Excellent service! Made a call to request a price quote, Barbara was able to come out and take measurements that afternoon, called w/estimate the next day, and worked with my schedule to get the work on the calendar. Their installers knocked out the work in one day (second floor and staircase of a small Cape Cod), including removal of old carpet, and everything looked great when they were done!

Joe, Kim, the guys for installation, Danny, Lloyd and Justin were EXCELLENT! Joe has always been great, he helped me previously with carpet. But, this time, I cannot say enough good things about Danny, Lloyd and Justin. They went above and beyond in the installation. The subfloor had to be replaced and the did the work with excellent results. Also, because the installation had to be done over two days, the guys moved my washer and dryer twice with no extra charge. Who else would do this? No one that I know of. You do truly get what you pay for. I HIGHLY recomment Jeters for all your flooring needs. They will forever have my business!

The group was very professional, punctual, and although the price was higher than we had anticipated, the flooring looks great and it was a job very well done! You do get what you pay for. Will use them again when we replace the vinyl in our kitchen and bathrooms next year!

Jeter's Carpeting was very friendly, professional and helpful during my selection of carpeting. James (Sales Associate) was extremely knowledgeable of carpet types/quality/durability and padding which was very helpful to me with making my selection. Installation went very smoothly. They completed job in 2 days as scheduled. I would definitely purchase carpet again from Jeter's, if needed.

I shop contractors and service providers via Angie's List all the time. When it came time to replace our carpet I contacted 4 different companies who were all highly rated. The initial experience with Jeeter's was very different that any of the other 3. James came out and did the measurement himself, last name Jeter. He was nice, friendly, and even offered to give an off cuff estimate and leave the prices and measurements behind. That was the first big difference. After all of the estimates we visited two installers and Jeter's was the second. We spend a good bit of time looking at carpeting at their facility. Their selection was not quite as varied as the other but they offered a wide range of selections. When we made our choice based on stain resistance, warranty, padding weight, and carpet backing weight that was comparable to our other quote the price came out slightly higher than the first vendor. My wife and I left and went to lunch to talk things over. When it comes to commodity products I price show. When it comes to something like carpet where the installation matters I usually deliberate a long time. All in all, the attention, family name, and "feel" of Jeeter?s just struck both of us (we're engineers, that doesn't happen often) so we called James back and asked him to write it up. The carpet came in on time but the installation took a day longer than had been estimated. That could be viewed as an inconvenience and a problem. I watched the team install the carpet. They were good. The two gentlemen who came to our house were absolute professionals and focused on every detail as if it was their own home. The extra day of the house being torn apart did not matter, I could see the time and care they put into their job. When they left we had a spot install that I felt was worth every penny they charged us. I just realized I forgot to write this review and it is now five months later. The carpet is beautiful, the stain resistance is every bit what we were promised, and the installation has held up exactly as expected or hoped. By a weird stroke of luck it turns out we are moving. The house we have purchased has older carpeting that needs to be replaced. I plan on giving Jeeter's a call as soon as we close to have that house recarpeted by them. Local, family owned, fair prices, excellent service, and a high quality installation. I honestly would not think of giving the business to anyone else.

After 11 yrs in our home it was time to replace the builder grade carpet. I checked a few of the box stores and was not impressed with thier knowledge of carpet and answers to my questions especially when it came down to the install process. Be careful of any store that offers "free install" or install for $99.This often does not include moving furniture or removal of old carpet etc. With Jeters I got one price for all the work and labor including removal of old carpet and install of new padding. They were not the cheapest bid I received however Jeters took the time to thoroughly go over our needs. In fact, the carpet we were to select was more than we budgeted for so we thought we would hold off on the new carpet for a while. Jeter's called us a few weeks later and advised us that Mohawk had a 50% off special on the carpet grade we were looking for. We selected our colors and agreed on an install date. Jeters sent two men to our house who spent three days completing the job. You can tell these guys were professional installers by the way they worked,very organized and detailed oriented. All furniture was moved and put back in its place. After two months I can say the carpet is holding up very well and looks great.

Mr Jeter was incredibly proffesional, prompt, courteous, and communicative. He worked with my schedule with my painter and completed the job quickly. I wish all service providers were as excellent as Jeter's carpet and Flooring.

From my first visit to the store/showroom, I was impressed by the customer service and by the selection of merchandise. i was guided through my selections based on price and quality. The visit to measure the dimensions was on time and i never felt rushed during the visit. The installers were professional, on time and focused on completing the work. When a problem arose, I called the store and a staff person made a visit to evaluate the situation; it was promptly addressed without question. I was very impressed overall by the products, the installation and the professionalism of all involved. I have referred friends to this business.

I called Jeter's and Barbara answered the phone and I told her I needed to have my house measured so I could get an estimate for carpet and my kitchen flooring. I was surprised to hear she could come out the next day after being told by others to wait a week or more, and at a cost at some. Barbara showed up on time and measured my house and got back with me the next day I think and to my surprise was considerably cheaper then my other estimates. We scheduled the install and the next week my installers showed up on time and were neat, clean and professional. They had to disassemble my furniture and reassemble it to put in the carpet, and did so better then the furniture store I bought it from. And all without a scratch. As. For my kitchen we ran into a problem with how the original floor was installed and the owner Kim came to my house to sit down with me and we worked out a solution that worked, and more importantly made me a happy, and no doubt a return customer. A great experience.

I will divide this review into 2 different sections. 1. Jeter's Sales Organization Our contact at Jeter's started very professionally and was very responsive; however, once we had paid for the installation, the service went downhill and the poor communication began. Before signing the contract, the sales rep informed us it would be 2 weeks before installation could be started. However, immediately after we signed the contract, the sales rep requested if they could perform the work the following week. We were unable to meet this timeline, and all of the sudden the material was on backorder for an additional 2-3 weeks. (This was confusing as they were able to perform the installation, so they had material; however, we could not meet the timeline, so then the material was on backorder). After 1 month of paying a 50% deposit, I had to follow up about when we could perform the installation, and the material continued to be on backorder. Finally, after 1.5 months they were able to schedule the installation, but we were not able to agree on a time. Finally, after 2 months, we were able to schedule an installation for 2 days. Despite the agreed upon timeline, the full installation required a 3rd day. After the installation, the sales representative followed up 2 weeks after the completion. She had informed me she had called multiple times and left me more than one message despite my lack of miscalls and messages. Overall, the sales representative's service was not great, and went down over time especially once the deposit was paid. 2. Installation Company The representative that installed the flooring in our home did a good job. The only compliant is that the gap between the tile and door frame was filled cheaply and looks incomplete.

They had comparable prices but ultimately it was a little bit higher than the ones we chose to go with. We went to their showroom and the guy there was very helpful and nice. But when he showed up to the house, he was very quick and short and was not thorough at all. So that was one of the reasons we didn’t go with them.

They were excellent. The piece came out here and when they installed it, it went to unroll it he bound damage on it so Mr. James called me and said he is out there now, the piece that you bought was damaged what you want to do about it, you want to come back and look at something else and I said no he is there now I need to get this done so he went on the floor and selected something that would of probably higher quality than one I initially bought and gave it to me for the same price and they do a flawless job of putting it down. The owner of the business got involved and he was hands on. I would use them again.

They cancelled on the original installation date. 3 hours late on the second appointment. Some thresholds are loose or have come off all together. Very courteous installers and courteous sales representatives. Carpet quality seems to be sufficient. Not sure yet if it is worth the money. Have been told Jeter has a good reputation.

We had selected two remnants as cost-saving measure for an investment property: 12 x 19 and 12 x 10 to cover dining/kitchen/laundry and pantry areas. Installer discovered remnant to be damaged, so a few quick phone calls resulted in new vinyl selected off the rack at no extra charge. Very courteous and professional. No delay in installation and the floor looks fantastic. Very thick and good quality.

It went very well they are excellent. they've done work for me for years. since 1998. They provide quality service and make sure the job is done right the first time.

From start to finish, it was a very good experience. Joe Getchell worked with us to get the price down to what we wanted. Installation was easily scheduled and the job was done in 2 days. The next day we noticed a small problem, which was easily and quickly corrected.

The price was reasonable. Our experience with them was adequate. We didn’t have any extensive work done by them. The work that was done was done well. They were super simple to work with.

A very good experience. James Jeter showed us samples, let us take them home and fully understood when we made a change. Workman was very professional and James came back to make minor corrections. Very good experiences -- floor is beautiful -- and we will use Jeters for additional work.

I needed carpet installed on my office stairs. Their representative met me at my office and brought in a few samples after I gave him an idea of what I was looking for. His selections were right on point and I contacted him about a week later and told him to move forward. He told me the carpet would take 3 to 5 days to come in. I had an office party to give on Friday the 17th and the carpet was supposed to come in on the 16th. He said they could install it on the 18th. I asked if they could have it done before the party. He made a few calls and MADE IT HAPPEN! It was installed the night of the 16th and looked fabulous for my party! The installers were prompt, neat, and very personable. Email communication was a little slow, but overall I LOVE THESE GUYS!

If it wasn't for Angie's List, I would've never tried Jeters. I went to Home Depot, Floor Trader and Lowe's first, then checked Angie's List when I knew I was going forward with the project. Jeters is actually cheaper, has better quality selections and provide excellent service. Jeters only sells carpet and flooring of all types and qualities. They come to measure, then you go to the store and pick out what you want. The price they give you is all inclusive (they move furniture, add quarter round, etc.). The other vendors were constantly adding fees for things. I had to reschedule the installation because I became ill. No problem. Jeters came on time, with a crew and did a top notch professional job. I am so impressed with their skill level. They are a delight to have in your home and they clean up everything. I cannot say enough about this company. I plan on doing the bedrooms next year and I'm calling Jeters. I've always liked supporting local small businesses, but when you can get a bargain and excellent installation, it's a no brainer. Thank you, Angie's List, for finding this place. Outstanding service and wonderful job. I'm so thrilled.

Ernie was prompt and very professional. They were flexible with our scheduling and were there when they said they would be. Wonderful workmanship and competitive pricing. These are guys you can trust.

ll Our experience with Jeter Carpet was good. They were prompt, courteous, and professional. They came when they said they would and did a nice job installing our carpet. There were a couple of areas that needed attention and they returned and took care of those right away. Our carpet looks great! We are very pleased!
