handyman service, pressure washing, house painters
+ 1 moreExterior painting and stucco repair was started in Nov. 2010 and was not finished in April 2011.
Description of Work: Was to paint and do porch repairs. Would ask for material money and not show up for days at a time. Did some stucco repairs and it cracked within 2 weeks. Was to replace a few pieces of trim boards, instead he removed what was there and just painted over the cracks he exposed. I strongly believe this man has PERSONAL PROBLEMS and would highly recommend everyone stay away from dealing with him. I took a loss, but had to fire him because every bit of work or painting was of the poorest quality. I don't believe he's ever done this type of work. He claimed to be licenced but later found out it was revoked 2 years earlier.

pressure washing
+ -1 moreReceived a confirmation call on the day of the scheduled appt. telling me they would arrive at noon. I explained that my appt. was at 10:00. I had called to confirm the previous day. I had moved a meeting in order to accommodate their time. They insisted they could not come until 12 noon. I agreed to the change and emphasized that it could not be later than that, because of my afternoon schedule. They assured me it would be at noon. So, I cut my meeting -the one I had rescheduled to accommodate this company -short to be home at noon. J & B did not show. AT 12:15 I called to inquire, and they told me that the power washer would be there in an hour. I decided to cancel, concluding that 25% off coupon was obviously referring to 25% off customer service!
Description of Work: Scheduled J & B Construction (home improvements) to power wash my house through a 25% off coupon left on a flier at my door. I scheduled the appt. for 10 am on a Wed. morning.
