Precision Garage Door

GREAT!!!! Upgraded for safety. Punctual. Knowledgeable. Very nice repairman. Taught me a lot about up keep of the door to keep it running safely.

The work was done well. But then the sales pitch started. They showed me how my spring was getting weak and told me my cables were frayed. Repair Cost $600. I had to put things off because of family matters, but recently (months later) I called back and found that the person who had been to my house was no longer working for them. So I called the company that put in my garage door when the house was built. They came over and showed me that the spring was in fine shape and was holding the door where it should, and found no fraying on any of my cables and said they did not need to be replaced. Due to the number of cycles on the door I am going to replace the spring before it breaks, but at 50% of the cost and work Precision Door said I needed. I don't doubt the parts Precision Door uses are quality, but a lot of the work they said I needed, I didn't.

Received same day service. Also received a call ahead of time from the technician. Garth was able to make it earlier than originally scheduled, which worked out very well. He provided me with 3 quotes for each problem and offered several options. He was very no pressure and answered all of my questions. I'm pleased with the service and the installation. We ended up having both doors repaired and went with newer tension spring systems. We also had the wheels replaced and support brackets installed on both doors.

It went well. The technician was knowledgeable and polite. He also fixed a problem. We'd been having an ongoing issue. The technician knew exactly what it was, and took care of it.

Prompt arrival of technician (local manager). On inspecting the two doors he determined that they were of advanced age. One door worked well enough. The problem door needed bracing at the top and one of the electronic eyes at the bottom needed replacement. Initially it was not realized, by the technician, that I had the upgrade package, but that got straightened out. He felt that what he could do would get me through for a while. As the house is being sold and I am relocating, I would have no further need of their services.

We chose to replace an old door and not repair it. Precision's door quality and warranty were superior. Installers were on time, professional and courteous. The job took longer than stated but there were some issues that needed attention and they were handled properly. The new door has made a great difference; opens smoothly, it's quiet and shuts securely. We highly recommend.

My garage door was at the point that it would no longer stay up when opened. They showed up and performed the work as scheduled. The door now operates the way it's supposed to again.
