I can not say enough about the service that was provided. We have lived in this house for almost four years and have tried a few different services but none of them came close to the excellent work done by Charlie and Maurice. From the initial phone call Charlie treated me like I was his most important customer. He arrived to give his estimate promptly at the agreed upon time. He spent a lot of time going through my yard with me listening closely to everything I wanted done. His first available week also happened to be the same week I was having a new roof put on the house. I wanted to wait to have Charlie come after the roofers left, but I wasn't exactly sure when the would finish. Not a problem. Charlie kept in touch with me, calling me twice to check the progress of the roofers and I was able to schedule with Charlie once the roof was complete. Charlie and Maurice arrived at exactly the time they said they would and got right to work. Honestly, the quality of the work they did was as if they were working on their own yards. I will definitely hire Charlie to do my yard work from now on.

.Charlie had powerwashed our home, did a good job, so I asked him to do our mulch this year. We needed it to look extra nice to put the house on the market. He showed up when he said he would and with very nice mulch, actually the nicest looking mulch we've ever had, and he and his assistant worked very hard for a day and a half placing the mulch around all of our trees , gardens, and our small forest. He also trimmed two Holly trees. We have a pretty big yard, used a lot of mulch, thus the cost. Very happy with with the service we got.

Don't bother calling. Just move on.

I had hired Charlie and his helper once before and decided to use him again. He gave me a quote that was better than what my current yard guy offered for mulching the yard. Charlie and his helper did a bang up job! You should atleast let him give you a quote. I promise he did a great job for me and I know he will for you as well. He is good person!

Charlie came out on a Saturday to give us a quote and ended up staying to complete the job. A gutter on my garage was damaged from the hurricane and he was able to repair it instead of me bringing in someone to specifically fix it. When he finished, I asked him to give a quote on power washing the house. He quoted $250 to include power washing the sidewalk, I agreed and he told me he would be back out as soon as the weather would allow. I'm getting used to the service providers here in the Richmond area and didn't expect to see him again until much later in the spring. To my very pleasant surprise, Charlie came by just a couple days later and completed that job as well. We will definitely have him come out and do a few more things.

We recently had an old chain link fence removed and a new one put in, the fence company left all of the brush that had grown over the old fence. We also had several branches that feel down during that last hurricane, and just general unkept back yard from the previous owners. Not only was Charlies very fast at getting me a quote, he was even faster finishing the job! He also responds very quickly to email, which is helpful for me as I cannot always use the phone at work. I would absolutely use him again and would recommend him to others.

They had a special for gutter cleaning. I really liked them because they were really nice. I called them and they came out the same day. They cleaned up after themselves. They were very efficient. I really liked them. They aren't too far from me. I thought they did a great job. They had a gutter cleaning special and that's what I signed up for. They came the same day that I called. They were very professional. They were just great guys and I really liked them a lot. I thought they were very good. They were very conscientious and friendly. They said that next time if I needed my gutters cleaned and there is a special, I didn't even have to sign up for it but just call them and they would honor it, which was a wonderful thing too. I thought they were very reasonable when they were talking about charging other people for about $50 which is very reasonable here.

I typically take great pride in completing all of the tasks above, but the new year came with circumstances which left me on the bench. I only note these circumstances to highlight my tendency to be high-maintenance. I love my yard. I love working in my yard. I typically don't outsource tasks that I enjoy. Charlie may have changed that. From the beginning of my search on AL, I was looking for integrity, quality, value, and consistency. Given my self aware state of mind, I knew 50 / 50 reviews simply wouldn't make the cut. Naturally, Charlie made the top of my list in a hurry. As you read the reviews prior to this, you'll see very common trends...all positive and now I can say, all accurate. I was prepared to request several other services which would have yielded significantly more work and increased rates accordingly, but Charlie recommended otherwise. Charlie could have been here for several more days; instead, he reconfigured our approach, saved me some money and set a plan in motion to address my other needs in the future - a more appropriate time. The work itself was outstanding - exceeded all expectations. He and his team completed the work (ahead of schedule I might add) and in bone-chilling temperatures. His recommendations were sound and to be quite frank, I felt as though Charlie cared for my yard as though it were his own. He is responsive, completely punctual, email capable (very important for me), and most importantly - a good person. Not only would I recommend Charlie, but I'm certain I'll utilize his service and expertise in the future.

He did a wonderful job cleaning our gutters. He bagged the leaves and washed the gutters out. He was very neat leaving everything cleaned up when he left. We would definitely call him again!

This is our 2nd time using this company for gutter cleaning. The first time was in May 2011. He was prompt, thorough and honored the same amount we had paid 6 months earlier. I would definitely recommend him!

I called Mr. Seay towards the end of last week . He came by Friday, and performed the job, much to my surprise, as he said that he was booked up all next week.. He was very professional and very polite and did the job that we agreed upon. Mr. Seay was a pleasure to work with.

Mr. Seay came out to my home at a time previously arranged and called me with a price for the gutter cleaning. I accepted his price and he was able to do the work at that time. He came to my work as well to quote our business and again I accepted and he was able to do the work at that time. He was professional, courteous and did a great jobs at both locations.

Charlie has been wonderful to work with. He has been prompt, has made great recommendations and has done a beautiful job on turning my once weed infested yard to a yard full of green grass. (Thankfully the weather has cooperated with us as well!) My neighbors have all asked for his information, which I have gladly passed on. I highly recommend Charlie for his lawn services.

Arrived on time for estimate and to perform work. Brought their own hose for checking the downspout run and cleaned up very nicely.

Mr. Seay is one of the best people who have done outside work on my home. He is reliable, courteous and painstakingly neat about the job he does. I also think that his prices are more than fair. I would recommend him to anyone who wants a good job done quickly and completely.

I wasn't at home when Seay came. But my gutters are clean and everything went professionally.

When I called Charlie I had just purchased my home and noticed a lot of leaves and sticks hanging out of my gutters. He returned my phone call shortly after I left a message and came out to give me an estimate the next morning. He then returned about 4 hours later to perform the job. Him and his helper were very professional and helpful. I would definitely use them again, perhaps soon to have gutter guards installed (which he said would save me money in the long run).

It was an excellent experience. I contacted Mr. Seay by email and he responded the same night. He was in the area and came by the next day to give me an estimate and time he could handle the job. They showed up on time and went right to work cleaning the gutters first. Then the leaves. It is the best our yard has looked since we moved in 6 years ago. He disposed of the leaves on the back of the property just as we had discussed. He will be coming back to powerwash the house. It is such a pleasure to work with someone so professional and cooperative. All contractors should take lessons in customer service from Mr. Seay. They would have so much business just like Mr. Seay does. I just can't say enough about how happy we are with the service

I called Mr. Seay and we set up an appointment for the next week. I have over 200 ft of gutters so the discounted voucher didn't cover it all. The additional charge was at the discounted price. I was very satisfied with the work, cleanup and price. I will defintely call them again for my next gutter cleaning.
