John and his crew not only lined the curved drive to closely match the contour but also graded and cleaned the drive of debris. They even removed a large underground yellow jacket nest, being stung in the process. I was totally impressed with the craftsmanship, professionalism, service, and price. They kept to their estimate and start time and were efficient in completing the work in a day and a half. The end result was much more than I expected. I am an engineer at NASA and focus on quality and expertise in the work that is done for our spacecraft missions. This was truly an expert job.

John's personality is delightful, and having his crew work at my home was a pleasure. John is very knowledgeable on wood retaining walls. He and his crew were very easy to work with and were totally cooperative is meeting all of my wishes, as well as using their experience to help me decide on design details. The work was done quickly and generally proficiently. The finished wall looks great. I have two small complaints: The steps are not as precisely constructed as the wall, although they are functional. Also, the crew began back-filling behind the wall with fluffy topsoil scraped from my garden rather than crushed stone, which is needed to support the overlaying paved driveway. I removed the top soil that evening and the crew back-filled with #57 stone the next day.
