From the first contact with Underground Services until the last, everyone I dealt with was profressional and courteous. The office personnel who provided the initial information and estimate and who kept me updated on the progress of the project -- which was mired by complications caused by the City and not Underground Services -- was an example of exemplary customer service. In addition, the people who actually performed the service were likewise professional and always willing to let me know what was going on and why. They worked with the City to obtain the best solution for our sewer line replacement and did not charge me more because of the City's problems, even though they had to do more work, over a longer time period, than anticipated by the estimate and contract. I would recommend this company to anyone facing sewer line replacement. The best company with the best service and highest level of customer service and integrity.

I kind of had an emergency because I did not have any water so they sent someone out right away. They could not repair it right away because they did not have the right equipment, but they had another service man in the area that had the right equipment so he finished his call and came over the same day. Instead of leaving me alone with no water they fixed everything and finished the job right away. They are very knowledgeable and service-oriented. The owner is a woman and we connected; she knows what it is like to have kids in the house and no water.

We Bought the coupon off of Angie's list and they came out right away. It was an awful cold and rainy day but they worked through it all. The technology they have to mark exactly where the problem was really helped us out. The camera they have was amazing. The best part was for us we discovered that the major blockage we had was on the county's end and they took care of it. Their quick response bought us some time by opening up the pipe with the high pressure cleaning. Over all this was a great company to work with and the coupon they offer is a great deal.

They came out and had a hard time finding the outside pipe inlet cap so they could use the camera to inspect the pipe. They had to use the inlet in my utility room. In the course of using their cameria they found the outside inlet cap. I was so surprised that we had PVC piping, as our house was built in 1977, we are the second owners and did not have any piping replaced. I was getting nervous that as I came and went in my neighborhood that occasionally I came across a yard dug up from the house to the sewer hookup. When this deal came along I got it and I am glad that I did. It is such a relief that I do not have to worry about tree roots, voles or moles digging through the pipe, the pipes crumbling or have the entire pipe system replaced. The camera showed a really clean pipe system and as I said it was a huge load off of my shoulders.

I had a water leak, they came out to use their leak detection system. They found the area of the leak, but could not pinpoint exactly where it was. The owner came back out the next day, found the leak, and fixed the leak. She reassured me that they would take care of it and not charge me additional.

Three guys arrived at 8:30 am and started digging up my front yard from house (went under the front sidewalk) to the street. I was very impressed with their efficiency and neatness. From start to finish it took them about 8 hours, but part of that time was waiting for the County inspector before they could close up the hole. They turned an unexpected and unpleasant experience into one that I can now boast about. So glad I found them on Angie's List!!

Called to have bathroom sink unstopped on Friday. (Plumber called previously said he could not unstop sink--probably needed line cleaned out). Talked extensively with person who answered phone--felt she was very knowledgeable and professional. Men came out on Monday, scoped (looked in drain with camera) to see if pipes were collapsed or broken; found out lots of sludge in drain from years of grease, etc. This is also the same pipe that takes away the kitchen drain. Jetted (high pressure water) out line and scoped. Unstopped drain and secured pipes under house which were coming loose. Called back the next day because washing machine drain was stopped up--they came right out and found out "trap" in drain was old and rusted which makes it back up. Cut out section of old pipe when it would not come "undone" and replaced with PVC. Young men who did the work were pleasant, respectful (elderly parents in home) and knowledgable. Cleaned up their mess. In all, they were there for 1/2 of two days. We felt they did a great job and the price was VERY reasonable for amount of work done. I would HIGHLY recommend them.

Underground Systems were fairly priced and great to deal with. They had a top notch crew that were extremely professional and knew what they were doing. They started on time, and put in extra hours when necessary. With the heavy equipment needed for the job I expected some damage to bushes and numerous trees near the work area, but damage was surprisingly minimal. I could tell they went out of their way to keep things as they were. I highly recommend this company.

The lady in the office and the two men who came to do the work were polite, professional, knowledgeable, helpful and pleasant. The men arrived on time and completed the job quickly. They informed me of what they were doing and why. I am very pleased with the service and I can thoroughly recommend this company.

I discovered that my water line to my house had been leaking water extensively for at least a few days. I contacted a couple of companies from Angie's List and decided to go with Underground Services due to their estimate and history with this type of problem. They said I could have the leaking pipe fixed or I could simply replace the whole pipe. I decided to have it replaced. The work went very well overall. They came on time the morning that they said they would be there. They set up their boring machine in the street and dug a fairly small hole/opening near the water meter and bored through this hole underground to the crawl space. They used a meter to determine the depth and direction as they bored. After the boring pipe came out under the house in the crawl space, they pulled the PE pipe and a small wire (to diagnose and be able to identify any possible future problems with the underground pipe) back through the hole and connected the new pipe to the water meter. They then connected the other end to the house water supply pipe in the crawl space. They put a high quality single handle shut off value at the junction with the house water supply pipe. This firm appears to be very concerned with customer satisfaction and for everything to be done correctly. They contacted me at the end of the installation to determine if I was happy with how the day had gone. To help me get some relief from the $400 water bill that I got from the city, Underground Services sent me a form of completion that I sent into the utility department in Richmond. I received a 50% rebate on my water bill.

Great did tear up my yard.

I had recurring problems with tree roots blocking my drain. Finally it got too bad to simply rod it out anymore,the line was diagnosed as broken. I was referred to Underground Services by somebody else on Angie's List (can't remember who). They came out within a week after I hired them. Although the job turned out to be more difficult than originally thought they still managed to complete most of the work in one day and came back the next day to clean up.
