Replaced washer lid switch with new one, and made me a fix if it happens again.

Our refrigerator/freezer was functioning marginally. The temperature inside was slowly rising. The problem was discovered on a Sunday afternoon. We called several appliance repair companies on Monday morning. RJ Service came out onb Tuesday morning. The repair people were all rather busy due to numerous problems resulting from the previous week's heat wave. They quickly identified the problem and replaced the failed blower motor. The problem was taken care of quickly. The behavior of the service technician was professional and friendly. We were quite satisfied and would use RJ again

He came out and replaced the timer. Because it takes a while for the ice maker to start making ice, he left and told me to call if there was any more problem. The ice maker did not start making ice. I called back and he immediately came back, and made another repair, giving me full credit for the previous part he installed and for the service call. As a realistic consumer I'm not at all bothered by the fact that his first attempt didn't fix it. What I am impressed with was how quickly he made it right and was ethical in not charging me for the piece he installed at first. Doing the right thing may seem obvious, but my experience these days is that its hard to find a company that knows how to do the right thing. This service call and repair impressed me.

Our refrigerator temperature had gone up and when it was reset it would not go down to where it should be. I called and had to leave a voice mail. The call was returned in about 30 minutes. He could not come that day but came the first thing the next day. He promptly diagnosed the problem and fixed it in about an hour. When he had diagnosed it he mentioned two possible causes, but said the cheaper of the two was normally the problem. He said that if what he did this time did not work, that he would come back and replace the more expensive part and only charge us for the part and installation. No trip charge, which I thought was more than fair. Many repairmen would have replace both parts for another $150 or so and thought nothing of it. I would never have known the difference. The light inside my microwave had been burned out for a while, so while he was there I asked if he could replace it. I had bought what I thought was the right bulb previously but could not find out how to get to it. The bulb that I was sold was not correct, but he had the right one with him. He had to partially take the microwave apart to replace it. He was very careful not to scar our kitchen floor which is wood. He cleaned up everything. We were very pleased with the entire process and would highly recommend him to anyone.
