Charlie touched base with me soon after I requested an estimate. He was professional each step of the way and did a great job cleaning the gutters.

The entire experience was so wonderful. I joined Angie's list, searched for someone to help with my gutters, which despartely needed to be cleaned. I chose Charlie immediately because of the positive reviews. One was better than the next and his ratings were "A's" all around. I called and left a vmail and, as others had described in their reviews, Charlie called me back right away but I was on another call. I sent Charlie an email so I could describe the issue and provide times he could reach me. Charlie was responsive, showed up on time and did exactly what he said he was going to do. He came today, provided an estimate and delivered outstanding service. I work in the world of customer service and delivering on your committments is so important to me. Charlie not only delivered on his committments, he exceeded all expectations. He was professional, reasonable and did an outstanding job. He set expectations, proactively offered a coupon (another plus!!) and had a good sense of humor. He was respectful of my house and my animals. I highly recommend Charlie and the only bad part of this review is that I cant' give him A++++++ (Angie only has A ratings). Please call Charlie. You won't be disapponted.

I called for an estimate on cleaning our gutters. Mr. Seay stopped by the same day and gave me a reasonable estimate on cleaning the gutters and installing gutter guards. The amazing thing is that he did not try to sell me something extra. I was the one who asked about the gutter guards. The gutters were cleaned and the guards installed the next day. There was no mess left behind, and we are very pleased.

Mr. Seay and crew did an excellent job pressure washing my house and porches. Mr. Seay met with me on Thursday to give me an estimate and was able to do the job on Saturday. He showed up as promised at 10:00 Saturday morning and provided us with a superior service.

They responded quickly and did an incredible job. They arrived on time, did the work and cleaned up. I will continue to use them.

He is very good. He really does take care of my lawn and I do not have to worry about a thing. His price is also cheap compared to other lawn services in the market.

When contacting Seay's, I spoke directly with the owner Charlie. Charlie was very professional and explained that this is a very busy time of year and he would stop by within the next several weeks to provide us with an estimate. This only took a week. Charlie called us back and gave us the estimate to power wash our very large home with very high roof pitches as well as clean out our gutters. He explained that they would have to use high ladders to get to the gutters and top of the house. Charlie and his team arrived on the scheduled date and time and did an excellent job. They spent over 4 hours at the house and before leaving made sure that we were very satisfied with the work. The house looked brand new and they cleaned up all of the material from the gutters. I would highly recommend this company to anyone and we will definitely use them again.

Charlie Seay came in advance to look over place and work to be done. He came on the date and time promised. I could tell in talking with him that he took great pride in the quality of his work. He offered suggestions in general and even gave me a tip on somewone he knew who could repair an unlevel sidewalk after I asked him if he knew of anyone he could recommend. He called me the night before to let me know he would be at the house the following day. I had asked him to do this and he followed through just as promised. He told me what time to expect him the next day. The day of the work, Mr Seay came at the time promised. He had brought another worker with him. We went over again the work that was to be done. He was professional at all times. He thoroughly cleaned and washed the gutters first then powerwashed house and outbuilding, swing etc. The overall quality of the work was superb and I was very pleased. I will be contacting Mr. Seay on a regular basis for this work in the future.

He checked with us a day in advance and arrived promptly the following morning. We are impressed with the appearance of the patio and siding and wouldn't hesitate to use his company in the future. In addition to the good work he does, he communicates clearly so that you know what to expect. He is busy, so I would recommend that you book well in advance.

Scheduled gutter cleaning about a week out from first contact. Seay's was punctual, professional, and performed work as promised.

Mr Seay was very responsive from my first call and worked to find a mutual time/day that worked for us both. The house on my gutters were cleaned throughly and the debris removed. Mr Seay also fixed a downspout without me asking for which I was very appreciative. I thought his rates were very reasonable and would definitely use his services again.

I live in Georgia and was looking for a company to provide lawn service for my mom, who lives in Virginia. I searched Angie's List and came across Seay's Lawn Service. After reading his reviews, I gave Mr. Seay a call and explained my situation. He was so very understanding, polite and professional. Though, he was extremely busy, he made time to go to my mom's house as soon as his schedule permitted. Mr. Seay stayed in constant communications with me via phone and text messages. He wanted me to let my mom know who he was, what he was going to do and when he would be there. Mr. Seay had never met me, but he took care of my mom's lawn before receiving payment from me. He wanted my mom to be completely satisfied before I paid him. My mom was truly satisfied with Mr. Seay's work and is looking forward to his company becoming her "lawn service."

Mr. Seay arrived on time, cleaned the gutters, and left the area so clean that one would not know that anything happened. We are delighted with the quality of work.

There is a reason Seay Power Wash & Lawn Care has so many positive ratings and Page of Happiness nominations - aside from all my rave reviews. This year begins our third season with this service provider and we couldn't be happier. Charlie & Maurice pressure-washed ten years of grime off our home two years ago when we moved in. Our then greyish-white house became brilliant white & was almost painful to look at it was so bright. They returned this year to do it again so now we're back to glistening white instead of post-Hurricane Irene dullness. The foundation is clean, the deck no longer has spots of green, the garage floor is free of dirt and critters - even the inside of our large garbage can got a bath. The crepe myrtle obstructing the front of the house got a haircut . We always plan ahead so when we say it was scheduled for a month, that's due to our planning not Charlie's time-management skills. I'm always so happy to see Charlie and Maurice that I don't let them leave without payment for their services, our thanks and a batch of homemade brownies.

I live out of the country, but my wife, who is still at home in Richmond, was pleased with the work. We plan to continue using Charlie on a regular basis.

When I contacted Mr. Seay, he explained how backed up he was. He said he would like to do the job but he could not do the work until sometime in May. I agreed to wait and anm glad that I did. Mr. Seay did a quality, professional job. I would recommend Mr. Seay and expect to use him again.

We have begun our third season with Charlie and Maurice. Our beautiful weed-free lawn is so green it almost glows and it feels like plush carpet. (Photos included!) Without exception, every visitor has gotten out of their vehicle and said "Wow - that's a serious yard - that is gorgeous !" We are very attached to our lawn care company but have resigned ourselves to the fact that we have to share Charlie & Maurice from time to time. Next task is pressure-washing the house so I'll have another chance to brag on these folks !

Called and requested gutter cleaning. Company scheduled day and time. Called before coming. Completed job and reported the areas of concern. Cleaned up completely before leaving. Pleasure to deal with this company and would recommend highly.

I purchased this service as an Angie's List Big Deal for $99. The transaction was so smooth and painless! I called Mr. Seay to say that I was ready, and a week later it was done! I was 100% satisfied with the quality of his work. 1 or 2 of my downspouts were completely obstructed and I had a small tree growing out of 1 section of gutter--he remedied all of that and more quickly and efficiently. I would definitely call on him again.

Charlie came by and looked at yard work which included leaf removal, shrubbery trimming, pruning, removal of dead shrubs, and haul away. He specified the dates he could commence and the price estimated. They were punctual in coming and getting the job accomplished at the price specified. He is truly a professional and does what he says he will do. We were exptremely pleased and will use him again!

I picked Seay based on their competitive price, the thoroughness of the plan they outlined, and their ability to begin work sooner than other landscapers I had found on Angie's List since this a busy time of year. Charlie Seay came out to my house on within 48 hours of me calling and said he could begin lawn treatment within a week and could perform all of the basic landscaping work within two weeks. To cut to the punchline, it's now 22 days later and absolutely nothing that Seay promised actually happened, and all I got was a list of excuses. The first warning sign should have been that Seay doesn't do lawn treatment himself but "had a relationship with Tru Green Commercial? and outsourced the treatment work. Seay initially said that he could get his guy to come out to the house the week of March 19, and then nothing happened and Seay didn?t call. After calling, Seay said his guy would make it the following week. Same story the week of March 26, and Seay even called to confirm that his guy would show on March 29 but then nothing happened and there was no follow up call. After complaining to Seay again, he was apologetic and said that Tru Gren would be out the following week, and he confirmed that they?d show up on April 4. Nothing happened, and no call from Seay. Apparently he doesn?t follow up on these appointments, his relationship with his lawn treatment people is absolutely awful, and they couldn?t be relied upon at all. Seay?s follow-through on the landscaping work that he was going to do himself was no better. After getting the estimate on March 16, he said that he?d have someone do the work ?within two weeks of March 23? and possibly even the week of March 26 if he could fit a small job like this in. After getting no updates through April 3 and the April 6 deadline approaching, I called to ask what was going on. When I got him on the phone, Seay then made up an excuse that he?d ?gotten a couple of flat tires? on his truck and his wife?s car and that set him back a week. He was apologetic, but he then insisted that he had said the work would be done within THREE weeks of March 23, contradicting what he said earlier, and that it might not even get done in that timeframe because of his setbacks. It was unacceptable that he changed his deadline, had no intention of performing the work by April 6, and that I had to call him to hear this The last straw was when the lawn treatment people didn?t show up for the third time on April 4. I called Seay that night to say that I was absolutely disappointed with his service, wouldn?t be using him, and he could cancel whatever he had ?scheduled? for me. He called back later and said he could totally understand my decision, but it sounded like he was relieved to have one less potential customer to deal with since things are so busy right now. I realize that there?s been a mad rush to get lawn work done with the early arrival of spring, but the reason why I chose Seay in the first place was that he said he could get the work done and had competitive (but not rock-bottom) prices for his services. Had I known that I?d be sitting here 22 days later with even more weeds, no mulch, and a mess of a yard on my hands, I would have kept searching instead of working with Seay. Maybe he does better work in the ?off season,? but don?t bother calling him until summer. I won?t recommend him to anyone.

This is a second hand account as I was at the hospital with my sick my mother. He met my aunt, they looked over the lawn discussed what was to be done and agreed on a price. She was impressed with his promptness and professionalism. She then joined me at the hospital. Later when we returned home the yard was perfect. I can't remember the last time the yard had looked so good. My mother will be so happy when she sees it.
