Description of Work: Installed a fireplace.

Description of Work: Nothing. Charged me $$$ to tell me he couldn't do anything. Couldn't tell me the parts I needed to get my fireplace operational.

Description of Work: They installed a gas heater.

Description of Work: I purchased a direct vent gas coal insert from their shop and Mike (one of the owners) and his plumber assistants did the installation. We live in the Fan and most of our fireplaces have been closed up (bricked in and plastered over). We wanted to recreate a fireplace in our family room. Mike spent much of the day hacking away at the brick and making a space for the insert. He had an amazing, can-do attitude and stayed late to finish the job, even though he was running a half-marathon the next day. Even though it was a messy job, he laid down tarps and brought in special vacs, leaving the house just as he had found it. He is very knowledgeable and I suspect he knows more about fireplaces, chimneys, etc. in old houses than anyone else in town. I wouldn't trust an install in a tricky old house with anyone else. The only reason I put a "B" for price is that many of the products the shop sells are somewhat expensive. But the quality is very high, they sell things you can't find elsewhere, and they provide really good advice. They also don't try to unnecessarily up-sell you to something more expensive if something else will work. I consider the shop a good value and their installation fees were extremely reasonable for the amount of work that had to be done. I highly recommend the shop and hope to have them install more fireplaces in the future. We really love our Windsor insert. It looks beautiful in our old home.
