Carl and his son Brandon arrived promptly, tackled the jobs and were completed before the date we agreed on as finish date. When I purchased my home (a small Cape) in early 2007, I was told it was freshly painted. After only six years, however, the exterior paint was very weathered, including areas where the ?fresh paint? had worn, exposing the original paint and also had peeled in a number of places. Not only did the house need to be repainted, but there were a partially-rotten window sill and split siding that needed repairing. Despite requesting estimates from several local contractors, only three physically showed up to inspect the house and provide an estimate. Of those three, Renfroe?s Home Repair and Painting treated me with the utmost respect and provided the most affordable estimate ? by far. Carl Renfroe came out one evening, conducted a thorough inspection of the house, and discussed with me the issues/items that would need to be addressed prior to painting. When I asked about repairs to my front porch steps (widening the treads), Mr. Renfroe told me he could make those repairs as well. Based on the previous estimates I?d received, Mr. Renfroe?s estimate was the most reasonable AND he was able to start work the following week. Although unpredictable spring weather (as Richmond often has) created a slight delay, Mr. Renfroe finished the painting efficiently, neatly and professionally. In addition, he kept me informed as to the status of his ongoing work. Mr. Renfroe used quality materials and his final charge was right on target with his estimate. He is very meticulous in his work, and I am very pleased. I highly recommend him for painting or other home repair jobs that you might have.
