Kohmar Air Duct Cleaning LLC.

Hello all, This was my first experience with Kohmar. I'd never heard of them before seeing their $100 worth of carpet cleaning for $50 deal on AL. I can honestly tell you that unless Chemdry of Richmond offers me an over-the-top deal, Kohmar has replaced them for carpet and upholstery cleaning in my home. The guys from Kohmar were on-time, explained everything they were going to do at an agreed price upfront, and did an excellent job, paying much greater attention to detail than my latest Chemdry experience. The same exact service, a large family room plus 4 chairs, was about $25 cheaper than Chemdry. The only reason it was over the original $50 deal was because i added the chairs. The 13 year old white chairs came out looking nearly new and virtually all the traffic stains in my carpet came out with their cleaning methods. In fact, four months later, the time of this review, the protectant they applied to the carpet is still keeping it spot free (and I have a dog)! If you pick them for your carpet and upholstery cleaning need, you will not be disappointed.

Did an excellent job. Vents were in crawl space and he had to go from one side to the other. A lot of work and a great job.

The deal was for a specific amount of rooms but I wanted to substitute the stairs and hallway for one of the rooms. I was really concerned I was going to get some flak about this and be charged extra for it. But they came out, took one look, got their equipment ready and started work with no negotiations or extra charges. It went so smoothly I hardly noticed they were here.

The team arrived punctually, and took care not to disturb or damage any of our household/household items. They could only access our house from the front entry, which meant running their equipment throughout three floors to their truck. Despite the yards and yards of hose through the front door, they took great care to accomodate our pets (fear of noise, escaping from the house, etc.) The team did a walk through initially to assess how they would execute the job, and did a thorough job cleaning all ductwork and cleaning up after themselves, for what I thought was a reasonable price considering the size of the job and the parking/accessibility constraints. I do wish they warned me that their truck would expel that much concentrated heat, however: I discovered after they left that their truck exhaust killed two small boxwood bushes in front of my house. If I had known this might've been an issue, I would have moved all other vehicles to position their truck better. Despite some brown bushes, I will definitely recommend them to my neighbors and anyone else.

Early, but that was great. Shown all of the ducts in the house, which were many. Professionally set up equipment and went about cleaning all ducts of 20 years of dust & who knows what. Sanitized all ducts. Inspected all areas that could be problems. No mildew, mold, etc. present. Replaced anything that was moved for access. Wonderful teamwork from both. Answered all questions and recommended cleaning every three to five years. Did not try to sell additional services. Very satisfied with this company.

Owner promptly contacted me to schedule service, showed up timely on appointed day, did a very good, professional job in a reasonable amount of time, and charged a reasonable price. I will use this company again.

Our carpets are very old, but we wanted them cleaned as much as possible for a graduation party. We knew that they would not be able to remove all the pet and kid stains, but they did a great job removing the worst ones. We would definitely recommend them for reasonable carpet cleaning.

Great Job. Not a whole lot else to say, since I am happy with my service. They came around 9:00 and inspected and cleaned out the dryer ducts in less than an hour. They guys that came were friendly and cleaned up after themselves. FYI for those who are getting your ducts cleaned, it is going to kick up a lot of dust. That is not a complaint, just a fact about duct cleaning.

Cleaned the ductwork on a 2600 sq ft house that we were moving into. The ducts where pretty gross! The guys from Kohmar where great! Very professional. Did not leave a trace of mess. The whole house smelled so much better afterward. I would highly recommend.

There were a few spots that I pointed out to them ahead of time. They did not spend any extra effort to try to remove them ,which was the reason I hired them. I had to call Chemdry after they left and they were easily able to remove the spots.

This company is wonderful! All the team members were friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. The job was done quickly with no mess left behind. The price was most reasonable. The customer service and workmanship were fantastic. We would highly recommend using this company! Thank you so much!

I am particular and do not usually do reviews but the two brothers who own the business did an outstanding job at a very reasonable price. They had a great review history on Angie's list which caught my attention to begin with. and in hindsight my wife and I made a good decision choosing Kohmar for the job

They were great. They called to tell me they would be about 30 minutes late, but showed up slightly before that. Thoroughly professional. Told us precisely what they were doing and why. Answered all of our questions.

They arrived on time and were professional & efficient. We were extremely pleased with the job done and the price. My only complaint is their follow-up/communication after the fact in trying to coordinate further services.

This is one of those out of sight, maintenance type services. I wasn't experiencing any particular issues with my ducts; I just knew they were pretty dirty and had probably never been cleaned. My service was scheduled promptly, and the team arrived at the appointed time. Jason emailed before and after pictures of my ducts. They were dirty before, looked much cleaner after. Overall, I thought it was a good experience, professional and efficient team.

They were fine. The company sent 2 techs and they were at the home for around an hour.

They were very professional. They came on time and everything was a lot cleaner when they left.
