Mr. Seay gave an estimate ahead of time and set a day to perform the work. He was able to come several days earlier than projected, but called first to make sure the new day would be convenient for me. He cleaned the gutters, adjusted the gutter screens which had fallen into the gutters, cleaned up all the debris that came out of the gutters and bagged it. He pressure washed the whole house and the brick steps leading to our front door. The house looks like it's been freshly painted and there is no overpowering bleach smell. I am extremely pleased with the work he performed and have recommended him to friends already. I will certainly be calliing him again.

Charlie was extremely professional from the first phone call, scheduling a time to come by and give us an estimate within days of my original email. We thought his price was extremely fair and the next week he came out to aerate, seed and fertilize our yard as well as put down lime to kill off some moss that was growing in our front and back yard. It was so nice to see a bright green lawn beginning to grow after only a week! We're a month and a half in now and have a lovely green lawn in the middle of November. Neither my husband nor I have a particularly green thumb, so we've asked Charlie to continue to maintain our lawn for us. He offered to call us when our next fertilization was necessary, and like clock-work, he came out last week to re-fertilized our lawn. He also seeded two tiny areas that didn't come up the first round without an additional charge. I can't speak highly enough about Charlie's personal service, positive attitude and great work!

They moved the furniture, blew the leaves, and put everything back. They are very courteous and thorough. If he was going to be even 5 minutes late, he would call to let me know. They are very nice people. I am so happy with the service I received. I would definitely recommend them.

We had our house power washed and the gutters cleaned. FYI, this was our first Angie's List deal and we were extremely satisfied with the work of Mr. Charlie Seay (Owner) and his helper. Charlie explained what he would do and worked very hard to get rid of all the dirt/mildew (especially on the north side of the house). The house looks great and I wish that I could show 'before and after' pics. We will use Charlie in the future and will recommend him to friends. Total satisfaction: A+

We used the special offer this company made to Angie's list subscribers, but we will use the provider again. We have a 2.5 story house and were impressed by the safety awareness of the employees. They did a great jog.

I took advantage of a member deal for having the gutters cleaned ($99), and since Charlie does pressure washing, I had my house done too. I didn't know if I was going to have the money for it, and when I told him this he said that even if he needed to use a ladder, he would only charge me $150. So, I had both done today. Charlie and his worker arrived right on time and went right to work. My gutters were in very bad shape, as I should have had them done 2 or 3 years ago! When Charlie got up there, he not only cleaned them out but he drilled all the loose pins back in and added pins where they were missing. No charge for this either! The house had a lot of mold/mildew build up on the north side, and I now it looks amazing! I will use him again for sure. He was very pleasant to talk to, and didn't pressure me to do anything more than what he came here for. In fact, when I asked him about a few items that I thought may need work done, he actually said that I could wait.

Seay's service was excellent - same day estimate and work for a reasonable price. Gutters were cleaned and no mess was left behind. Will definitely be using again and would recommend to anyone.

We're in our second season with Charlie Seay and Maurice and couldn't be happier. This trip was our second annual autumn lawn care ritual. Last year's ritual produced a lush green 'carpet' around our house when spring came. We are incredibly pleased with the resulting 'yard-istry' ! We took advantage of the opportunity to move the job up when Charlie called to tell us that rains were projected to move into the area. He and Maurice accomplished the cutting then the aeration and applied grass seed and fertilizer with a broadcast spreader. Not even 24 hours after the yard was completed, the rain soaked the newly-seeded lawn. Nice timing ! Next Charlie and Maurice will return to begin the weed treatments. We leave all things exterior in Charlie's hands - lawn care, gutter cleaning (esp. after Hurricane Irene), pressure washing, shrub/debris removal - the list goes on. It is always a pleasure to work with Charlie and Maurice and I can't wait to see the results in the spring time!

Outstanding! Charlie and his crew did an excellent job with our gutters, and recommended ways to reduce water issues around our house. Water now goes where it should, instead of where it shouldn't.

From what we could see, he did (another) outstanding job. The price was good, the work was done on time and under his original (off the cuff) estimate, and it should greatly reduce the cleaning we have to do on the gutters. I'm really pleased with his work and highly recommend him to anyone who will listen (and some of those who don't).

Excellent! He's prompt in the scheduling and lets you know if there are any issues with scheduling. He always does what he says, and he approaches his job as if he were taking care of his own. He is very honest and fair with his pricing and work. The house looks great! He did (as always) an outstanding job. I strongly recommend him for all of your exterior maintenance work.

Charlie came out very promptly and provided a quote. Came back as soon as he could to do the job, and did a very thorough job. We are extremely happy with the work and would definitely use him again.

I thought that the price was a little higher than I expected at first, but work was performed as promised in a timely manner. Mr. Seay had been on vacation and explained to me that he was catching up on calls made while he was away. As promised, as soon as there was a break in the weather, Mr. Seay arrived to do the work on the yard.The next day or two the rain started. It seemed like in a week, the grass had such a dark green color and new grass was coming up. I was so pleased with how the yard looked. Mr. Seay is very cooperative in trying to accomodate the needs of the customer. I've had yardwork done before and the contractor did the work and dropped me. Mr Seay called back to let me know that the yard needed another treatment. I really appreaciated that. I am also getting him to power-wash my house this year and have made arrangements for him to stain my deck in the spring. I feel very confident that while he is in a business to make money, he is sincerely concerned about providing a service that is affordable to his customer. It means everything to me to know that I am dealing with a contractor who I can trust to deliver a product of value. This company's number I will keep handy.

I contacted Charlie about sand that was left in my yard by my previous tenant. I explained to him that it was a large amount of sand that I could not remove myself. Charlie gave me an estimate within 24 hours, and the sand was gone within a week. The price quoted was good, and I will contact him in the future for anything dealing with my yard.

He was very pleasant and professional. Was prompt in responding to our request for a job estimate and completed the job in a timely manner. We are delighted with the outcome.

He removed everything (chairs, tables, plants, etc,) required prior to the job and put everything back upon completion of the work. He also pressure washed a couple of chairs when I made the request. I am very happy with the quality of his work and would use him again in the future.

I found Seay's through this website, and I am delighted to have done so. This is the reason I pay for this Angie's-list monthly service. I have enough to worry about as is without having to stress the quality of a contractor's work and/or professionalism. The service was timely, professional and prompt. I would recommend Seay's to anyone in Richmond area. i plan to have this business power wash my house next year, and I also want to have Seay's cut my yard on the weekly. -Steve

He explained what he would do to the lawn and the prices that he would charge for both the lawn maintainence and power washing. I was very impressed with presentation. He was very friendly and came across as very honest. I plan to use him in the future.

We were very pleased with Mr. Seay and the quality of his work. The finished job turned out much better than we ever thought it could. The poor weather caused a delay in completion of the work, but Mr. Seay kept in good communication with us until conditions approved so he could apply the sealant.

Charlie came by to give us an initial estimate. it was in the ballpark of other estimates we had received. We decided to try him out based on Angies List feedback. We were satisfied with the work, and will call on him for regular lawn maintenance.

We were VERY happy with the end results. Charlies is very honest and truly wants to do quality work. We will recommend him highly to anyone who needs this type of work done. He even gave us a 10% discount because we found him on Angie's List!

Noticed leak in upstairs room after hurricane and tin roof was rolled back. Called a couple gutter cleaners and Charlie was first to respond. He arranged his schedule to service my needs right away to prevent further leakage. Arrived on rainy day to start the job but could not finish due to deteriorating weather. Came back two days later to finish the job. Stayed in contact continuously to coordinate his and my schedules. Was very concientious about his work and temporarily repaired roof. He did his work the old fashion way, but it was effective.

Mr. Seay responded immediately to our call and did the work soon after. He was very responsible in every way, and showed a genuine desire that we be pleased with the job. The deck looks great, and we would definitely call him again.

The estimate was so high, comparatively, that I could not even consider it regardless of the job that he would do. For example, his estimate for mowing was > $100 per visit and mulch was ~ $100 per yard compared to approx $75 and $70 respectively for other comparative services. He indicated that he did a 'Charlie job', which I have no doubt, but the cost when multiplied by ~30 mowings and 12 yards of mulch was over $1000 (1/3) higher. For one-offs or small jobs the difference is relatively small. I have no doubt that he would do a very good job so I would consider him for other work.
