I assume it was the owner that came over and looked at the work I needed done. He took measurements, matched my gutter color and promptly emailed me a quote. I agreed to the bid and never heard back after numerous attempts via email and voicemail. His voicemail eventually stopped accepting messages. I assumed he either had a major medical emergency or shuttered the business.

The technician was very nice and was on site for about an hour and a half. The garage door spring unwound and I was unable to open the door. The spring unwound when I attempted to open the door after a power failure. The end product was a well functioning door, as it was before the spring unwound. I simply feel that $294 for adjusting the door is a high price.

Chris with Precision Door Service did a great job replacing the rollers, and just explaining lot of things about garage doors, and got things done on one of the hottest days we've had so far. There was no need to lube the door as he said since I had someone do it last winter, putting more on now would overdue it and possibly lead to problems. In all, a good service call and I learned a lot. Door is quieter now and operating smoothly.

Customer service contacted me within minutes of purchased the deal and schedule my installation for that same day. The technician also called me a couple of times during the installation to keep me informed of the process. The keypad was installed professionally and works great.

The guy who came out was on time, nice, and professional. His work really helped the performance of my door, which would stick sometimes when the weather was very cold.

Although the deal presented said the provider would call me, I had to call them. They were however prompt in returning my call and scheduling an appointment. The service person arrived as scheduled and did the work specified in the deal. He was pleasant and efficient. Unfortunately the 'universal' keypad installed to replace the one I was using turned out to be confusing to use and too easily 'reset' so that it no longer worked. My very first visitor after its installation pushed the wrong buttons and the keypad was reset and would no longer work. I looked up the instructions for resetting the keypad provided by the garage door maker but we were never able to get the thing to work. It turned out that their instructions would not work with this unit. I had to call this service provider to come out again and correct the situation. He did promptly and this time I watched what was required and asked for instructions which were not offered on the first visit. It is not easy to reprogram this keypad and I only hope that is not needed again as I will probably have to call the provider out again. I was happy with the people I worked with, the cost and the prompt service, but am not so happy with this universal keypad.

We called precision door to fix a problem with the garage door not operating properly and stopping while the door was traveling up or down. The problem continued after they replaced rollers, springs, cables and remotes. Mr. Thomas Addison the president of the company, came to our house and tried to fix the problem by trying various adjustments to the components. To fix the problem, he installed a new garage door motor and 2 new remotes at no additional charge to us. He did this in the spirit of customer satisfaction. I would highly recommend Precision Door to anyone.

My garage door caught on the wheel barrow handles that I had left sticking out a few inches too far, before it stopped it was bent and had a substantial gap from the wall. We are moving and the last thing I wanted to do was replace a garage door that I was not going to use but it clearly wasn't right so I called Precision Door, based on Angie's list reviews. I called Sunday night and they sent Chris out to assess the damage by noon on Monday. Chris was very friendly, professional and knowledgable. He explained what had happened to the door and why replacing it was the only option, he did this in a way that made it clear he was not just trying to sell me something but was genuinely interested in making sure I understood what was going on. He then offered me several options for a new door and the associated prices. The next day Greg came out, first thing in the morning, to replace my door. Chris was also friendly, professional and knowledgable. He clearly had a great deal of experience with garage doors and explained the features of the new door and indulged all of my questions about the installation process. He completed the job very quickly despite the intense heat (100+) and never lost his smile or pleasant disposition. He even cleaned off the finger prints on my new door. While I am not overjoyed about buying a new garage door which I will not use, the experience with Precision Door made it much easier to take. I would highly recommend them for your garage door service or replacement, I felt their prices were reasonable and their service was outstanding.

It worked out very well. They were very thorough. We're just very pleased with his service. It was good. He followed-up. He was interactive as far as contacting him. He will return my call immediately. It was a good experience, basically. It turned out very well. They had an availability so they accommodated me to my schedule.

They did a fantastic job! Chris was excellent, but the price was a little high. I spent $558 for more roller, sensors, and two cables. He spent about an hour and a half.
