They are not interested in detail cleaning at all. Don't know how to properly make a bed, spend too much time refolding all your towels and refolding your toilet paper! Time should be spent on CLEANING!! Don't talk on cell phones!! If you are giving me 2 hours of cleaning, do that, CLEAN! You are not in my home to socalize, you are there to do a job. Please don't waste your hard earned money on this company, if you really want your house cleaned. If you don't care and a slip-shod job is OK with you, hey, go for it!
Description of Work: Cleaning of house, eat-in kitchen, D.R., laundry, powder rm.,office, great room ,master bed/bath, 3 bed/1bath up and hall. The price reflects a Living Social coupon. Too much feather dusting going on, no attention to detail. I'm picky and told James that at the start. We talked for over an hour on what they would do and how and what I would like to tweak. I had problems with the very first clreaning a year ago and kept trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. Left notes for the girls, and talked repeatedly to James. Nothing ever changed! What is the point of asking customer. what she wants done and then not doing it? They were always late, parked in driveway, so you couldn't get out. Just way too much drama, chatting constantly, going to check up on what the others are doing,arguing, crying and sobbing went on. Too much! Worst cleaning service I've ever had in 35 years!

We are thankful to this customer and the months we were able to clean her home. Unfortunately we had to raise her rate due to consistently providing almost twice the amount of time & labor that her home was originally estimated. (Some client's homes or expectations do not fall within normal industry standards and end up requiring more time and attention than originally estimated). When giving her the option of reducing the amount of services provided or paying the extra money for the extra time her account was taking, she did not take kindly to either option and decided to air out her frustrations online. We understand. We do our best to quote as accurately as possible so folks aren't surprised or caught off guard. We serviced her account for well over six months trying our best to strike a balance without raising her rate, but there comes a point at which a company has to decide whether we want to continue servicing someone's account while not making any money. After finally deciding to raise her rate this client chose the path of cancelling service in a not so happy manner. It was an unfortunate situation.

Maid Meisters is the best cleaning service I've used in Richmond. I used them through a Living Social voucher, and they were fabulous. Excellent, thorough cleaning. One maid cleaned for 4 hours and even came on the weekend to accommodate my schedule. She was very professional and friendly. I trusted her in my house. I've bought Living Social vouchers for other cleaning services, and they do not come close to the quality and professionalism of Maid Meisters.
