Holly Kidwell was very helpful with suggestions for the appropriate style and color of window treatments. She came to our home several times with sample books, asked many questions to determine our preferences and gave us a number of ideas, choices, etc. She was very pleasant and friendly and professional. The shades took about six weeks to manufacture. She supervised the installation, which was quick and professional. We had obtained other bids for Roman shades and knew they would be expensive. Her price was in line with others; we just wish that Roman shades weren't so pricey, but she gave us a good explanation for all the workmanship that goes into them. The fabric on each shade matched up perfectly. Good job. We're pleased.

We recently purchased a home in Richmond and needed shades for our new house. We found MannKidwell on Angie's List, and they had great reviews. We were still living in Northern Virginia at the time, and I called to setup an appointment for after work one evening. We drove down from NOVA to Richmond and the consultant was a "no show" due to a scheduling error. Needless to say, we were less than pleased. Andrew, the owner of MannKidwell, came in on his Saturday off to meet with us on a weekend to accommodate our busy schedules. He was very helpful and apologetic. He worked around our timetable and expedited our installation. Paul came out to install the blinds. He was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable about the install. I would highly recommend MannKidwell and would use them again without hesitation.

Blinds and shutters are very high quality and beautiful. In-store assistance was excellent. All associates (Andrew Kidwell, installers, others) were very professional, competent and courteous. Installation was flawless. Timing of installation and final cost were exactly as promised by Mr. Kidwell. I have never been more satisfied with a purchasing experience.

They came to our home and measured the windows for the new mini blinds. We were given an estimate for the cost of all nine blinds and it was a good price for the quality. We had a lot of color and fabric to choose from in making our selection, which they helped us with. The service and installation was great.
