to use them as needed.

The Electrician, Jaye was a jewel. He was professional , on time and explained all information in detail.

They're very honest. I just can't say enough good things about them. When they say they're going to be there, they're there. The salesman followed up. They are really good people. I've never had a problem with the technicians. The cost was not outrageous. I would still use their services if I was in the area. I have a girlfriend who uses their services as well.

From beginning to end, I was completely satisfied with the service from Woodfin. The salesman, Jeff Sanders, went above board in making sure my experience was excellent in dealing with his company. He patiently and professionally explained my options in purchasing a new furnace. He even offered his own personal heater until the furnace could be installed. Woodfin is my regular oil provider and I have always found them to be helpful and professional. I would highly recommend this company.

Woodfin is always prompt and was this last visit, too. The plumber showed up right on time (there is a 3-4 hour window when he may arrive and he got here at the earliest time.) The repair of three toilets with endless running water in their tanks and a mysteriously slow water output from my bathroom sink faucet only took about two hours, total. He diagnosed my slow faucet as a clogged aerator. He could have easily told me that I had a busted waterline under the house and I wouldn't have known the difference. He didn't even charge for the new aerator and the faucet is its old bubbly self again. The toilets don't run, ether, although their flushing power is somewhat diminished. (I just holod the handle for and extra second to get a little longer flush.) But between the endless running water in three toilets and the extra handle time, I'll take the extra handle time. (The house was built in 2004 and everything is breaking, it seems, at the almost-ten-year-mark.) And the plumber left everything very neat with no debris or dirt!

It has been a great experience for a huge project to update an older home. Lots to do, and it was expertly planned, arranged and excluded with terrific service and attitude. The Woodfin team work as a team, and they are all trustworthy and showed great respect for the home. If I had a question or concern, they responded to it immediately. Woodfin staff went out of their way doing things beyond expectations. Expert workmanship, experience to find solutions, good coordination and followup, quality products. Woodfin stands by their service and products. It was a relief not to have to different service providers; Woodfin could coordinate everything needing to be done - electrical, heating, HVAC, plumbing. They let me know when they would be there, and they were there on time. They got the work done as if it were for their own family.

Lawrence and Neill are the best--not only are they professional grade plumbers ( they know the materials, methods, and latest research ) they are efficient--they do not waste a minute getting the job done. These two work as a team and work well ( in sync ). This was a nasty job in the dead heat of summer and they were cheerful, methodical, CLEAN in their work, and they are also adept at explaining everything--the and quot;WHYand quot; something has to be done. There was old, rusted cast iron pipe under the house and it was leaking; also the water line had a leak and that was in the middle of the yard from the house to an outbuilding--they diagnosed, dug, installed, and tested--they also filled the trench in quite well--none of that sag and dip, wash away that I have seen with other plumber' work in my neighbors' yards. The grass grew back quite nicely and there is no rift in the yard. Highly recommend these two!!

Woodfin came out on the 8th in the a.m . on time and send a really talented and polite and well spoken man to give me the attic fan estimates. I was very pleased to hear that the broken unit could be repaired by motor replacement, and a new unit easily installed. The price was high, but I was able to negotiate a 15% off rate. Michael W. came out on time and in 3 hours the work was completed and the atttics noticeable cooler!!! He was VERY PROFESSIONAL, and represented his employer extremely well! I have used Woodfin in the past 12 months for various jobs, i.e.electronic thermostat installation, HVAC repair, and now the attic fan. Because Woodfin is a multitalented, multi-fixit company, it is worth checking with Woodfin first. Sometimes their prices are higher and the job needs to go elsewhere due to a higher quote. They have worked the numbers down for me in the past, but some quotes remain high. But I do say, get their quote 1st.

My furnace made a loud high pitched sound in the middle of Saturday night. It was so loud it woke me up. I turned off the furnace and could smell a burning odor from the furnace. I stayed up all night to be sure everything was okay. First thing Sunday morning I called Woodfin and a service technician came to fix it a couple of hours later. A part shorted out and burn't out on the front of the furnace and that is why I could smell something burning. He said that part should not have burn't like it did. He fixed it and I have heat again.

It went pretty well. I was particularly impressed that once they found out what the problem was, they referred us to a competitor to get it fixed because the competitor had better technology. That's a high integrity move you don't see very often.

We called for service on our old oil boiler, discovered that it was not just beyond repair but was a very serious risk to our home. Woodfin came out and gave us and estimate and installed our new boiler/furnace the next day. We were especially appreciative because it was not just our heat but our hot water also. They were professional and timely. I've been told I could have paid a lot less from other sources but Woodfin came as soon as we called and provided excellent service and I'm good with the choice to use them. Highly recommend them for their support and professionalism.
