Kohmar Air Duct Cleaning LLC.

It went really well. Only issue was that the technician that I believe was the owner accidently broke off a valve in the heating system. He immediately called a plumber in to see if it could be fixed that day but unfortunately, a part had to be ordered so it was the next afternoon before the plumber could come out and install it. It was one of the coldest nights this winter so I just bought one of the upright electric heaters for the bedroom and stayed in there all night. It was fine. He was extremely apologetic and could not have been nicer. Even so this accident happened, I would still recommend them to anyone and use them again.

The person came on time and finished all the work correctly.

The only thing they could have improved on to get a perfect grade was to be able to take better pictures inside the ducts to show me before and after so I can see how much was cleaned, deeper pictures inside the system. They only showed me pictures that were near the outlet. Otherwise, I would say I am more than satisfied on the dryer vent cleaning. They did a better than satisfactory job. There were no extra costs to the $75 Big Deal.

Jason and Jerrill had to deal with roughly 25 years worth of accumulated dust, cat hair, etc.,, and did an outstanding job in cleaning it out. They were punctual, professional, and pleasant. I would recommend them highly.

I set up a service because I had been noticing a musty smell when the heat pump was running and figured it was time for a good duct / vent cleaning. I received a reminder call the day before to confirm time/date and a call from the technician's the morning of the service. When the two men arrived they introduced themselves, put "booties" on to protect the flooring, and proceeded to do a thorough inspection of the system. After spending about 20 minutes and looking at both units (attic and crawl space) they told me that my system and lines were clean and really didn't require anything further! Their honesty, integrity, and professionalism blew me completely away! They could have easily provided the scheduled cleaning and I would not have known any difference -- instead they gave me an honest assessment of the system and told me it wasn't necessary to do anything further. I asked them to look at my dryer vent which was leaking into the crawl space and they fixed and cleaned the line for me. Additionally, they offered to inspect the heat pump unit because I mentioned that I was smelling a "musty" odor at times (which I had assumed was coming from the ducts but was mistaken). The coils and filters in the unit were dirty so they sanitized them for me. I am pleased beyond words with the service that Kohmar provided and would highly recommend them to all of my friends. I will definitely be using them again for any future duct work and dryer cleaning that I require.

This is a family run business. Woman owned. Cheryl, the owner, sent her sons out to us. Her young men were not only able to come earlier than we scheduled but also came into our home with hands extended, clearly stating their names to introduce themselves. Well trained and respectful!!! Once they explained very clearly what the job entailed, they got started. they were done in about an hour. When they were done, they packed up. They left things very neat and clean. I would certainly hire them again the next time we need duct cleaning. Actually, I look forward to them returning.

Been here in this house for 20 years and never had ducts cleaned. House is about 70 years old and ducts in attic were added to provide A/C. Furnace is used for heat. Parts of the insulation surrounding the ducts were rotting, so wasn't sure what was needed to get the job done. When the guys came they inspected everything, found that it was going to be a bit tricky to get the job done, and spent time analyzing how they'd go about it. Once they decided on the plan they worked for about 2 hours or more and did an excellent job of doing what could be done that day. They returned several days later and replaced the air filtration system which was extremely difficult to get to with one that is readily accessible. These men knew their job and did it in an extremely professional way! I will most definitely recommend them to my friends and if you are reading this I hope you decide to use them!!

They were friendly and the duct cleaning went smoothly. However, as part of a different project several months later, my ducts were cleaned by a different company (MoldX), and the lack of thoroughness on the part of Kohmar Air Duct Cleaning became apparent. The second duct cleaners were way more thorough, followed NADCA standards, and pulled out debris (including a cardboard box left over from my home's construction) that had been sitting in my ducts growing mold -- and that Kohmar missed. The Kohmar team was pleasant to deal with but they just didn't do a very complete job.

They were great. Very professional, friendly but overly so. They wore "booties" when they came into the house from the outside to protect our flooring. They answered our questions and were in and out within about an hour. I was very pleased with their service and professionalism.

They were very professional, polite, considerate. A plumber had left some ductwork just laying out in the open in the crawl space after taking out my half bath - which meant I had been paying for conditioning the crawl space ever since. The two men who performed the cleaning service did whatever they could do to cap off that open ductwork and made sure to let me know I needed to get someone in here to cap it off properly.

I used Kohmar to clean the duct work as well as the carpets in the house that I was renting a couple of years ago. I had such wonderful results, I called them back out to clean the duct work of a home I recently purchased. They are, as always, professional, responsive, courteous and highly effective. I could not be happier.

Thorough job and very good once the gentleman arrived however VERY difficult to schedule and communication was frankly difficult to the point of ridiculous.

It was a small job and the rug had a tough stain. They tried the best that they could but the stain didn't come out.

Kohmar was very professional and punctual. They respected my home and explained everything they were doing as the process went on. The entire process took about 5 hours. They also cleaned each register vent, but did miss one vent and duct that was reviewed on our walk through. This was the only area that they missed, but it is unfortunate since we did review it prior to commencing the work. A before and after photo in addition to a quote for additional work was promised, but these have not been received a week out from the service date. Overall I had a great experience, but a couple misses prevent me from providing a perfect score. I would certainly recommend their services again.

I was contacted promptly by the company to schedule a service date soon after I completed my purchase. On the day of my appointment I was called and asked if the technicians could arrive earlier than scheduled because they had a cancellation and that was fine with me. Upon arrival the two gentleman introduced themselves and went right to work. Afterwards the technician took the time to explain what they had done and I appreciated that.

The whole experience was exceptional. The technicians explained what they were going to do, gave us a time frame from start to finish and gave us a detailed description of what they found and how everything looked. They were extremely professional and the equipment they used looked state of the art.

I had an emergency with my dryer duct, where a potential fire almost started at the vent outside. Kohmar was able to fit me into their schedule the next day to correct the issue. The ducts were completely cleaned out, and the technician was very friendly and showed me how much lint was removed. He also examined my crawl space where the ducts ran, and provided recommendations for more efficient airflow. I was so pleased with the work and price, that I immediately scheduled them to come back and correct the duct issue.

The company called to schedule the cleaning within minutes of my applying on Angie's List. On the day of the cleaning, one person came. He first visited the room to be cleaned and discussed what was needed with me, noting special needs. The actual cleaning was done efficiently and thoroughly, with beautiful results. The carpet looks like new.

The areas that they cleaned were high traffic areas which had not been cleaned in four years. They did a great job and were able to remove stains which were fairly engrained

They did a great job. I did not think that they overcharged me in any way. I called them and they were here the next day. They were here right on time. They were very protective of our furniture. They put stuff under the furniture. I thought they did a good job. I have used them several times before and I will continue to use them.
