I liked it. It was good. They had good service. It went very well. I had a good interaction with them. The technician did a pretty good job.

Installer had to replace one garage door controller that had burned out. Then he moved one from one of the 3 garage doors that will not be used to another one of the garage doors. then he lubed all 3 garage doors and made sure everything worked with remotes and wall switches.

The repairman called before coming, arrived on time, introduced himself when he arrived, and was very friendly and professional. He looked at the garage door and gave me his assessment of the problems that needed correcting. How would I know the technical ins and outs of how a garage door is suppose to operate? I simply want it to open and close as I need it. Someday, I just want to be charged the cost of the special and not a dime more.

We purchased an Angie's List big deal for a tuneup, remote and keypad. That day, the company called to schedule and was able to give me prompt service on my preferred date. On the day of the appointment (8-10), he called me at 7:35 to let me know he was on the way and arrived exactly at 8 a.m. He inspected our door and found the springs were close to breaking and currently not operating as intended. He replaced the springs and provided us with two new garage door remotes. We ended up getting an extra remote instead of keypad, so that flexibility made me very happy as it saved us a bit of money and got us what we wanted. I did compare the cost to replace springs with quotes my neighbor has gotten in the past month, it was competitive at $359. He got the work done quickly and answered all of my questions. I was very pleased with the company's customer service as a whole.

My appointment was scheduled between 10-12. I received a call about 10:25 saying the service tech was about 20 minutes out and he arrived within that time. It turned out that the tech was actually the company's owner, Mr. Thomas Addison. I was very impressed with his appearance, knowledge and professionalism. My door presented some unique problems that required additional work not normally required in this type service. Mr. Addison explained the problems and went the extra mile with good humor. The work was top notch, my 10-year-old door is now much quieter and I have already recommended Precision Door Service to a neighbor. I will be using this company for any overhead door needs in the future and highly recommend them to all.

I called this provider because of the good reviews on Angies List. They called me within 24 hours and were very courteous and professional, however, they wanted $50 for an estimate with the $50 going towards the work if they do it. I explained that since I don't know exactly what is wrong (I've had two different reasons given and substantially different prices so far), I didn't want to pay for an estimate since they might come in higher than others - that's why you get estimates. So I thanked them for calling and will move on to someone else. So far they are the only ones that charge for an estimate. I wanted to give them an A for responsiveness and professionalism, but a Con overall because of the charge for an estimate, but the system wouldn't let me.

Went very well. He even checked my sensors, which we thought were defective, but then we tried new sensors and determined it was the board in the motor that was defective. I will have them replace the entire motor next, since this one is about 12 years old.

Employee came when expected. Was courteous and explained what he would be doing. Was efficient and professional. Would use this firm again.

The tech showed up on time (even called ahead to let me know he was on his way). Told me what he was doing when he got there. I asked about some future work (will replace the lift later in the year - it's still noisy). He replaced the rollers (made a marked improvement in the noise generated by the door) and was on his way. Polite and friendly. Showing up when they said they would show up was a big winner for me. Also no crazy hard-sale tactics. Actually didn't try to sell me anything (which is nice); I asked about other work in the future.

Branden and Muguel (sp) were very prompt and meticulous with the installation of my garage door. Very impressed with the work they did and so appreciate the care that was taken to complete. Would definitely recommend them.
