Kohmar Air Duct Cleaning LLC.

I had Kohmar out a month previous to this visit to my newly purchased home to inspect and clean the dryer vent. They did such a great job then, so I decided to have them out at the house I am selling also, as the buyer asked for the dryer vent to be cleaned. Kohmar was awesome, as usual - arrived on time and cleaned the dryer vent quickly and professionally. The two guys who came to do the job were nice and used shoe covers as to not get the inside of my house dirty, very much appreciated as the carpets were just cleaned. All around a great company, I'll be using them periodically to have dryer vents cleaned - those things get dirty!

Dryer vent had a very long run and required extra work to clean. Used a very powerful vacuum and completed the job in a professional and effecient manner.

The service call went very well. The extensive inspection and service performed on our dryer vent was excellent. The servicemen explained what work would be performed and why. They gave us a detailed explanation as to the importance of having our vent cleaned annually... we've already marked our calendar to have them come back next year.

Drying took about 4-5 hours for complete dryness and the carpets were left spotless and soft and fluffy. I was extremely pleased with the work that was done. I had postponed the work several times due to family issues and Jason was very cooperative and when we finally settled on a date, they called to let me know exactly when they were going to be here. I found both gentlemen to be extremely professional and personable, not to mention very caring with my furniture. It took them approximately 2-1/2 hours to do my house and they used their time wisely. They are the ones I will call for the next carpet cleaning, without a doubt!

It went great! They arrived on time, were extremely respectful and polite, and completed the work quickly.

There were SEVERAL rescheduling issues with this company. Fortunately I do not work at this time, as the rescheduling would not happen until an hour or so prior to the originally scheduled appointment. The price was wonderful for the service and once here the job was completed in no time. I will consider using this company again because I believe everyone deserves a second chance and their work was top notch.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that we purchased. It was excellent. We would recommend them. Two guys came out and my floors were filthy. They did a really, really good job and we were pleased. They did everything I asked them to do. They didn't frown or anything. They moved my furniture and put little plastic things under them. They got so much junk from under my bed and they even did the closet. The work was done in a very timely manner. They were very professional and we didn't have any problems.

This was a fabulous experience. Jason scheduled the service for a few weeks out. I wanted it sooner, but it was worth the wait. The service was scheduled for 9. He called promptly at 9 to say he'd be there between 9:30 and 9:45. He arrived at 10 and introduced me to his associate. (Note to Jason: if you give people a range (like "between 9 and 10" rather than a specific time), it would help set expectations better.) Both men listened to my issue (VERY smelly clothes, as well as some other floor vents nearby that were stinky). Both immediately suspected that the vent was disconnected and not venting properly. They immediately went into the crawl space to investigate. There they took pictures that confirmed their suspicion. From there they fixed the problem, cleaned out the entire vent (which ends up under the back porch and very difficult to access). They worked efficiently and thoroughly, and they put on those booties before coming into our home (much appreciated). In addition to the disconnected vent which they fixed, they said that they noticed rat/cat droppings/urine, which they said were causing the vent odors. They suggested setting traps, which I thought was great advice. (Since the also do duct cleaning, I thought it was especially upright of them, rather than suggesting that as the primary fix for stinky ducts.) Finally, I showed them some moisture on the floor in the panty, which I thought might be related. They tilted back the freezer where we discovered it was just condensation under the freezer. Jason suggested putting 2x4s under the freezer--great idea.

They were great. They were professional, on time, friendly and they did a good job. I would use them again.

My wife and I were very satisfied with the service provided by Brian and Buz. They were both very knowledgeable and eager to share explanations about what they were doing at all times as well as useful information on mold, mildew, filters and the configuration of our duct system. We definitely would hire Kohmar Indoor Services again.

GREAT! They moved my dryer and found the connection was not tight so that I had a lot of lint around my laundry, they fixed it at no extra cost. They made sure the outside of the dryer vent was lint free as well. They spent about 2.5 hours cleaning all the vents, etc. in my 2-story home. They also did my moms house, and they fixed an area that had some moisture problem. They were Fantastic!

They arrived promptly and went right to work. Three hours later they were done and I signed off on a job well done. They work hard and take the job seriously. Highly recommended.

I was very pleased with the service. Not only did they show up on time, they we're running early and called to see if they could show up 20-30 minutes ahead of time to my location. So, I'm impressed when folks show up on time at all, in this day and age. However, I was overly impressed that these folks would take advantage of being ahead of schedule by offering a customer [me] a more prompt response than what was expected. It was "old fashioned" customer service, I was so grateful. Look, I'm just as skeptical of the ratings as you are right now [as you read my rating]. Kohmar was great! Two gentlemen arrived right on time at my new house. They cleaned out the dryer vent and told me about where it was located in my house and how often I'll need to clean it each year. Said they would contact me to schedule when cleaning is due in the future. Great, knowledgeable guys, quick service and I feel a lot safer knowing that this was done. Wasn't sure if dryer vent cleaning was something I needed or not but I am glad I did it because we apparently have an oddly shaped dryer vent which will collect lint more quickly than others. Also I thought my vent was in a different part of the house than it really was and they showed me the correct place. Glad I know now!

He came promptly and on time and took pains to keep from getting things dirty. I appreciate the good and considerate service.

I purchased the Angie's Deal in February, knowing that I would need my carpet cleaned prior to my son's graduation party in May. Though I could have gotten a deal with other carpet cleaners, I was impressed with the reviews for Kohmar. The staff was very professional and arrived on time. I was able to get an early appointment, so that my carpet would be dry by the time everyone was home from work. They were done in less than 2 hours; carpet was dry in approximately 4 hours. I am sure I will be using their services again.

I've used Kohmar before for carpet cleaning. As was my experience before, they were punctual, professional and thorough. After moving the dryer and everything near it, they put it back as they'd found it. Although they had to hunt for the external vent (I didn't know where it was exactly), they climbed under the house to get to it and took care not to damage shrubs and lattice in the process. I will definitely use them again for this or other services.

It went well. They were about an hour late, otherwise everything went okay.

Purchased this service as an Angie's List deal and was extremely pleased. Jason Kohring, the owner, called twice beforehand, once to set up a date for the service and an hour before they arrived. Although delayed from original appointment time since my service call was late in the day, Jason called to advise me of the delay. That was much appreciated. When he and his assistant came to the front door, they put on covers over their shoes so as not to track dirt into the house. They quickly went to work and were finished within a half-hour. They disconnected the dryer, vacuumed out the pipe to the outside, then went outside and vacuumed the vent. Jason also took the time to answer a question about the best way to clean the dryer vent. I would definitely use them again to clean the dryer vent and piping in between.

We had just closed on the house, so we were not there while the work was being performed. The ducts seemed to be clean, no odd smells or residual dust. They do not clean the returns, as there was dust still on the fins. It was dust that would have to be wiped off, not vacuumed off. The house had freshly refinished wood floors which showed scratches near the front door and downstairs return. I can't say for certainty that they caused them, but I would caution others to be careful if they bring their machinery on wood flooring. They worked very quickly and were done in under 3 hours.
