 + 1 moreThe Mirandas are very friendly and easy to talk with. However, on both cars, I had to degrease and clean the door jambs and trunk seal areas after they left. They hadn't been touched. The gas cap area in the Audi was not washed. I saw no evidence of any UV protectant on the windshield cowl on the Audi. The engine compartment in the Audi certainly doesn't look like it was detailed a week ago... If the leather seats in both cars were treated in any way other than vacuuming, I found no evidence of it. A week after the Audi was done, I have to wash and hand wax it myself. Wax coatings applied were thin, at best IMHO The Diamond treatment, according to the Miranda website, should take between 3 and 4 hours. The Audi was "finished" in two and half, the Honda mini-van took 3 hours at most. If all you want is a high quality wash and a light detailing, these folks might be just the ticket. If you want a professional and thorough job done, you might want to look elsewhere, or do it yourself.
Description of Work: Diamond Detail for both cars performed within 10 days of each other. According to Miranda's Website this consists of: Pre-rinse and foam bath with a PH Balanced Shampoo, hand wash with a with a premium, microfiber wash sponge. Door jambs, gas cap, and engine compartment degreased and cleaned. Windshield cowl cleaned and UV protected. Rims, tires, and wheel wells cleaned with appropriate products and shined. Clay-bar treatment to remove embedded particles in your paint. Paint is hand dried with soft, microfiber towels and forced air.Paint is polished to reduce swirls, leaving your paint glossy and smooth. Paint is protected with a carnauba cream wax , safely applied with a dual action polisher. Thorough interior dry brushing and vacuuming, including trunk. All carpets and mats are treated with Special Cleaner, scrubbed and cleaned with hot water extraction process. Leather is treated with appropriate cleaner, gently scrubbed and steamed (if needed) and conditioned with a mink oil cream lotion. Cloth upholstery is treated with Special Cleaner, scrubbed, and steam cleaned. Headliner and visors gently cleaned with diluted interior cleaner. Dash, consoles, and all vinyl dusted, steamed (if needed) and dressed to a natural-look with water-based products.Interior and Exterior glass is cleaned.
