Overall I was very happy with the service. It was a long day but the entire unit was replaced in 8 hrs. We had a faulty AC unit and we called 4 contractors for price. River City Home Services was the same price as the one other competitor and the other two were higher. After some talking with the contractor we went with them and they installed the unit about 7-9 days later. We bought an entire new unit, We replaced the Outside condenser/unit, indoor coil, and gas furnace. We went with a Payne unit. It came with a 10 year warranty and was made by Carrier. We upgraded from a 10 seer, 80% EFI furnace to a 15seer 92% EFI furnace. We also replaced the line sets, and went to the new refrigerant. A410. We also installed an outdoor temp sensor so that we can use the heat pump up till 35 degrees and after that it will use the propane backup which is more efficient and better heat. We also replace the thermostat with a Honeywell 8000 and have been very happy. Only small issue we had was the outdoor temperature sensor was bad and not working the day or two after install. They dispatched a tech one evening when I was home and he was able to adjust the sensor and get it working within 20 mins. Overall very happy with the process and will use them for my next unit that will need to be replaced next year. River City Home Services is a small company with just two guys. So Rusty and Daniel will take good care of you but may not be able to jump to each call the same day or so bc of there size and they also do other home improvements like, HW Heaters, Plumbing, minor electrical, and various other services.. So as long as you want someone who will do it right but ok with it taking the time to do it right I would recommend them. They were a lot cheaper and better service than some of those Big Name AC Companies you see on TV. They were several Thousand dollars cheaper than most we called..
