Description of Work: Handled small repair on second floor AC unit. Serviceman who handled the job was very professional and did a great job. Scheduling was a bit difficult, as they only set a date for service and did not provide any window for arrival time. We plan to use them again in the future for HVAC / Electrical work, provided we are able to schedule work in advance with a specific time frame.

Description of Work: My landlord had a contract with Woodfin where they would come on the same date for an issue. Multiple times they came out to fix an issue with the oil heater as it was shutting off. Woodfin did a good job of explaining the issue to me and then calling my landord to see what he would pay for (simple fix or something more expensive). In all cases the heat was able to be turned on the same date and the repair men were very professional.

Description of Work: They were to install central air in my home. First the salesperson did not explain exactally how the "pipes" would go through the house. And he gave me an incorrect bid. When they came to start the job, they discovered that they could not attach it to the furnace and would have to do something else. This gave me less than a week to clear space in my attic. But the worst part was they they upped the cost by better than $2000., did not provide an energy star unit as I had requested. The crew wasnice with the exception of the electrician who knocked something off the wall and did not replace it.

I was sorry to read your posting as we thought that everything had been worked out to your satisfaction almost 2 years ago prior to the actual work in question being performed. Granted our sales person did not correctly handle your estimate and actually his employment was terminated because of it. The duct system we installed for you was installed at our bare cost of labor and materials and actually you have a much better system than you would have if we had been able to attach it to your furnace duct system. I noticed that you have never had a service call on the system since it was installed, so I assume it has been performing properly. Description of Work: Maintenance on heating system. Repaired old part. Recommended further repair, but suggested that it might be covered under our home warranty (since we recently purchased the house) and it will be. Saved us a bunch of money!
