Over a year ago I signed up with the property management firm. Things went well at first. They screened and selected a couple of tenants for me and got a good market price for me. Then things went down hill from there. There were a couple of times that they did not deliver the proceeds from the rent (rent minus commission) in a timely manner and I had to prompt them for the process. There were several times that they did not deliver the account statements in a timely manner and I had to prompt them for them. They would call me to authorize repair on things that were under $200 dollars when I wrote them not to contact me unless the repairs were over $200. They were inconsistent in the use of a home warranty service with a $100 deductible to which I gave them accessibility making it possible that I would in incur high repair cost. Sometimes I could get the property manager on the phone. He did not respond to my regular mail and rarely responded to my email. I got fed up and got rid of him. Toward the end his behavior was negligent or on the board of being negligent when he lost the keys I gave him for the property and he was stubborn about turning over the security deposit to the replacement property manager.
