Description of Work: They are painting most of the downstairs of our new home (walls and trim). The worker who is currently coming to our home to paint is very kind and courteous. He even offered to walk our dog :) We didn't make him do that, but the fact he offered just shows what good character he has. I have no problem knowing he is at my house all day while my husband and I are at work. He is very careful with his work. There are no short cuts. One room is all paneling so not an easy task covering it. He has spent 4 days just prepping the room for paint making sure everything is nice a smooth. I feel very confident the work is being done correctly. Also, Steve is very nice and always returns phone calls quickly. I am very satisfied with the work thus far and we plan to use them again when we decide to paint the upstairs.

+ -1 moreSteve showed up on time, was very neat and professional in his work and communications when quoting and discussing the work to be done and while work was in progress. I would recommend him to anyone who needed this type of work done and would use his services again.
Description of Work: Painted 2 bedrooms, hallway, foyer and stair areas, in addition to painting the great room. Painting included walls and as needed ceilings with 3 rooms needing 2 coats of paint to cover existing dark colors.

+ -1 moreI contacted Steve Blythe about 3 months ago. He came by, looked at the job, gave me an estimate that I thought was fair and I never heard from him again. I called him several times to ask if I were still on his schedule. He said "yes" but did not give me a start date. When I called again about 3-4 weeks ago, he said that he would do the job the following week. That week came and went and I never heard from him. I hired someone else.

+ 0 moreThe project took nearly 3 weeks...but it was well done. Between 1 and 4 painters showed up each day at 7:30 and worked steady until about 3. Everything was cleaned up each day.
Description of Work: Painted complete downstairs (minus laundry & Florida room) and complete outside. Including many carpenter repairs

+ -1 moreWe would definitely recommend Steve Blythe of Don't Faint I Paint again. He showed up on time and worked in extreme heat (90's with high humidity) and was finished in 5 days. The painters even worked over the weekend! They asked us if that was ok and we said fine.
Description of Work: The painter power washed the entire house, including the windows. He scraped, sanded and primed where it was needed and caulked around all of the windows and doors. He caulked all of the gutter joints and painted the gutters. He applied a coat of Benjamin Moore Aura Latex Paint. He cleaned up any mess that was made (which was minimal) and did an excellent job. The house looks brand new!

+ -1 moreRecommended by friends. Responded to first call. Developed a plan to get to hard to reach areas at time of estimate. Declined offer of extra money for a "cherry picker". Started and finished within proposed time frame. Workers on site less than eight hours per day because of extreme heat.
Description of Work: Very difficult exterior job, requiring skilled use of ladders. Done well. Estimate was in line with others.

He wasn't a messy painter as he covered up bushes and covered the lawn while working. I was impressed and satisfied with the ending results. There was not any hidden cost and he stuck to the price that he quoted me.
