Seay's Power Wash & Lawn Care

Called Company for an estimate. Was advised that he had 2 other homes in my area to give estimates to and he would call me the next evening with his estimate for bush trimming, lawn care and fertilizing. Gave both my home and cell number. DId not hear from him for 2 days and then he called my home number but did not leave a message. Never called my cell number. I called him twice more before reconnecting with him and was told that he would not come trim my bushes because there were bees out and he is allergic to bees and doesnt like them. He then asked if I could hold for a moment, I waited on hold for 3 minutes ( i was at work), he never came back to the phone. He had arrogance in his voice through the whole call. Never heard of a landscaper who would not do their yard work job because of bugs.

It's difficult for me to describe the tremendous amount of the work these gentlemen perform in such a short period of time and when they are done, the yard looks spectacular. Not only do they do fantastic work, but they clean up after themselves meticulously. I can't say enough good things about them.

Excellent! After reading all the good reviews, I expected prompt contact, pleasant response, reasonable price, speedy service and no problems. I got ALL of these things. I will hire him again. I'm thinking of having one of the houses power washed in the spring and he's the first guy I'll call.

He's AMAZING. He runs a one man company and is more professional than ANY of the lawn care companies in Richmond!! If you have problem areas in your yard - THIS IS THE MAN TO CALL!!

I sent an email and I was contacted immediately. Mr. Seay was very polite and professional. He told me what his availability was and we went from there. I couldn't meet him at my house because of work restrictions so he asked that I leave a check under my door mat and he would complete the work. Work was done satisfactorily and I have already recommended Mr. Seay to friends.

Charles called in advance to confirm. He arrived as scheduled. Work was completed within an hour or so. They bagged the debris removed from the gutter. Additionally, Charles provided some cost saving tips for future reference. I'm very pleased with the service provided

Mr. Seay met me right on time (actually he was a few minutes early) to look at the house and give me a quote on pressure-washing my house, roof and shed. In addition, the front gutter needed repair along with one on the rear of the house. He gave me a complete and reasonable quote and we set a date for the work. When the date arrived Mr. Seay again showed up early and worked till dark but was unable to complete the work. Rain prevented the work from being completed the next day and it was several days till the weather cleared. First clear day, there he was completing the work. The roof and house look great and he spent several hours on one section on brick that had ivy tracks and cleaned every spec away. So to summarize, Mr. Seay was always on time, actually did about 30% more work than he had anticipated........AND left me an invoice for approximately $100 less than the quote. I'm not just happy.....I'm ecstatic.

Not sure exactly what happened. Perhaps we did not get on his schedule soon enough, but after a couple more calls, we gave up on him coming to do the work. The last time I spoke with Charlie he is going to try and fit us in and that was fall of 2012.

Very professional. Prompt return of initial call, estimate within 2 days, and he was able to get job done within 2 wks, which is remarkable during the holidays. He gave us a call the day before service to let us know that he was coming out the next day. Crew did the job quietly, efficiently, and left everything clean.

I had him clean my gutters. I was happy with the job as he actually got up there and looked to make sure he was removing all leaves. He checked the down spouts to make sure they were emptying correctly. Then I had him aerate and seed my lawn. He was a little over priced for that though very professional and did good work.

I sent an email inquiry on a Sunday afternoon and got a call from Mr. Seay within a couple hours. We spoke about the particulars of my new (to me) home (a small one story brick ranch) and he gave an estimate right then. I work full time so I was having a tough time finding a convenient time to be home. Mr. Seay proposed coming by when I was at work, which he did. He called before he did the work to confirm the price, did the work, and called me when he was finished. He cleaned all the leaves from the ground and bushes and the only way I could tell he had visited was my gutters and roof were squeaky clean. So easy and convenient to work with. I'd definitely use him again. Thanks!

Called Charlie Seay after seeing him on Angie's List. We had a very productive initial call leading to a home visit to see the house and quote the work we desired. We originally wanted to have him also take on our ongoing lawn maintenance but he said he would not be able to take on that effort due to his existing client based. I really appreciated his honesty as opposed to him trying to take it on and either not get to it or get to it only after delays. He quoted what we felt was a more than fair price given the size of our house and outdoor deck. His work was of high quality, he left no mess behind and the look of out deck and siding continues to be great. We continue to use Charlie for ongoing gutter cleaning and the quality continues to be top notch. I highly recommend him.

Seay's was prompt to respond to my call, and came to do the job at a time that was convenient for me. They were very thorough and reasonable. I am planning to use them on an ongoing basis.

Never made it past estimate phase.

I called Charlie Seay on Thursday morning (10/25) as soon as it looked like Richmond was going to be hit by Hurricane Sandy. Our gutters needed cleaning because they were blocked up with pine needles and leaves. I was very concerned about our roof since it had leaked a bit in the last rain storm because of the clogged gutters. Charlie?s schedule was booked but after hearing my worries about our roof, he made room in his schedule on Friday (10/26) to clean the gutters. He did an amazing job. He had to take apart several gutters to unclog them. He bagged everything and didn?t leave any mess in the yard. I was very pleased with the work done and the gutters are weathering the storm quite well. He?s given me a price quote for gutter guards and when budget allows we?ll have him back to install the new gutters.

Charlie was very punctual returning my initial phone call. He was able to get to me in a timely manner. Charlie was punctual and did a great job. His work was thorough and done very well. He even found a separate issue that I need to address with my roof. He was very professional and made sure my personal items were safe from his cleaning chemicals. I would definitely use him again and highly recommend him!

He was on time, neat, and very respectable. He was very mindful of how I cared about my lawn. He did a beautiful job. He cleaned up very well. My house seemed like brand new when he was done.

Mr. Seay is very busy , and between schedules and rainy weather, it took a good while to actually come up with a date which worked for us both. That was a drawback. He called the day before to confirm and talked over gutter guard options, no hard sell of any particular type. He arrived on time the next day and spent aprox. 51/2 hours cleaning and installing. The yard was left clean with no debris or mess. Time will tell if the gutter guards work but I would use Mr. Seay again and I would recommend him.

I initially contacted Mr. Seay on August 15, 2012, requesting an estimate on power washing a sunroom and power washing/ staining a fence. I left a voice mail and he immediately returned my call. Mr. Seay indicated that he was on a job, however, he would contact me upon completion of his work that day, and, if I was available, he would be able to stop by that evening. Mr. Seay was able to stop by on that day and provided me with an estimate for the requested services, in addition to his recommendations regarding staining the fence inside and out, etc. Mr. Seay indicated that it would probably be three to four weeks before he would be able to do the job. Additionally, I had contacted several other contractors regarding estimates, and knowing someone was home, they simply just dropped an estimate off, in the mailbox, based only on telephone message and no further discussion. By weeks end I had decided to use Mr. Seay and contacted him to confirm. My decision to use Mr. Seay was based on his approach and professionalism. Mr. Seay actually looked at the job, made suggestions and was up front about the timeframe. Mr. Seay contacted me to set up the appointment, arrived on time and job has been completed. The quality of the work received is highly commendable and the professionalism and services received are rare. I would highly recommend Mr. Seay to anyone, and I will definitely use him again. It's great to know that there is at least one contractor out there who still "talks the talk and walks the walk." JOB WELL DONE.!!

Mr. Seay came by to give me an estimate, I was not here at the time but he later called with the estimate. They were prompt, friendly and professional on a hot and sticky day. The part that I was most impressed with is the clean up. It was all bagged up. I appreciate his blowing off the roof because it would have just ended up in the gutters. I will use him again in a heart beat.

The experience was great. I had neglected my gutters for some time and they were full of debris. As a result, I needed my gutter's cleaned ASAP, and I knew that might be tough to accommodate. When I called Seay's, I spoke to Mr. Seay himself, and he said that they would potentially be over that afternoon after he finished his other scheduled jobs, but at worst would be over the next morning which happened to be Saturday. He called about 5 to ask if they could still come and do the job that day. They showed up a short time later, provided me a quote, and immediately got to work. They worked efficiently and within a little more than an hour were finished. Overall, I couldn't be happier with the whole experience.
