The Mosquito Authority

Fabulous! Two men came and treated the entire yard to the extent that since then (last week in August) we have been mosquito free! It's such a joy to be able to work in my garden without having to cover every inch of my skin, PLUS apply repellant. I spend a great deal of my time outdoors!!

Did a great job, scheduling the treatment was very easy. I got several communications about when to expect the service man. He called ahead and showed up when he said he would. I have a huge backyard that I'm trying to clean out. The previous owner did a lot to the house, but the let the back yard go. Treating for mosquitos has been a great investment this summer. I definitely do it again.

They sprayed around the structure, the yard, and the trees.

Great! We saw a dramatic reduction in the number of mosquitos immediately following treatment. They accidentally treated the yard at our old address first, as we had just moved and hadn't updated our Angie's list profile. However, they took full responsibility for the mix-up and treated our new address just a couple days later free of charge.

I wanted to treat the back yard area around a pool which is probably 300 SF but was told that because my TOTAL property was larger that the 1/2 acre specified in the promotion my price would be higher so I declined the service. The ad said that the $39 price would treat up to 1/2 acre and that more could be purchased. I felt that that was slightly deceptive in that there is a larger wooded area behind my house that I was not interested in treating. I was contacted by the sales manager who offer to do it for $39 but said that they could only promise 80% success. After some back and forth on the phone I declined the offer.

It went great! Two different people in my yard to spray and they were courteous and thorough. No issues of mosquitos to date and with the Zika virus issues.

They have been great. We paid $39. I think the price was high for the boys to come spray for five minutes. I thought it was a little expensive. The quality is good. It has done really great for what it was because we had them really bad here. The first one that came, he came to the door, knocked, and said what he was going to do. The second one came and I did not even talk to him. The first one was very polite. He was an excellent young man and real nice.

The treatments worked as advertised except for one. When they were notified they came back and applied a second treatment.

I was very pleased. They arrived on time, treated my yard, deck, etc. Not only did I not have mosquitos, flies and other insects were deterred, as well. I would definitely recommend and use them again.

We used them most of the summer. They have gotten rid of our mosquito problem.

The tech came and treated the yard and was very thorough. Haven't seen a mosquito so far.

Things didn't go well. I was under the assumption they would call me before they came out. When they did come out they sprayed my neighbors yard by mistake and that didn't make my neighbor happy. They then came and sprayed my yard and I already have misquotes back a couple weeks later.

I didn't hear from them for the dates I provided online that I wanted service, so I had to call them twice to set up date of service. They came on the date agreed upon on the telephone and sprayed. I was pleased with the service overall and thought I got what I paid for. I would use this service again.

Excellent courteous and helpful

The gentleman arrived on a timely basis and was very courteous. The work performed has been first class. I would recommend them to all friends.

Always call and give me a heads up when they are on their way. Once here they do a very thorough job. They ask if there are any trouble spots or areas that may need extra attention and/or spraying. Once they leave they tell me (or call if I am not on the property) and let me know they have finished. And, they always remind to call them if anything comes up and needs attention before the next visit rolls around. Great service.

The Mosquito Authority called me promptly and scheduled the Mosquito Treatment appointment. The owner came with one of the worker for the treatment. They explained to me very clearly how the treatment would be done and benefits.

Great service, extremely professional, always follows up to let us know when they'll be there. Very responsive & professional. Definite decrease in mosquitos!

I wasn’t there when they actually did the work. It was very easy. Everything worked out great. I don’t have any complaints. It was a good cost. The quality of the service was so far so good. I plan to use them again in the future.

Fine. They came when they said they were. Mosquito population seemed to decreased so that was good.

They showed up when expected and called when they where on the way. They seem friendly and professional.

So far so good, in terms of the treatments; they call in advance, and I've definitely noted fewer mosquitoes. Office is a bit more aggressive about asking for payments than I would expect (particularly when service was performed within past 30 days), but overall the actual spraying has been effective and has reduced our mosquitoes. One other note - since this is a recurring service without a contract, my preference is to receive a bill for service and pay through my bank, but I believe they will now only perform service if I place a credit card on file. I am deciding whether to do this or to consider other companies that perform similar service.

Overall grade is a B as we still see a mosquito of two and have been bitten. However, the service does eliminate most all of the mosquitos. Whenever I have called to complain, they will send out a technician for an additional spray call free of charge. I really think it's a matter of the individual technician and how careful he is at spraying and how much he actually sprays.

The service was as expected. However the communication from the Mosquito Authority was been excellent. I get an email saying they are "on their way" and they usually call as well. They do a great job and have detailed notes about my plantings as areas to avoid.

Very good service. Setting the appointment was smooth and they confirmed vis phone the day before. I would recommend!
